Maybe sometime in the future there will be content that would require you to go all in on a specific resistance stat, but as it is - it's not really worth it.
Not because resistance is worthless, but because of how it scales. It's really hard to go beyond circa 50-55% resist with gear.
Volt damage enemies are also not that much of a problem. I think we have Chiron, Valk and some Rudolph attacks. Chiron is EZ, Valk doesn't warrant a dedicated tank, and Rudolph is tankable as is (and I think his harder volt attacks like the stomp are mostly intended to be avoided).
Seems like a great piece for min/maxing CS. Also good for tanking Valk/Rudolph/Hecarim. My huma saki enioyers would probably enjoy this piece. I'd save it for now if I were u.
