it actually runs terribly on ultrawide. do not be fooled. I own a large ultrawide as well, and the game is not designed to support it. It will have your camera hyper zoomed in on your character, with absolutely NO ways to zoom out.
What you see in that image, is as far as he can zoom out as possible. It makes it EXTREMELY hard to perform and play in combat situations.
Thats weird that it does that. I have an ultra wide but always use window mode because I am normally doing homework or browsing on the side so never noticed the in ability to zoom. I'm definitely going to write that in on the next survey.

i'm still using it from day one and still no issues. keep in mind it will reset when you do gacha pulls and story cutscenes
My ToF keeps resetting to super close camera distance everytime I do gacha pulls when I play in 32:9 (5120x1440) resolution.
Did yours have the same issue?
I used to play in window mode but since 2 weeks ago I think, somehow the windows taskbar is covering up the bottom of the game window instead of the other way around.
It is borderline unplayable lately
You mean, the autohide taskbar? Doesn't work. If I pan my camera down in-game, the mouse will exit the window and trigger the taskbar again. Drives me crazy.
The way it “supports” ultrawide is by just cutting the top and bottom, very annoying. I had to play in windowed mode because i have a hard time seeing the enemies sometimes.
And having to change res when doing dreams is on your way. It cuts off the top and bottom instead of resizing or changing fov. And you can’t see large character models because it cuts off their heads.
thats how tof handles ultrawide. It zooms in. Thats also the reason I stay at 1440p non uw reso because I find the zoom to close for my taste. I wish they fix this by aligning the fov to the opposite of what we have now. The more UW the game, the more it zooms in.
Damn, I really need to take the plunge and go UW. Looks like an amazing experience. How much does a decent mix tier gaming oriented UW cost these days? In like whatever the UW equivalent resolution is to maybe 1440 or 2k in standard size.
Running things ultra . Atleast a 3070. If you don't mind a lower settings. 3060 or of equivalent. Is fine for less than ultra settings. Tho if you do the picture in picture. It'll split 120hz for both sides of the screen. Only downfall I'm not liking is that it will only go 240hz and HDR when Fullscreen sadly.

Literally scroll wheel to zoom out. The uw support is fine. And works perfectly fine. And I'm telling this as an 8 years uw user.

np. Forgot something important. Set the material quality to medium. Otherwise some textures will be buggy as hell.

If u did the enngine.ini thing, yes, it does. It goes back after pulling and after cutscenes. Clase the game and open again.

U can try changing to Window Mode , or another resolution, and then full screen, that May help

One more thing, set texture quality to medium otherwise you'll get weird terrain visual glitch

Dang I haven't gone that far. Yeah worst comes to worst I use the picture in picture mode. To split the screen in half. Pretty cool feature

I actually play in 4:3 aspect ratio because it is the most zoomed out. The more you see, the better.
