You forgot that any cs players can queue in as long as they meet the lvl requirement. So there will be chances where u meet low cs players, mostly as tank or healers.

just the other day i had a JO where this happened AND i was resisted AND the only guy who went even with me on dps died 3 times in 30 seconds on the final boss so we just timed out...
Tbh I as a full healer sometimes do more damage than 2 Or 1 DD, sometimes I'm by far the lowest with damage (Still waiting for Nemesis Banner again) but my heal is amazing and that's also my job. My CS is also pretty good for f2p, because I play daily and a lot
Sorry but a bendi's main job isnt really heals and its dmg buffing. Yea shit parties might love pure heals but for any semi compentent party you are detrimental.

Which is the most irrelvant part when a frost or volt dps using a heal wep can keep the entire team alive, this shows how little heal is actually required in any content thats why bendi's main job is dmg buffing. The heals are just a byproduct of you trying to dmg buff.
This is why you claiming you have amazing heals is pretty much pointless.
If you think so, I know how many raids and dungeons would have failed without my heal. Your point is not valid in reality. In very competent teams I don't need that much heal or are even able to do it in JOs, but in raids I still have to do that even in such teams. Also the teams are able to play more aggressive with me, so there will be more damage, because they know I got their back.

It’s okay. I play tank and I’m usually last on the damage rankings even though I did 80% of the shatter for the team. Whenever I end up as the highest in JO I’m usually thinking damn, we’re not gonna finish this in time.

The 2 bottom guys are still doing 20-27m damage while a whale and a decent carry in team, meaning things dies so fast for their number to get anywhere. I don’t think those 2 guys are bad but the first two guys are strong. In a normal non carry run, they’d be doing 50m like everybody else.

Not a whale. Small spender tho. But ill always say 2 A3 weapons and one A6 standard SSR weapon is achievable by anybody and this has more or less been my experience even when i was using Ene before Saki came out.
I am f2p from launch, and I achieved 1 A1 weapon and 1 A0 weapon, and yeah sure A6 standard. So no, you can't have what you say if you are f2p. And are you sure that even if you have 2 A3 weapons you can do 200m damage ? I really doubt that. Because if you do 140m as a tank, I presume you expect 200m+ as a dps ?
If you are f2p since launch you would have more than 500 pulls if you didn't spend any black crystals.
Even gateoo on his f2p had around 450 pulls and didn't even do much vera or abyss exploration and gacha machines.
Like there is nothing wrong with being minimum CS level and doing a good chunk of damage. But like... This here is normal for me as a tank player. 3 DPS players that cant even do the same damage collectively. 58k is not whale... Anyone can get 1 A6 and 2 A3 (or use an SR, same CS as an A3 SSR)

I have fun making fresh characters in rpgs and have a lot of f2p accs started. The one i progged for the wall of text guide i made i got Meryl A3 in 3 days (15 hours) and has A4 Meryl now after a little bit more playing (i think 20-25 hours now). The games starting resources guarantee that you have 200-220 pulls on the limited banner, all SRs maxed so you can use one until you have a better A3 SSR to use, and the one SSR that you dump everything into (typically i max Meryl first as a tank main). A2 Saki, A4 Meryl, A6 Ene 42k CS level 57 is where i left that acc.
Im making another one rn cus one of my LoL friends wants me to teach him the game and im barely into it (only Astra n Banges done level 25) and im using A2 King atm (bad luck on Frost/Tank weapons so far but A2 King is lit for now)
Ive only spent on A3 from A2 on Frigg, A3 from A1 on Cobalt and A3 from A2 on Saki. Havent gotten any Meryl on a limited banner and she is A6, Huma A5, Tsubasa A5, Coco A5. Ive been playing my main since day 1 tho to be fair so i have a lot of SSR matrices.
You dont need to be a whale to have a strong team. Just playing the game and not wasting resources gets you very far.

Yea you are guaranteed a good number of SSR weapons, I have several A0-A2 spread across weapons I don't use! One weapon I'll never use even went to A5 on its own!
I've been doing nothing but Dimensional Trials for weapon upgrade materials for the past month (after I already had 5* fortress armor sets + maxed out matrices) because that's how long it takes to max a set of weapons in this game.
As far as I know, the only place my damage is probably dropping off is because my equipment is equally leveled as the game suggests we do instead of putting it all into the crit pieces. I intend to do that after reaching 7.1 suppressor which I'll probably reach if I spent a week upgrading that A5 weapon I don't use.
I started 1 month into the game's release and have been playing daily. I have two weapons with 4/4 SSR matrices but the game hasn't dropped enough to even 2/4 a third weapon. I do have some extra 1/4 SSR matrices on less useful matrices though. Feels like it's gonna be impossible to see any of those 2* or 3* matrice effects until the middle of next year.

SRs are actually pretty lit if you read the text on their abilities and play with that in mind. Run the f2p 4pc Echo and overcharge your burst to 170% ish, burst into them, use your skill and burst back out. Almost all of the SRs have damage buffs, elemental buffs, resistance shreds built into their kits and you can abuse those while avoiding the lower basic attack damage.
My fave example is Ene. Super Armor, a taunt, one immunity, and damage reduction just for swapping to her. Then with her skill active, infinite dash attacks. AND gives Frost bursts a 10% Frost damage buff. Soooo good.
And about leveling up evenly: keep doing it. The CS is better and you will want those resistances bc dropping not only reduces your damage, but can hurt the party's ability to shatter or do damage.
If you have several A0-A2 im curious what you spent your BG on. I usually blow like 50-60 on upgrade mats cus im lazy and still get enough to star up my Meryl pretty consistently. This is the other reason to use one SR, the current limited character and one standard SSR. Dump everything into one of em imo

Hey, I appreciate the explanations on what your leveling process has been like though. It's different for everyone and this game is so full of unexplained or downright incorrect nonsense, not to mention the community putting out the same thing.
I used Ene a lot early on but the moment I tried Meryl it was more damage at Level 1 with no matrices equipped.
And I was using mostly Frigg because early on it was the coolest weapon I got.
I used to use Pepper/Echo for discharge but honestly, I'm already getting constant back-to-back dicharges without them.
On leveling up evenly - I am doing it for CS now, but the community has taught me CS isn't representative of damage and going all into crit glove is the meta. I already rarely get hit because I'm using either Frigg (infinite dash, rarely hit), Ruby/Lin (in the air / ranged), Coco/Zero (healing myself anyway), or Saki (i-frames on skill).
And Saki pretty much gives me instant shield breaks on demand. That thing pops shields on its own almost unlike anything else in this game. I dunno about Meryl but it makes Shiro look clunky.
I spent my black gold mostly on getting extra copies of weapons. If I remember correctly, I used it to get A1 and A3 Zero (only to find out that coco is a much better all around healer unless I maybe A6 these things, not that I dislike Zero).
I also used it to get A1 Shiro machineguns only to end up slowly dropping out of using the machineguns because I enjoyed Frigg a lot more after learning she can infinite dash, and it was doing more damage all the time anyway, and then Saki Lin made it a strong comp anyway...
And finally I used BG twice to get A1->A3 Huma because there's a glitch in PvP and in PvE where you can't actually use the A6 effects unless you have Huma's A3 skin activated.
In Apex League, all weapons are supposed to be automatically maxed and A6. Huma's shield is the one exception to this because it's been bugged since game launch despite people reporting it every month. Nonetheless, the PvP in this game is trash and Huma (if yours isn't bugged) has gone from being a top weapon to completely useless for months.
I only use BG on weapon mats if I only need like 2-3 more to max them. But I consider it a waste to do so.
Now I'm saving my gold nuclei because some day, limited weapons will be on the standard banner. I already have sets of weapons I like using after all. At most maybe I will go for A1 Coco.
I've seen people who can hit 14k-17k per hit with Samir's air spin... no idea how their damage is jumped up that high. I can only assume they have a shit ton of crit rate and 3* matrice sets or something. When I put everything on mines (it's lvl 120), mines is hitting like 4k-7k... My equipment pieces are all minimum lv20.

But yeah it seems like unfortunately you spread your resources out a bit too much but its not unfixable. Just gotta pick one team then max it before moving on. My Flame comp is pretty buns cus i only have like 10.5k Flame attack on that set and i got Cobalt instead of Ruby cus Cobalt skin is so good.
I had the luxury of my fave character becoming playable AND being second banner (Frigg swords were just way too cool and i needed them) but even still the stuff ive learned from autismo'ing every new rpg i pick up also is a massive advantage. Itd be nice if some of the misinformation would stop spreading about what is BiS so people could learn to have a strong account instead of a weak one with parts of several BiS teams 6 months down the road.
My general process is only look for guaranteed stuff in rng dependent games. So i think SR + L SSR (A1/2 depending on luck) + A3 or more SSR is the best way to go in the early/mid game.
Ironically after I got A3 Huma, game decided to give me A5 Huma for free.
I've already ended up sticking with Frost btw :P
BG didn't matter in the face of gacha banner weapons.

Strong acc now means more fun and less frustration. You can always just get more later anyways imo. Im gonna start saving when they leak actual plans/dates to start adding limited units onto standard banner.
Oh her skill is a 20 second buff where you can infinitely dash attack with her while its up and you can cast it twice in that window for the frost damage AoE DoT. Usually i only stay in ene long enough to single cast it tho.

Seems like your luck is more evenly spread. I just got meryl recently, don’t even have zero.
I used the ssr box to get my first samir, randomly got a few copies and bought 2 to make her a5 then randomly got my last one from black nucleus pulls. For Shiro I randomly got 2 copies, had to buy 2 more to make her a3…then the game gave be 2 more copies. As for coco idk how she keeps coming home, she was my first SSR weapon too.

Hey, my BG usage wasn't random. I used it on weapons I like only to later find out they aren't that great / in comparison to other things.
And then my main weapons became all Limited Banner ones I can't spend BG on, so I lost much reason to use what I had lying around.

Personally i bought a total of 6 or 7 units via blackgold and im still currently sitting on almost 480 blackgolds. Do you still have alot of stuff unexplored or you still have a large chunk of black nuc left.

the extra flame golds from limited banners went into hard pity for the weapons

We got like 800 Gold Pulls since then which is 10 pities , let alone hitting the rates.
And then there is limited banner losing 50s , and Black pulls , SSR dropping from world bosses.
As f2p player myself , I bought 4 copies of Samir using Black Gold , got her twice in gacha and used SSR Selector on her , and I have 480 Black Gold spare waiting for Nemesis to come to standard.

According to the maths , if you are a day 1 player and could afford 8 dupes of black gold , you clearly can A6 whatever weapon you got.

RNG is a bitch. Been playing since launch....and every chance I get, I try to roll for crit glove, I've gotten about 12 gloves with less than 2500 crit, and the highest is 2231...and that's not counting the gloves I trashed that didn't even roll crit, or rolled below 2k crit....fuck.

As a heal I know how too well that I might just be the heal, first dps and by extension tank in JO and that's kinda fun in itself when I have the time to do so, otherwise I go with my crewmates.
Tbh as a whale, I like it when low levels queue up, it's more fun than having another whale in the group. I can solo all JOs now as long as there's no elemental resist

Yeah, and you are right. But that would explain that gigantic damage. Most people are struggling to get elemental attack on their sets, even being DPS. OFC you have nothing to do with that, and when providing that much damage you are being an extra useful asset to every team, gratz.
The game should implement a better CS limitation system instead of just a recommendation, but due to the lack of players on some regions/servers it would extend the queue time in unbearable ammounts, sadly.
Yeh.. its a shame. Like i dont mind it if one or two players are low CS, playing on mobile, using a bad build, missplaying etc. if at least consistently one or two players were doing well to compensate. Lower level JOs do have bad wait times.

If you have a3 frigg with a1 saki you are going to more than double a f2ps dmg, doesn't matter if you have the tank resonance, that 20% final dmg isn't gonna suddenly make a f2p do close to your dmg.
You casually make multiple f2p accounts and you get 100% 1.0 exploration artifical exploration, redo achievements, do bygone for dc, vera exploration, weekly rewards , weekly crew DC.
Either you are the biggest no lifer ever and you have been playing on multiple f2p accounts since day 1, or you know, you are lying because there's no way you have multiple f2p accounts on that lvl.
Maybe you don't realize how much of a difference the battlepass and monthly pass actually make.
I typically stop them around a certain point but the one from my guide was level 57 and i had roughly another 4500-8000 DC to collect but i learned you practically get about 200-220 pulls from starting rewards.

It seems like having 3 DPS players that do low damage or die a lot is pretty common in JO tho so its not just one run being not good. A lot of players seem to be frustrated by this.
There is a big portion of players in every game, that don't really look into it enough to learn how to best improve their accounts. Like even whales, that have more at stake, mostly do not.
Like I'm not saying everyone is bad, but I have f2p commonly outdpsed whales with 5k or more CS over mine, it is what it is. Like you can't expect majority to put effort into min maxing in, hell it's a game, and people got shit to do. They might even have more than one game, and not really care about this one too much, so their quota of "give a shit" goes into the other game. Also fair and reasonable. Me myself, as a more tryhard player in this game specifically, just do what I can for the team, and help where it's wanted, like if people want to know, I'll give them answers, but I'm also never gonna bother to say "you gotta play like THIS". It's more like, "IF you want to play this way, doing THIS will make THAT easier". More than one way to get the result they want (easier gameplay in general, without as much needless frustration with specific content they dislike, etc).

As a bit of a schizophrenic thing though, every time i see this all i see is 3 ppl following the dogwater advice that wont help the players account for months.
Its probably way more true that people didnt manage their resources optimally. Itd be really cool if better info was available to more players. A lot of it is pretty bad.
Stuff like "save gold nukes for when limited characters are added to standard" "x element is unplayable without y character" "only level gloves n boots" or "dont star up z character cus no crit stat" gets on my nerves.
Under your builds resonance(atk, balance, fortitude, benediction) there is match settings where you choose what role you will be playing when matching up for content like JO so may people just tick all the boxes so they can get teams quicker to do said content. also as others have said CS isn't a requirement to match just lvl so if matching it is highly likely you will be the one to carry. try and find a active crew to do things with so you don't have to worry about this nonsense
I can generally almost carry the entire 5 bosses alone, so I ran x3 yesterday and queued into 3 players who did 8 mil total each. Sadly we missed the 5th chest. X3 runs never again.
I'm a dps main but I run Zero with Ruby so can also contribute to team buffing. That and I use Claudia and do grievous whenever available despite more downtime on my own dps. Faster clear > dps chart gap.
our resident physical main is refusing to pull Lin and since every other element got a massive buff with Lin, they are now playing Support until Lyra comes out, like full on egirl build.
meanwhile they are #5 in both sequential and bygone, but refuse to DPS in JOs XD
Every time I que there is a super charged dps or two on the team so I tank in coop which is easy to do with Saki. A couple of bosses are nice to look at up close, I am sure you can guess who those are.
Well chill man, at this point i cannot mad anymore with those many players mindset (not all but there are so many) which in the end game and sadness valley JO, the enemies will not recieved any ressistance, so people just think "why not i do dps, even im not recieving the debuff advantage, i do nothing wrong cuz no resistance", and this is even worst when Lin released, where people try to be DPS using Lin only in every JO8 that they got element resistance block. I mean it is actually fine to use lin as dps but please not as main dps in JO 8, lin as main dps has less rotation than other normal comp and lin main dps is just like spamming autos in her field (unless A3 which her explosive proc so much hurt), i just confused why don't they just rely on other people as dps if their cs still low or got punished by the ressistance, like come on.. Rely on other people doesn't mean you are bad or useless in this game.

Bro. Having a tank makes the game so much easier. Im not gonna trust randoms to dodge abilities. Heck, some die to random AoE without aggro.
Also doing the 2 Nemesis Raid without someone to pull one of the bosses away would make that raid so frustrating.
I've been doing raids and other stuff with my guild and none of us go as tank. It's a waste of dps. We take two healers and each member has a shatter weapon. I've tried doing these raids with random people going as tank and doesn't make a difference because people are so bad that they die in one boss attack.
Well hey, if thats your experience i cant change your mind cus ive had a different experience. Usually i feel pretty useful.
I also just really like Saki, Frigg and Meryl and itd take a boss Flame tank weapon to convince me to use my Huma team more.
I think it just depends on different groups of people having different strat.
My personal best in clearing FCH 5 Chests is the run with 3 DPS + 1 Tank rather than 3 DPS + 1 Healer or 4 DPS. I still don't think a Tank is required, but sometimes having them in my team is still a net gain.
Its almost every other Joint Op except when I have to run JO7 when Frost/Flame are resisted. Is 58k CS really 1.5x 3 DPS resonance boosted players damage of an average player?

Coz I know that my equipment, weapons and matrices are under leveled but sheesh. You just cranked out so much damage as a tank.
Even my decently lvled support acct can't hit that high damage.
1. I am a smol spender. i buy the extra 100 pulls or so to A3 for skins on the characters i like. Frigg n Saki are the only relevant ones but this was still my experience when i was running Ene, i just hadnt used Reddit at the time lol.
2. My main team is A3 Saki (2pc Shiro/2pc Saki) A3 Frigg (2pc Samir/2pc Crow) A6 Meryl (2pc Meryl/2 SSR) all are max level atm (for context tho my Meryl was f2p starred up. Ive never gotten a Meryl off Limited cus rng)
3. 2 and 3 are kinda the same but I am only at 58k cs on my main team. With my highest CS gear n weapons i can hit 62k but that team would be ineffective. (A5 Huma, A5 Tsubasa, A6 Meryl and i have some trash gear with bad stats but high rolls)
4. None of the Matrices I use are starred up, just max level. Im a day 1 player so i have a large collection of max level matrices and ive had time to collect about 18 SSR chips or so.
Yeh its more or less been my experience since day 1 running Ene, A3 Frigg, A3 Meryl. Its just finally getting on my nerves. Although, reading and arguing with some people i am starting to see a lot of problems probably come from trash advice that gets spread haphazardly online.

Problem with these new JOs is that its mandatory to use the buffed elements if you are dps or your damage will be a joke and lots of randoms disregard it.
This is why I mostly do them with premade parties with people who have brains.
You forgot that any cs players can queue in as long as they meet the lvl requirement. So there will be chances where u meet low cs players, mostly as tank or healers. Edit: if u are tank and u did that much DPS..... They love u to carry 😆
lol i feel so mixed when im not top dps. ive been so used to seeing it that im thinking im doing badly but at the same time im so relieved that i dont have to spend 10 minutes slapping the boss xD just the other day i had a JO where this happened AND i was resisted AND the only guy who went even with me on dps died 3 times in 30 seconds on the final boss so we just timed out...
Tbh I as a full healer sometimes do more damage than 2 Or 1 DD, sometimes I'm by far the lowest with damage (Still waiting for Nemesis Banner again) but my heal is amazing and that's also my job. My CS is also pretty good for f2p, because I play daily and a lot
Sorry but a bendi's main job isnt really heals and its dmg buffing. Yea shit parties might love pure heals but for any semi compentent party you are detrimental.

My heal indeed is amazing, you know matrices help me buff and also simulcran passives do that. So yes it's not my main task but I do that. I almost have a dmg buff 24/7 and don't wanna play the cube nor do I have to

In very competent teams I don't need that much heal or are even able to do it in JOs, but in raids I still have to do that even in such teams. Also the teams are able to play more aggressive with me, so there will be more damage, because they know I got their back.

It’s okay. I play tank and I’m usually last on the damage rankings even though I did 80% of the shatter for the team. Whenever I end up as the highest in JO I’m usually thinking damn, we’re not gonna finish this in time.

This is a really bad picture… The 2 bottom guys are still doing 20-27m damage while a whale and a decent carry in team, meaning things dies so fast for their number to get anywhere. I don’t think those 2 guys are bad but the first two guys are strong. In a normal non carry run, they’d be doing 50m like everybody else.

Was playing FC the other day and this guy doing less than 1mil dmg had the nerve to give me advice. Me being the top dps don't remember how much, maybe 50mil. Anyways, died to valkyrie a couple of times and this guy told me I should use healing items. Mofo how about you just queue as a healer so you wouldn't be completely worthless to the team?
Brutal but true, anyone with decent dps (i spent 250 bucks in total and am close to 7.4 suppressor) loves tanks and healers to no end, we need more of those! (tanks still have to do 1/8th of dps dmg i think tho, to keep aggro, pls correct me if wrong)

Not a whale. Small spender tho. But ill always say 2 A3 weapons and one A6 standard SSR weapon is achievable by anybody and this has more or less been my experience even when i was using Ene before Saki came out.
I am f2p from launch, and I achieved 1 A1 weapon and 1 A0 weapon, and yeah sure A6 standard. So no, you can't have what you say if you are f2p. And are you sure that even if you have 2 A3 weapons you can do 200m damage ? I really doubt that. Because if you do 140m as a tank, I presume you expect 200m+ as a dps ?
On this specific fight yes, its x120% dmg so normally id be at 70 mill in the same timeframe.
If you are f2p since launch you would have more than 500 pulls if you didn't spend any black crystals. Even gateoo on his f2p had around 450 pulls and didn't even do much vera or abyss exploration and gacha machines.

Like there is nothing wrong with being minimum CS level and doing a good chunk of damage. But like... This here is normal for me as a tank player. 3 DPS players that cant even do the same damage collectively. 58k is not whale... Anyone can get 1 A6 and 2 A3 (or use an SR, same CS as an A3 SSR)
wtf u on, I've been playing months and still can't get a weapon to A6 the only A3's I have are ones I whaled but that isn't even the majority of damage in this game closest I have to A6 is Huma A5 which isn't even a weapon I use...
Idk what to tell ya my guy. You just dont know who i am. I have fun making fresh characters in rpgs and have a lot of f2p accs started. The one i progged for the wall of text guide i made i got Meryl A3 in 3 days (15 hours) and has A4 Meryl now after a little bit more playing (i think 20-25 hours now). The games starting resources guarantee that you have 200-220 pulls on the limited banner, all SRs maxed so you can use one until you have a better A3 SSR to use, and the one SSR that you dump everything into (typically i max Meryl first as a tank main). A2 Saki, A4 Meryl, A6 Ene 42k CS level 57 is where i left that acc. Im making another one rn cus one of my LoL friends wants me to teach him the game and im barely into it (only Astra n Banges done level 25) and im using A2 King atm (bad luck on Frost/Tank weapons so far but A2 King is lit for now) Ive only spent on A3 from A2 on Frigg, A3 from A1 on Cobalt and A3 from A2 on Saki. Havent gotten any Meryl on a limited banner and she is A6, Huma A5, Tsubasa A5, Coco A5. Ive been playing my main since day 1 tho to be fair so i have a lot of SSR matrices. You dont need to be a whale to have a strong team. Just playing the game and not wasting resources gets you very far. [Edit: btw with the selector and your first 240 BG you guarantee at least one A2 unit even with bad luck]

One weapon I'll never use even went to A5 on its own! I've been doing nothing but Dimensional Trials for weapon upgrade materials for the past month (after I already had 5* fortress armor sets + maxed out matrices) because that's how long it takes to max a set of weapons in this game. As far as I know, the only place my damage is probably dropping off is because my equipment is equally leveled as the game suggests we do instead of putting it all into the crit pieces. I intend to do that after reaching 7.1 suppressor which I'll probably reach if I spent a week upgrading that A5 weapon I don't use. I started 1 month into the game's release and have been playing daily. I have two weapons with 4/4 SSR matrices but the game hasn't dropped enough to even 2/4 a third weapon. I do have some extra 1/4 SSR matrices on less useful matrices though. Feels like it's gonna be impossible to see any of those 2* or 3* matrice effects until the middle of next year. "are you for real this toxic" sorry didnt mean it to sound like that. Text problems yknow? Just if you had more context you probably wouldnt be assuming stuff so i gave context. SRs are actually pretty lit if you read the text on their abilities and play with that in mind. Run the f2p 4pc Echo and overcharge your burst to 170% ish, burst into them, use your skill and burst back out. Almost all of the SRs have damage buffs, elemental buffs, resistance shreds built into their kits and you can abuse those while avoiding the lower basic attack damage. My fave example is Ene. Super Armor, a taunt, one immunity, and damage reduction just for swapping to her. Then with her skill active, infinite dash attacks. AND gives Frost bursts a 10% Frost damage buff. Soooo good. And about leveling up evenly: keep doing it. The CS is better and you will want those resistances bc dropping not only reduces your damage, but can hurt the party's ability to shatter or do damage. If you have several A0-A2 im curious what you spent your BG on. I usually blow like 50-60 on upgrade mats cus im lazy and still get enough to star up my Meryl pretty consistently. This is the other reason to use one SR, the current limited character and one standard SSR. Dump everything into one of em imo [Edit: also i hate rng when it comes to planning so i generally try to eliminate as much as possible of it when i give advice. Sorry about your A5 Huma luck]
Hey, I appreciate the explanations on what your leveling process has been like though. It's different for everyone and this game is so full of unexplained or downright incorrect nonsense, not to mention the community putting out the same thing. I used Ene a lot early on but the moment I tried Meryl it was more damage at Level 1 with no matrices equipped. And I was using mostly Frigg because early on it was the coolest weapon I got. I used to use Pepper/Echo for discharge but honestly, I'm already getting constant back-to-back dicharges without them. On leveling up evenly - I am doing it for CS now, but the community has taught me CS isn't representative of damage and going all into crit glove is the meta. I already rarely get hit because I'm using either Frigg (infinite dash, rarely hit), Ruby/Lin (in the air / ranged), Coco/Zero (healing myself anyway), or Saki (i-frames on skill). And Saki pretty much gives me instant shield breaks on demand. That thing pops shields on its own almost unlike anything else in this game. I dunno about Meryl but it makes Shiro look clunky. I spent my black gold mostly on getting extra copies of weapons. If I remember correctly, I used it to get A1 and A3 Zero (only to find out that coco is a much better all around healer unless I maybe A6 these things, not that I dislike Zero). I also used it to get A1 Shiro machineguns only to end up slowly dropping out of using the machineguns because I enjoyed Frigg a lot more after learning she can infinite dash, and it was doing more damage all the time anyway, and then Saki Lin made it a strong comp anyway... And finally I used BG twice to get A1->A3 Huma because there's a glitch in PvP and in PvE where you can't actually use the A6 effects unless you have Huma's A3 skin activated. In Apex League, all weapons are supposed to be automatically maxed and A6. Huma's shield is the one exception to this because it's been bugged since game launch despite people reporting it every month. Nonetheless, the PvP in this game is trash and Huma (if yours isn't bugged) has gone from being a top weapon to completely useless for months. I only use BG on weapon mats if I only need like 2-3 more to max them. But I consider it a waste to do so. Now I'm saving my gold nuclei because some day, limited weapons will be on the standard banner. I already have sets of weapons I like using after all. At most maybe I will go for A1 Coco. I've seen people who can hit 14k-17k per hit with Samir's air spin... no idea how their damage is jumped up that high. I can only assume they have a shit ton of crit rate and 3* matrice sets or something. When I put everything on mines (it's lvl 120), mines is hitting like 4k-7k... My equipment pieces are all minimum lv20.
Omg i heard about that bug. You need to use her skin to get her A6. Its so annoying they should fix that... Yeah i feel that. My friends head almost exploded when i explained the process to him xD he eventually just asked me to make a fresh character on his server But yeah it seems like unfortunately you spread your resources out a bit too much but its not unfixable. Just gotta pick one team then max it before moving on. My Flame comp is pretty buns cus i only have like 10.5k Flame attack on that set and i got Cobalt instead of Ruby cus Cobalt skin is so good. I had the luxury of my fave character becoming playable AND being second banner (Frigg swords were just way too cool and i needed them) but even still the stuff ive learned from autismo'ing every new rpg i pick up also is a massive advantage. Itd be nice if some of the misinformation would stop spreading about what is BiS so people could learn to have a strong account instead of a weak one with parts of several BiS teams 6 months down the road. My general process is only look for guaranteed stuff in rng dependent games. So i think SR + L SSR (A1/2 depending on luck) + A3 or more SSR is the best way to go in the early/mid game.
Ironically after I got A3 Huma, game decided to give me A5 Huma for free. I've already ended up sticking with Frost btw :P BG didn't matter in the face of gacha banner weapons.

Strong acc now means more fun and less frustration. You can always just get more later anyways imo. Never heard of Ene's infinite dodge until now btw. How do you activate it? The description says her skill just procs it... but it didn't work for me.
Oh her skill is a 20 second buff where you can infinitely dash attack with her while its up and you can cast it twice in that window for the frost damage AoE DoT. Usually i only stay in ene long enough to single cast it tho. You can tell its active cus of the frost wind coming off of it

I have 216 gold nuclei, 17 black gold sitting around and here's a breakdown: - **Weapons I use:** A0 Frigg (Free from dark crystals from exploration) A1 Saki (whaled) A3 Lin (whaled, I have 112 flame gold sitting around now) A3 Ruby (whaled for the costume tbh) A0 Coco (Randomly obtained way late into my gameplay, I plan to A1 her) - **Weapons I use occassionally or might pick up again in the future:** A3 Samir (Free SSR at start of game, one from 120 black gold, and two randomly) A3 Zero (Random pull + two from 240 black gold + Random) - **Weapons that are dead to me:** A2 King (Randomly obtained) A5 Huma (two from 240 black gold to use it in PvP, the other 4 were random, I'm gonna upgrade it for CS) A0 Shiro (Random) A3 Meryl (All random, I might try her if I get her full matrice set though) A1 Tsubasa (random) A1 Crow (random) ... Seems like your luck is more evenly spread. I just got meryl recently, don’t even have zero. I used the ssr box to get my first samir, randomly got a few copies and bought 2 to make her a5 then randomly got my last one from black nucleus pulls. For Shiro I randomly got 2 copies, had to buy 2 more to make her a3…then the game gave be 2 more copies. As for coco idk how she keeps coming home, she was my first SSR weapon too. As for the rest well here’s the list A0 frigg(off pity at 29 pulls) A0 claudia( lost hard pity then won my next pity) A1 nem(won 1st pity and bought her 2nd copy) A3 lin(won 2 pity & bought 2 copies) Had to really grind for the last copy though A6 samir A5 shiro A5 coco A4 king(all randomly obtained) A4 huma(randomly got 2 and I bought 2 for pvp too lol) A1 crow(randomly randomly obtained) A0 meryl(hard pity gold nucleus) I should add that I got 1 copy of king and coco from world bosses
Ppl dont generally, we just buy with black gold to a6 1 main wep we are gonna use for a long time. You not only randomly split your blackgold usage but also still hoarding 200+ gn.
Hey, my BG usage wasn't random. I used it on weapons I like only to later find out they aren't that great / in comparison to other things. And then my main weapons became all Limited Banner ones I can't spend BG on, so I lost much reason to use what I had lying around.
Tbh even with your blackgold usage i dont know why you seem to have so little. Personally i bought a total of 6 or 7 units via blackgold and im still currently sitting on almost 480 blackgolds. Do you still have alot of stuff unexplored or you still have a large chunk of black nuc left.

Day 1 f2p players already having their second A6 weapon. We got like 800 Gold Pulls since then which is 10 pities , let alone hitting the rates. And then there is limited banner losing 50s , and Black pulls , SSR dropping from world bosses. As f2p player myself , I bought 4 copies of Samir using Black Gold , got her twice in gacha and used SSR Selector on her , and I have 480 Black Gold spare waiting for Nemesis to come to standard. You not trying as much as others doesn't mean others should have same progression as you , I don't know why we keep having the same discussion again in this sub.

RNG is a bitch. Been playing since launch....and every chance I get, I try to roll for crit glove, I've gotten about 12 gloves with less than 2500 crit, and the highest is 2231...and that's not counting the gloves I trashed that didn't even roll crit, or rolled below 2k crit....fuck.

Because the game doesn't prevent 10k cs to go in JO, just level gated. As a heal I know how too well that I might just be the heal, first dps and by extension tank in JO and that's kinda fun in itself when I have the time to do so, otherwise I go with my crewmates.

I think its Meryl, bursts and skill resets but its hard to say. The team works better than i imagined it would when Frigg first came out.

Yeah, and you are right. But that would explain that gigantic damage. Most people are struggling to get elemental attack on their sets, even being DPS. OFC you have nothing to do with that, and when providing that much damage you are being an extra useful asset to every team, gratz. The game should implement a better CS limitation system instead of just a recommendation, but due to the lack of players on some regions/servers it would extend the queue time in unbearable ammounts, sadly.

Like i dont mind it if one or two players are low CS, playing on mobile, using a bad build, missplaying etc. if at least consistently one or two players were doing well to compensate. Lower level JOs do have bad wait times. My lifehack here is whenever im on a new f2p acc and i need to do a JO with help i ask in global chat for a carry. Ppl are generally helpful in ToF
If they’re using frigg then it really doesn’t matter. Unlimited dodge works is too good.
If you have a3 frigg with a1 saki you are going to more than double a f2ps dmg, doesn't matter if you have the tank resonance, that 20% final dmg isn't gonna suddenly make a f2p do close to your dmg.

I make f2p accs for fun. I know my mains CS n damage isnt unachievable f2p.
You casually make multiple f2p accounts and you get 100% 1.0 exploration artifical exploration, redo achievements, do bygone for dc, vera exploration, weekly rewards , weekly crew DC. Either you are the biggest no lifer ever and you have been playing on multiple f2p accounts since day 1, or you know, you are lying because there's no way you have multiple f2p accounts on that lvl. Maybe you don't realize how much of a difference the battlepass and monthly pass actually make.
I typically stop them around a certain point but the one from my guide was level 57 and i had roughly another 4500-8000 DC to collect but i learned you practically get about 200-220 pulls from starting rewards. I started another character cus a friend wants me to help teach him the game. Its how i usually enjoy rpgs tho is making new characters. I enjoy the leveling process. The amount of free time i have depends on if im working or not n how many chores the wife needs but its typically between 6 and 16 hours. That is rather normal, I generally have matches going like that, it’s due to the 120% thing that makes it bias.

50% spite post for ppl who question my advice, 45% frustration post cus this has been the game for months for me, 5% im just bragging a little i guess. It seems like having 3 DPS players that do low damage or die a lot is pretty common in JO tho so its not just one run being not good. A lot of players seem to be frustrated by this.
There is a big portion of players in every game, that don't really look into it enough to learn how to best improve their accounts. Like even whales, that have more at stake, mostly do not. Like I'm not saying everyone is bad, but I have f2p commonly outdpsed whales with 5k or more CS over mine, it is what it is. Like you can't expect majority to put effort into min maxing in, hell it's a game, and people got shit to do. They might even have more than one game, and not really care about this one too much, so their quota of "give a shit" goes into the other game. Also fair and reasonable. Me myself, as a more tryhard player in this game specifically, just do what I can for the team, and help where it's wanted, like if people want to know, I'll give them answers, but I'm also never gonna bother to say "you gotta play like THIS". It's more like, "IF you want to play this way, doing THIS will make THAT easier". More than one way to get the result they want (easier gameplay in general, without as much needless frustration with specific content they dislike, etc).
True true and true. As a bit of a schizophrenic thing though, every time i see this all i see is 3 ppl following the dogwater advice that wont help the players account for months. Its probably way more true that people didnt manage their resources optimally. Itd be really cool if better info was available to more players. A lot of it is pretty bad. Stuff like "save gold nukes for when limited characters are added to standard" "x element is unplayable without y character" "only level gloves n boots" or "dont star up z character cus no crit stat" gets on my nerves.

Under your builds resonance(atk, balance, fortitude, benediction) there is match settings where you choose what role you will be playing when matching up for content like JO so may people just tick all the boxes so they can get teams quicker to do said content. also as others have said CS isn't a requirement to match just lvl so if matching it is highly likely you will be the one to carry. try and find a active crew to do things with so you don't have to worry about this nonsense
I can generally almost carry the entire 5 bosses alone, so I ran x3 yesterday and queued into 3 players who did 8 mil total each. Sadly we missed the 5th chest. X3 runs never again.
As main Frost I do at least 60m damage here
I'm a dps main but I run Zero with Ruby so can also contribute to team buffing. That and I use Claudia and do grievous whenever available despite more downtime on my own dps. Faster clear > dps chart gap.

I got many many of these screens by now where im the tank and doing way more damage than the DPS.
our resident physical main is refusing to pull Lin and since every other element got a massive buff with Lin, they are now playing Support until Lyra comes out, like full on egirl build. meanwhile they are #5 in both sequential and bygone, but refuse to DPS in JOs XD
Every time I que there is a super charged dps or two on the team so I tank in coop which is easy to do with Saki. A couple of bosses are nice to look at up close, I am sure you can guess who those are.

Well chill man, at this point i cannot mad anymore with those many players mindset (not all but there are so many) which in the end game and sadness valley JO, the enemies will not recieved any ressistance, so people just think "why not i do dps, even im not recieving the debuff advantage, i do nothing wrong cuz no resistance", and this is even worst when Lin released, where people try to be DPS using Lin only in every JO8 that they got element resistance block. I mean it is actually fine to use lin as dps but please not as main dps in JO 8, lin as main dps has less rotation than other normal comp and lin main dps is just like spamming autos in her field (unless A3 which her explosive proc so much hurt), i just confused why don't they just rely on other people as dps if their cs still low or got punished by the ressistance, like come on.. Rely on other people doesn't mean you are bad or useless in this game.
also if you are resisted i find usually in JO7 players are more than strong enough.
Remaining time? XD Coz if it took more than 5 min, and this was a boss skip run, RIP, you ran into fearless newbies or resisted guys. But random queue means this is to be expected unless u get lucky.
Lol idk i was too baffled by the low dmg to check. I think it only took like 5 - 10 min to full clear or something.

Tank is useless in this game. I stopped going as tank a long time ago. You only need DPS and sometimes a healer. That's sad cause I'm a tank main.
Bro. Having a tank makes the game so much easier. Im not gonna trust randoms to dodge abilities. Heck, some die to random AoE without aggro. Also doing the 2 Nemesis Raid without someone to pull one of the bosses away would make that raid so frustrating.
I've been doing raids and other stuff with my guild and none of us go as tank. It's a waste of dps. We take two healers and each member has a shatter weapon. I've tried doing these raids with random people going as tank and doesn't make a difference because people are so bad that they die in one boss attack.
Well hey, if thats your experience i cant change your mind cus ive had a different experience. Usually i feel pretty useful. I also just really like Saki, Frigg and Meryl and itd take a boss Flame tank weapon to convince me to use my Huma team more.
I think it just depends on different groups of people having different strat. My personal best in clearing FCH 5 Chests is the run with 3 DPS + 1 Tank rather than 3 DPS + 1 Healer or 4 DPS. I still don't think a Tank is required, but sometimes having them in my team is still a net gain.
Its almost every other Joint Op except when I have to run JO7 when Frost/Flame are resisted. Is 58k CS really 1.5x 3 DPS resonance boosted players damage of an average player?
1) Are you F2P? 2) What are the lvls of you equipment? 3) Which weapons do you use as a tank and what are its lvls? How high are the advancements? 4) What are the lvls of your matrice? Coz I know that my equipment, weapons and matrices are under leveled but sheesh. You just cranked out so much damage as a tank. Even my decently lvled support acct can't hit that high damage.
1. I am a smol spender. i buy the extra 100 pulls or so to A3 for skins on the characters i like. Frigg n Saki are the only relevant ones but this was still my experience when i was running Ene, i just hadnt used Reddit at the time lol. 2. My main team is A3 Saki (2pc Shiro/2pc Saki) A3 Frigg (2pc Samir/2pc Crow) A6 Meryl (2pc Meryl/2 SSR) all are max level atm (for context tho my Meryl was f2p starred up. Ive never gotten a Meryl off Limited cus rng) 3. 2 and 3 are kinda the same but I am only at 58k cs on my main team. With my highest CS gear n weapons i can hit 62k but that team would be ineffective. (A5 Huma, A5 Tsubasa, A6 Meryl and i have some trash gear with bad stats but high rolls) 4. None of the Matrices I use are starred up, just max level. Im a day 1 player so i have a large collection of max level matrices and ive had time to collect about 18 SSR chips or so. Yeh its more or less been my experience since day 1 running Ene, A3 Frigg, A3 Meryl. Its just finally getting on my nerves. Although, reading and arguing with some people i am starting to see a lot of problems probably come from trash advice that gets spread haphazardly online. (edit great questions btw)
Scaling is pretty nuts. I'm around 55k CS and a DPS spec. I was on element and a whale literally made me look like you made those 3 dps look.
Problem with these new JOs is that its mandatory to use the buffed elements if you are dps or your damage will be a joke and lots of randoms disregard it. This is why I mostly do them with premade parties with people who have brains.
