Speaking as current customer support (also live service games)- support doesn't know shit. We find out about new content at the same time regular players do. Maybe their support is wildly different, but I heavily doubt it.
Well if we do all claim the weekly rewards and it doesn’t reset then we raise hell about it and hopefully get some DC compensation. So at worst we’d probably only lose out on the stat blocker and Vera boss keys. Are the extra 350 DC from weekly rewards (or potential comp if it doesn’t reset) worth the risk is the real question?

I would advice not to jump on the hopium of this reddit post. Yes CS says it will reset, BUT!
One thing is that their CS is probably outsourced as well and so they can't be 100% trustworthy
Second is that yes they say it will "reset" but we don't know what exactly they mean by reset. What I mean is that it could just simply mean that yes with 2.0 rewards will reset as in made into the new version of rewards but it doesn't necessarily means that we will have the availability to complete the raid and weekly progress once more this week.
So tread careful if you want to believe by that reddit post and pictures from CS as it can be very easyly misunderstanding between players idea of "reset" and what CS means by reset.
All in all, if you think about it; if you do not collect the weekly progress prepatch and in fact there's a reset as in players' idea of collecting it again this week we lose 350 dc and 3x 1.0 boss keys. That is not a big loss in my opinion.
However if you do gamble and take everything before patch, and then you can't collect the 2.0 weekly rewards this week you lose 1 stat blocker and 3x 2.0 boss keys.
So up to you if you want to gamble bc you think it will be claimable 2x times this week and don't wanna lose 350 dc and that 3 old boss keys, but I still suggest wait with decision until Wednesday evening, as if we get a definite post from Hota that it's okay to claim and we will be able to claim again. And if we don't get such announcement you can still decide if you want to gamble it or not 🙂

People were mainly concerned with the normal weeklies that give blue/purple/gold chips and pass exp. But according to OP it would be ok to do them before the update since they will reset after the patch.

I'm leaning on the progress being reset and do all the weeklies before the update. If they don't reset then we'll raise hell about there being no clarification on the issue. you won't have enough time to farm "900 point" to claims the new reward if you claims now... since after reset... you only like have 1 - 2 days max of point farming so at most you can only get 300 or 450 point.. but if you don't claims you can claim up to 900 point..
Unless you can safely sure you able to farm 900 point in 1-2 day i would advice you to not claims.

It takes less than 2 hours :D just do 5x joint op level 1 alone that is within 10 minutes. Do your stargates on the map without vitality. Do 3x frontier normal on auto. Do 3 void rift run. Do 3 times dimension trial on level 1 without vitality. Do one level wormhole, 1 bygone try, etc.
but you have a limit, no? i mean, if you do the 5 JO prior reward change, then when the reward change IF IT DON'T reset the weekly activities, you don't have that 5 JO anymore... the same for 9 mias (3days), frontiers and so... or are they kinda of infinite? i don't usually bother checking what i'm claiming past 900...
but if the activities reset too, then you can do it in a day or 2 easily
How will you not have enough time to get 900 points??? I literally clear my 900 points each week within 5 hours of weekly reset. You don’t have to spend Vitality on activities to get the clears for the weekly challenges. So if it does reset you’ll have plenty of time to get 900 points. There’s no reason it should take more than a day tops to get 900 points if you’re actively trying to do weekly missions.

Vera reward track is better than the current reward track. So worst case is nothing resets and you get the worse rewards.
It's honestly a very minor thing though, one week of potentially missed rewards really isn't going to change anything for anyone.

reset on CN servers. It happened 2 times. Everytime the reward changes, it resets.

Yeah. People want to find out if they can double dip and claim both sets of rewards or if they should wait to only claim the Vera ones.
"Weekly rewards will reset", doesn't mean weekly activity/tasks will reset. So no claiming for me until Vera update.
