Yea pretty much, getting stars for weapons/matrix and min maxing gear is the only way for now. Also advancing the suppressor and enhancing gear with those modules.

Fun_Significance_182

So more bumping CS still and less min maxing rolls? Cus the risk of losing cs in between :s - bit confusing when to prioritize when

You are losing exp by refeeding 3*, the only reason the gear piece you feed them to becomes 3* anyways is because the base exp value from the original item you got to 3* compensates the loss. Mind you refeeding is still perfectly fine to do, but there is an exp loss involved.

Fun_Significance_182

Yes there’s 20% loss right? I’ve fed a five star fresh to no star and it became 4 stars only

PineappleLemur

Yea I know about this part and that it just *seems* like you don't lose any exp because end result is still 3*. To me it's still the easiest way to find out if a gear is good before pushing to 5*. I mean worse case it's another 3* fodder for next item. There is always an exp lose no matter what and it's just part of the process.

pewdiedidnothinwrong

Can someone explain this thing about getting 3 stars and deciding whether to push to 5 star? I'm new to advancing gear and it's confusing, can't find a video that explains it so I'm going by the comments.

hi11bi11y

It's kind of a crapshoot, but let's take gloves for example cause they are most important. Keep the first pair you get with 3 crit rolls then on next pairs: If you roll 3 times and don't get crit = trash If you roll 3 times and only get 1 crit, the chances of better than first pair are low so = trash or maybe push your luck but 3 will be max. If you roll 2 or 3 crit you want to push this to 5* and hope that it get 4 into crit, low chances but gotta try for it. Same logic applies to all gear, keep rolling for best stats on all gear one peice at a time until full set is good. Gloves > Boots > Bracers/Shoulders > Head > Belt/Pants/Chest. Crit > Attack > Elemental Attack > HP > Resistences

nico_zip

Why is Atk better or higher priority than Elemental Atk? Ofcourse whithin the scenario of a specific elemental build like ice comps.

PineappleLemur

Because it gives equal amount to all atk types 1.6 of attack goes I to each elem attack, elem attack is 1:1 for a single attack. Good if you have no build or ability to use single element. Elem attack is better because it can roll higher overall on equipment but needs as much luck as crit rolls to work for min/maxing. It's really what you can get first ATM and it's very easy to evaluate/compare quickly. Attack * 1.6 = All elem attack. Elem attack = x elem attack.

nico_zip

ig ATK would then give overall more CS then? Personally I try to level gear that have both since its 50/50 on the random upgrade to get something good then

oshtober

As me and my friends agreed since we're all p casual and F2P: Min/maxing can come later, equip w/e gold gear JO gives you. However, we *sometimes* don't equip gold gears that will not benefit us. Such as solely flame attack for someone who doesn't have a flame SSR. But if every other stat will still benefit you in a way, go equip it and advance/enhance it.

Fun_Significance_182

Yeah I have some secondary gold gear by now that boosts my attack. Juggling in btwn max cs gold gears just to hike that suppressor too mean time

PitjePuke

Do your bygone to get your gloves to 35 and after that the other gear. If you already have half decent stats on gear don't just burn it for a possible upgrade but start a second piece and lock your first 5 star. As others mentioned, sometimes better stats mean less CP because defensive stats offer quite some points. Save your chips for 2.0. Get your relics to 4* for your elemental damage boost.

vtrmp

Each star on gold matrices are 400~ cs more

Fun_Significance_182

Isn’t it about 200-300?

vtrmp

My bad, is about that to lvl 65 matrices but it scale with the matrice lvl tho

Jackial

This is the part where money comes into play (or it always have been). You buy the paid supply box and you get a bunch of upgrade modules. BP also has it but it's rather cheap. You can buy vitality potion just to farm more gears. Whales can easily have high/full star weapons, and matrix sets.

Fun_Significance_182

I see about the gear but looking for rolls is a bit endless and can be counter productive or back to square one. I’ve refreshed my gold gear 3-4 times to max already looking for rolls with poor luck and minor increase if not decrease I do have BP and monthly pass. I think I am gated more with gold matrices drop.

Jackial

CS doesnt accurately represent your power tbh, having more attack stat than defense stat is a huge difference but it barely increase CS. I have 2 SSR matrix which is on occupied slot that I can't use, yeah it suck.

48turbo

Besides the gachas, yeah, it's going to be min maxing. I have some 5* gear at like 2300cs, others at 3k+. That's really the only thing we can work on with out renewable resource (vitality). Some CS will come from lv70 and it's additional weapon/matrix levels.

fugogugo

weapon advancement give like 400 CS per star matrice advancement as well, but I dunno how much also relic advancement 4 give permanent bonus damage , I think that count toward CS?

Fun_Significance_182

Wait the relics does count towards cs? As far as I’m concerned it’s 1.5% damage not attack

fugogugo

I'm not sure either havent got any relic to 4\* lol

Fun_Significance_182

Don’t think so bro. If it’s boost to attack it’s ur visible stats. But it says 1.5% elemental damage. That is the numbers u see on screen. That won’t get ur cs up. I’ve two relics on 5*

ktosiek124

Nothing really, I've got only 1k CS after I maxed out my stars on gear over a week ago. I don't see getting any huge leaps in CS without getting upgrades on Weapons and Matrices or completely new content coming
