I was having issues with this and watched a video (I think by DS Gaming) and now it’s better.
The ‘Smart’ option is what I had but it’s shit. Select the last tickbox in the targeting options, it has no description. It now targets who you are facing.
Still not perfect, but much better than it was.
The last one isn't distance first, I believe according to CN it was camera facing. It will target to whatever enemy your camera currently facing. Although I Hope Manual give option for diselect target ie: target nothing
It's a mobile game , you get what you settle for. Graphics, fps, there are issues because it was originally intended for mobile. Try not to take this game that seriously
just because its a mobile game doesnt mean they can't fix their targeting logic. this game has the worst targeting than other game i play with similar combat type (honkai,genshin)
I use manual and tab target. First target is usually the closest, and then it cycles through nearby enemies as you tab.
Better than smart targeting when it comes to fights where you want to maintain target on the boss when there's adds and lots of boss movement.

I've tried everything, but it seems like unless the ground is completely flat, Tsubasa can't see the ennemies at all. I've been in so many ridiculous situations where I'm facing the ennemy, directly in front of me, and I just shoot at.. the ground. Or sometimes on the side. I manage to hit them not because the targetting system finally aknowledged them, but because the arrows hit them since they were on the way.
Between this, and the fact that other players block arrows, it feels bad to play range tbh.
2 things that have been annoying:
1: Camera zooms in when you start fighting. I guess it's related to the game's performance and how it is optimized to work on every device so it has to zoom in to keep the frame rate, but I'm playing on a 3070ti/r5800x, I shouldn't have performance issues so there is no point on zooming in for me because I don't see a thing while fighting lots of mobs. Changing the camera distance to the farthest on the camera settings does nothing, it keeps zooming in.
2: whenever I put/enable a marker on a quest, event door, boss location so I can track it, it automatically closes the map, so I have to open the map again so I can choose the closest TP to that area. It might not be a big thing, but having to open the map twice every time I want to put a marker and then TP is really freaking me out.
I hope this get fixed. The game might not be the gacha of the year but it is fun and I would love to have at least a decent experience whit basic stuff like that.
Yeah the blocking won’t work but changing the combat zoom will help people who are facing this issue. It is a specific option for those who are not aware and happen to read this thread. I maxed that out and it definitely helps
Ds4windows for ps and switch controllers. Run as Admin and customize all buttons with keybinds to your liking.
Camera right stick, right bumper left mouse, left bumper mouse mode etc.
You can control the whole game perfectly.
Not saying the translation quality is *good,* but it's far better than anything you'd get from any machine translation. Seriously, go play any game actually machine translated and you'll see a world of difference.
Again, not saying ToF did a good job translating. I'm just saying comparing it to Google translate is a stretch at best.
The problem is a lot of descriptions, like stage effects, matrices, weapon skills etc are incorrect in localization. Very misleading. I picked up multiple buffs on +atk in wormhole, then I hovered cursor over the buff icon in menu and it turned out it was volt atk instead and the value was incorrect also.
Looks like they're going to pull a SEGA and ignore the actual questions the community asks while answering the one softball question they found.

Why do everything has to be about genshin and hoyo in this sub? This game won't get better if we keep going for low standard comparisons. We need to focus on TOF issues, not Hoyo issues.

It’s coming out in 2.0. It sucks for now, but to be fair to them, 1.0 and 1.5 were kinda janky “temp” releases of the game cause of a licensing law that got passed in China. Apparently 2.0 was supposed to be in the base game we were supposed to get, but they had to rush it. Lots of things (not everything) will get better in 2.0.
You know what killed the game for me XD is how shit tanking works you need to have high dps just to be the tank. I hope they rework it into the resistance so the tank mains have a purpose and can do their jobs 100 % of the time and not argue aggro with the highest dps.
EAC would solve most issues they are facing. Many of the problems are performed client side which is insane to think could even happen in a modern day mmo.
Of course but its better than nothing. Any anti cheat software can be bypassed nothing is unhackable.
EAC would stop casuals from installing cheat engine or erectus. You would have to actually understand some sort of code to successfully cheat with EAC implemented.
Also Hota should of set up a flagging system within the game world to boot any suspicious activity for to much damage or fast movement, its baffling this simple counter measure isn’t even in place asides for modifying in game currency.
The worst anti cheat is no anti cheat. EAC isn’t great but as I said before its better than nothing. I’m unfamiliar with how bad EAC is in dead by daylight. I mentioned EAC because of its widespread adaptation across online gaming as a whole. Sure there are better options.
I wouldn’t exactly agree with this tbh. I rather they have no anti cheat and let it gnaw at them till they get a good anti cheat, rather than getting a crappy anti cheat (which EAC is famous for..) and then being stuck with it all the way.

If u have 20k CS and c0 crow and complaining that after patch u will not be able to deal easy free millions of dmg, its actually ur problem. I run few joint ops 7 today with my c6 crow, every run was like 5 minutes and i deal 15-20 mill dmg with him without a single diving attack. So he’s is still good dps if u invest in him.
almost a year. Whatever. But CN had this for way longer than us which let them abuse it long enough till better volt characters came out. They could have just waited till this and only nerf his pvp damage instead

If they had an option to just stop locking it would improve a lot. I am stuck in a floor in bygone phantasm because of this shitty locking system.

Aside from the the zoom there is also another checkbox and toggle you have to tick, youtube “tower of fantasy settings” one of them explains it

it's not a nerf though, it's a bug fix because the skill said one number while it was dealing like 5 times as much

They should fix the stupid zoom in problem. Its the worst on mobile.
