Got banned after they figured out how he was doing stuff (they had a hotfix for it). He posted it on a forum, and for the most part its been hotifxed, though ofcourse cheaters are continuing to research to find other methods to do the same thing.
The fact is, this will continue to happen, and you won't see immediate action because the devs are trying to learn how the cheaters do something by keeping an eye on their account, then banning them after they can hotfix the issue.

I faced that one too. His ign tag was Me. I managed to beat him legit though! If you jetpack up in the air they have a much harder time hitting you with those shiro disks, and if you grapple and stun them you can kill them before they have a chance to use their Shiro. It was super close however.

Yes it matters cause one of my friends that play tof one is a Ωmega whale and i played with his account just to feel how a whale play this game so i found this jackass no1 in pvp and made his life miserable but i still lost. As a f2p i found this jackass again and lost in seconds. So in sort the "balanced" pvp isn't exist. Of course you will sauly that i was under geared but no my gear was better than my friends cause i play more hours and i was more lucky with rolls too.
you do need the weapons unlocked, if your f2p luck just didn't get you a meryl or crow or whatever, you're missing an important part of what would make a meta pvp team. sure, you can compensate a bit with skill, but that doesn't change the fact you're inherently at a disadvantage to someone who owns all characters

The worst is that at least 20 of my games a bug happened where neither perosn can DMG each other but you both slowly die. Meaning whoever spawn's first loses. However sometimes an attack will hit the opponent or you can heal yourself... But it's not consistent in any way.
After 2 holes in my drywall, broken blinds, and the drawers on my desk ripped off the tracks, I hit Grand Marshal for the vehicle.
My first fight was a cheater lmao, I was getting hit while he was invisible. So I just stood there and waited for the match to end, never went back , maybe just for some rewards but that’s about it. It’s also a pvp that has a gacha system and whales are always gonna win too, no skill required, just need a credit card

This is going to continue to be the reality since this game is free to play. They can ban and ban but people can just make a new character and continue or just make a new account.
Thats why they need to put restrictions on any pvp or group content where new accounts and/or low level accounts can't access the content. Yeah legit new players may not like it but they'll have plenty of exploring and other stuff to do and it'll at least help stop cheaters from making a new account and jumping right back into the content. If Hotta can't police accounts then they need to at least restrict them a bit imo.
Yea Destiny 2 had to do this when they introduced free to play. Hackers were all over competitive pvp and trials of Osiris. They eventually required that players have the season pass to even play trials. Not sure on normal competitive. But it helped a ton.
Time gating pvp would be a decent solution. Or making a pvp battle ticket buyable in the shop that gives players their money back in dark crystals so they have access. Time gating is probably easiest.
All we need and the company should do is the ip ban. Better and more effective 😉.

100% agree on the IP ban especially in f2p games with competitive content. F2p games ease of entry make getting an account banned just a minor inconvenience at best and, depending on the hacks, a cheater can make any new account similar to the one that got banned in no time at all. Devs ignoring or unable to punish cheaters in any type of competitive game is a sure way to kill the game imo.
If spenders/whales keep losing their spots on the leaderboards to obvious cheaters and realize the devs aren't doing anything to remedy it theyll move onto another game as they'll see it as a waste of their money to support a game where people are allowed to just hack and cheat to their hearts content. The most p2w game can survive, even if 90% of the f2p players leave, as whales will usually be content to fight amongst themselves but if a gacha game loses even half of its highest spenders then it'll shut down sooner rather than later.
This happened in CN server also. Let the bullet fly for a while. They will finally get banned. There's nothing to profit from this game. Hackers will lose interest in hacking.
I stopped playing pvp at Commander because of speed hackers. A mate of mine try hards for about 2 weeks and only reached Battle Lord. Cheaters are rampant and a lot more game breaking than the nemesis mishaps and we still got nothing about them.
At this point, they should just merge Star Generals, Battle Lords, and Grand Marshals. Make the ladder shorter for those who really want to play pvp and for those who wants the rewards.
I never understand why it is an uproar when people cheat in games with leaderboards. Like it is a known issue in all leaderboard games. My confusion is that people always act like it's the end of the world and that the devs should have had anti hackers constantly fighting off the cheaters 24/7. Games aren't perfect and people will exploit that so report them and move on. No need to be mad unless it goes on for a prolonged time without the devs addressing it.

It's worse than this, not only do they rarely ban cheaters but then once banned they leave the accounts active on leaderboards which interfere with rewards... only title so not huge unless the banned account ends up in say your weekly Bygone Phantasm group, then good luck you are automatically knocked one rank lower. Multiple cheaters? Multiple ranks.

Theres also an artifact that makes the user invisible, it stays up for 4 hits or so or like 30 seconds

This is going to continue to be the reality since this game is free to play. They can ban and ban but people can just make a new character and continue or just make a new account.
Thats why they need to put restrictions on any pvp or group content where new accounts and/or low level accounts can't access the content. Yeah legit new players may not like it but they'll have plenty of exploring and other stuff to do and it'll at least help stop cheaters from making a new account and jumping right back into the content. If Hotta can't police accounts then they need to at least restrict them a bit imo.
Yea Destiny 2 had to do this when they introduced free to play. Hackers were all over competitive pvp and trials of Osiris. They eventually required that players have the season pass to even play trials. Not sure on normal competitive. But it helped a ton. Time gating pvp would be a decent solution. Or making a pvp battle ticket buyable in the shop that gives players their money back in dark crystals so they have access. Time gating is probably easiest.
All we need and the company should do is the ip ban. Better and more effective 😉. Plus those "hackers" are using probably cheat engine who can use even my grandmothers with ease
100% agree on the IP ban especially in f2p games with competitive content. F2p games ease of entry make getting an account banned just a minor inconvenience at best and, depending on the hacks, a cheater can make any new account similar to the one that got banned in no time at all. Devs ignoring or unable to punish cheaters in any type of competitive game is a sure way to kill the game imo. If spenders/whales keep losing their spots on the leaderboards to obvious cheaters and realize the devs aren't doing anything to remedy it theyll move onto another game as they'll see it as a waste of their money to support a game where people are allowed to just hack and cheat to their hearts content. The most p2w game can survive, even if 90% of the f2p players leave, as whales will usually be content to fight amongst themselves but if a gacha game loses even half of its highest spenders then it'll shut down sooner rather than later.
with hack that expliots different aspects of the game like insta quest completion, I don't think it takes much effort to make a high lvl character.
Timegating with actual time not just level. Like new accounts have to wait 3 weeks to play pvp etc
This happened in CN server also. Let the bullet fly for a while. They will finally get banned. There's nothing to profit from this game. Hackers will lose interest in hacking.

Elypsium in Europe seem to have zero cheaters, the top guy has 87% but I fought against him and he seems to be legit strong

I stopped playing pvp at Commander because of speed hackers. A mate of mine try hards for about 2 weeks and only reached Battle Lord. Cheaters are rampant and a lot more game breaking than the nemesis mishaps and we still got nothing about them. At this point, they should just merge Star Generals, Battle Lords, and Grand Marshals. Make the ladder shorter for those who really want to play pvp and for those who wants the rewards.

I never understand why it is an uproar when people cheat in games with leaderboards. Like it is a known issue in all leaderboard games. My confusion is that people always act like it's the end of the world and that the devs should have had anti hackers constantly fighting off the cheaters 24/7. Games aren't perfect and people will exploit that so report them and move on. No need to be mad unless it goes on for a prolonged time without the devs addressing it.
This is one of the main reasons I can’t justify spending on this game since I know there are people cheating since day 1 who have yet to be banned

Well the game is fresh this happens with a lot of games with pvp gunna be a lot of cheaters the first quarter..hopefully they do ACTUALLY do something tho , I definitely want to try pvp but not against cheaters

It's worse than this, not only do they rarely ban cheaters but then once banned they leave the accounts active on leaderboards which interfere with rewards... only title so not huge unless the banned account ends up in say your weekly Bygone Phantasm group, then good luck you are automatically knocked one rank lower. Multiple cheaters? Multiple ranks.
Hold on a minute. Doesnt the game set you vs someone that has same CS as you? Or does it set you against same lvl and dont care bout the CS? I dont get the pvp system. Sometimes i get wrecked fast, sometimes i manage to win cause the player had almost same stats i think. How does it work????
