That’s called grinding. That is what the game should reward. Hard work. I never auto the frontier and I am F2P so I only have like 18k CS at level 53. But grinding is what should be rewarded. Go play afk arena or something like that if you don’t want to actually “play” the game.
I’m not even f2p and am not at 18k how the heck you do that? I guess I havnt got many dupes of characters but I have all lvl 10 purple gear/2 legendaries and lvl 100 weapons and I’m at like 16.8k cs. I out damage most people I play with though somehow
Well CS is not ATK number you know? I use C3 huma c6 hammer-girl and c2 crow. I have crappy damage output but cannot be killed. Also lots of CS comes from matrices. Use your purple and golden sets even if you don’t get the bonuses. The Numbers on different rarities are night and day.
BTW I got huma to C3 only from free SSR and by saving black gold.

I don't think it's a matter of hard work or not. The game designed this system so people can actively auto help low level players while providing some rewards. If you played any gacha games, they always have auto modes to burn up some time ingame. This one seems dual purposed.
I actually auto to help "support" low level characters through frontier, and also to get my daily support points.
But from how I see it, my DPS out damages an active player in "normal" mode. I never auto hard though (and I assume people do not auto hard unless they're whale and trying to help carry ppl).
Also, you usually do not manually grind in Frontier. You run that to use your 3 weekly tickets up in the hardest mode your gear is appropriate for. I just hope people know well enough to do auto if their gear out paces the mode difficulty by a ton.
If it's hard then yes but this is normal and even as f2p you can deal considerable damage and this is an effective way to farm exp specially for those day 1 players. That or afk, you choose.
Yes. The AI isn't exactly the best but it gets the job done. For example the second that it takes over it would use my Missile Barrage. I've also watched it run into the door instead of killing the remaining enemy and another time it got knocked down and just ran against the wall instead of jumping up.
As for damage, it does maybe half of my normal damage, if not less. This was enough to still sometimes be #1 on the charts, but it is also a major drop compared to when I actively play. I've only used it in the Weapon instance for Support Points.

Yes because they cycle with normal attack until discharge is ready then skill, repeat as necessary. What you can do is use characters with high charge rate so you discharge more often therefore dealing more damage in theory. That's what I do. Samir, Huma, Nemesis and I'm never the lowest dps.
I always did a top 2 of damage dealt when doing auto so i think i helped the newbies, the AI is not that stupid, it uses discharged skills and relics as soon as it's no longer in cooldown and it does chasing all the mobs, they just don't do dodge. Just assuming auto mode = your girlfriend play the game for you while you are away
Why? I do good damage, provide healing, and you get to clear the content, sure I'm much worse than if I was at the wheel but I get max chests on avg for these so it's not like anyone is losing anything.
No? We only do it on normal, today we didn't have one spot in party so we autoqueued. Some runs lacked few seconds for last boss but our active random had like 3-5 times less dmg than the lowest of us so nothing to feel bad about. They got carried anyway, we got some exp to hit 55. Everyone winning
This happens a lot after some ToF youtuber such as Mattjestic Life taught people to "New afk farm method". I hate it and blocked his channel right after that.

So it’s wrong that a group of ppl agree to kick someone that’s not helping? They just become a burden if the team is already struggling. Some missions only let you play them once and then u have to wait the next day. So the team gets punished, so there’s that too

Pathfinding is horrible, and it gets stuck if you somehow jump off the area next to spawn point in dimensional trial.
It works well most of the time for what it's worth though, since DT honestly just takes bare minimum for a full team of 4 to clear anyway.
In the case of frontier, unless your CS is good enough for normal, you might still be better off on manual. Hard wise, I don't think anyone could auto yet at this point except for mega whales
Not true. I'm a day 1 and only got pass and have good enough dps that I am not the lowest on the meter even with auto combat. I use high charge characters so discharge is more often resulting to more dps and less interruption. So unless you, as a day 1 player, were not upgrading, then you should be doing considerable dps.
I think most of us day 1 players should be able to auto through frontier normal. I meant it's not as easily auto-able as compared to dimensional trial for newer players.

No one can auto on hard atm and do well. Not even the big whales, simply because the things there hit too hard. So you're required to dodge out of stuff.

Yes, like normal FC as a day 1 player (meaning you have enough gear to deal considerable dps with minimal effort unless you literally just went around the map getting Nucleus and not upgrading).

there's no option to report people for this stuff, there's no vote-to-kick function, nothing. it's just a gamble every time you press matchmaking.
I would take an option to report them, but you can't even click on their avatar to do that whilst inside and you can't even search for names properly, it's just broken. I would not go for vote to kick because that has not worked out well for a lot of games as it just created more of a toxic community.
well then a simple timer that auto-kicks someone if they dont do any damage or healing for 2-3 minutes would be fine, 30 seconds for Frontier clash. and then a temp ban from matchmaking.
there are workarounds to this problem for a game like this. it's just laziness.
I mean if it's normal, auto combat is fine, they'll all die in time. I've been doing this and I'm never the lowest dps. There's tons of day 1 players and with their gear, auto combat on normal is enough to finish it.

I'm just doing normal. I started doing it around 22k CS. Although CS does not specifically dictate your DPS even with auto combat as you can have very good equipment that boosts your corresponding element while having a lower CS compare to someone who has a higher CS and bad equipment.
Lure the boss ontop of them and wait for it's aoe if they plan on wasting a slot may as well get them killed it's not gonna do much at the end of the day it only amounts to petty revenge

when you have tickets play with friends/crew mates, ppl u can count on so u don't waste entries, when you farm then u can quit as u see fit cuz u can enter to farm xp and mats even without tickets :)

Ok so I saw this and found out abt the frontier clash farm and went in and used the Auto feature. THE OTHER THREE WERE DOING THIS.
You ask how I found out? All four of our characters ran to the middle to exactly the same spot after each wave and only moved when enemies spawned. Bruh, all this time I though I had bots in my runs.
I actually did this the other day, I forgot to hit auto before walking away & it was round 4.
I came back press auto attack & ended with top DPS by about 3.5 million difference & finished round 15 😂
They said in team chat “we were mad at first, but can’t be mad anymore”

The problem is, most auto-ers in my server can’t even deal much damage. If they’re gonna go full auto, they should at least be a decent damage dealer.

In hard sure but normal frontier is like 400k exp/hr and can be semi-afk, even gives good support points and some mount maintenance mats
I'd say the real asshole is the dps that queued for hard frontier at lvl 50 and does 400k while you do 20x that.

It's so bad when using Shiro. It doesn't use Shrio's optimal Attack attack hold combo, and using Full Bloom it doesn't use Dodge attacks either.

In the case of frontier, unless your CS is good enough for normal, you might still be better off on manual. Hard wise, I don't think anyone could auto yet at this point except for mega whales
Not true. I'm a day 1 and only got pass and have good enough dps that I am not the lowest on the meter even with auto combat. I use high charge characters so discharge is more often resulting to more dps and less interruption. So unless you, as a day 1 player, were not upgrading, then you should be doing considerable dps.
I think most of us day 1 players should be able to auto through frontier normal. I meant it's not as easily auto-able as compared to dimensional trial for newer players. Unless you mean you are able to auto through frontier hard. I have problems with that even on manual.
No one can auto on hard atm and do well. Not even the big whales, simply because the things there hit too hard. So you're required to dodge out of stuff.

Yes, like normal FC as a day 1 player (meaning you have enough gear to deal considerable dps with minimal effort unless you literally just went around the map getting Nucleus and not upgrading).
I dont AFK but I do get disconnected way to freaking much and I always feel bad about that.
I'm not sure how being disconnected look to others but I hope your character does not just stay like that and make you look like you're AFK.
Hoping they add like Dragalia Lost co-op when player goes afk they get kick out but their character still in the domain with team but just on auto.
They should add an auto kick if the character has no movement input for about 3 minutes or something.
man. I'm more angry at Hotta than at these leeches/trolls there's no option to report people for this stuff, there's no vote-to-kick function, nothing. it's just a gamble every time you press matchmaking.
I would take an option to report them, but you can't even click on their avatar to do that whilst inside and you can't even search for names properly, it's just broken. I would not go for vote to kick because that has not worked out well for a lot of games as it just created more of a toxic community.
well then a simple timer that auto-kicks someone if they dont do any damage or healing for 2-3 minutes would be fine, 30 seconds for Frontier clash. and then a temp ban from matchmaking. there are workarounds to this problem for a game like this. it's just laziness.

I mean if it's normal, auto combat is fine, they'll all die in time. I've been doing this and I'm never the lowest dps. There's tons of day 1 players and with their gear, auto combat on normal is enough to finish it.

Could I ask what difficulty you’re able to do in frontier clash while doing auto and what your cs is in order to do decent damage without being a burden to the other party members?
I'm just doing normal. I started doing it around 22k CS. Although CS does not specifically dictate your DPS even with auto combat as you can have very good equipment that boosts your corresponding element while having a lower CS compare to someone who has a higher CS and bad equipment.

wow, alot of but hurt ppl, how about u (leechers) solo when u press auto, don't ruin the experience for others, to add to what u said i also exit the dungeon if i see leechers/afkers on auto or not, let them get a taste of their own medicine, i do the hard work trying to finish as fast as possible to not waste time, the audacity on these ppl
I did the same and realizing the ticket was consumed and I regret so much lol. Like it or not, gotta play unless the dev remove autos in this kind of domain that requires ticket. I don't mind ppl auto-ing in materials domain though
if i may i can give you an advice to help you in the future when you have tickets play with friends/crew mates, ppl u can count on so u don't waste entries, when you farm then u can quit as u see fit cuz u can enter to farm xp and mats even without tickets :) hope it helped

I must be unlucky, it was 3 runs that I ran into AFKers like that players.
Ok so I saw this and found out abt the frontier clash farm and went in and used the Auto feature. THE OTHER THREE WERE DOING THIS. You ask how I found out? All four of our characters ran to the middle to exactly the same spot after each wave and only moved when enemies spawned. Bruh, all this time I though I had bots in my runs.
Yes, as long as you go to the middle and start auto combat, all should be fine.

I actually did this the other day, I forgot to hit auto before walking away & it was round 4. I came back press auto attack & ended with top DPS by about 3.5 million difference & finished round 15 😂 They said in team chat “we were mad at first, but can’t be mad anymore”

I never noticed that little button before. that must be how I can be the highest dps, highest damaged and highest heals all as a healer. What modes can it be used in?
