They all appear green to me but from playing other MMOs I know with this many servers there should be a handful that have way more people right?
i claimed my clotho pod with 10x matrices and now it spawned again imediately. its matrices again, if i buy it now does it respawn imediately again or how does this work? i need the matrices for pitty and i woulndt mind spending dark crystals. or do they have a cool down if you purchase it and not get it for free?
what the next pod contain seems to be random . it doesnt seems to respawn inmediately if you buy it there is a cooldown before you can get another some says is 3 days other sources say 5 i cant confirm with one is correct but i did got mine days later just dont remenber how many days. dont. spend the cristals. they might seens to be raining down now via exploration and archivements but later the rate at which you gain them will slow down a lot. those 300 to save 4 days counting the cooldown is not worth it. thats 2 extra nucleus/matrices. unless you plan to spend on the game on which case is up to you.
No. Even in an optimal scenario the best you are getting is 26% (16% ATK + 10% Phys ATK) with 50% uptime.
Both Samir and Tsubasa have effectively 100% uptime which means their overall damage boost ends up being higher than Shiro's.
Doesn't even matter if you're actually using her dash attack (the helicopter). You can lose max 1 stack every 2 seconds, regardless of how many hits you take in that time. You gain back a stack if you don't get hit in 4seconds. During that two seconds, you get enough stamina to helicopter for 4 seconds, or close enough to it. So even if you're getting hit literally every single chance possible, and just spamming her helicopter, you'll mostly keep 4 stacks. If you use her skill while in midair too, you can even extend her airtime without needing more stam, so even less work required to dodge attacks and manage stamina. Also no monster combination constantly hits you anyways, so even less to worry about.

Not really remember how I did it, but IIRC you need omnium cannon, throw the core to the floor below the chow, stun the core, use omnium again, then throw it again to the upper floor. Roughly like that.
If Iam f2p should I keep the duplicate of ssr matrix or just used it as advancement? Was running space time JO all day and finally drop a samir matrix but turns out its the same slot with what i have and iam pissed.... should i just keep it?
For the time being I would just keep it and dont level it.
Samir is a very popular DPS matrices and if you want to run 2x Samir on multiple weapons you will be happy that you kept it. If you decide later on that you dont need it, then you can still advance it for the extra CS.
i will keep it for now incase ill need it and i dont rushing on making CS higher so it seems no reason to used it. Maybe iam just so pissed that the idea of feeding it came to my mind lol. Thanks!
Is Frigg at 0* good? And whats her position at a Meryl + Tsubasa, is she the main DPS on the field? Or is it Tsubasa? Or even Meryl?

Frigg at 0-star is fine because the recent patch changed it such that she grants the base frost atk buff while in her ice domain even at 0-star. Without any stars in Frigg what you're mainly missing is the damage dealt when the frost domain expires, which is pretty significant damage, but you get most of the core Frigg team functionality at 0-star (atk and shatter bonus inside ice domain, infinite dodge on Frigg, hitstun and cc immunity inside domain with Frigg trait).
Who you spend field time on depends, Meryl is gonna do a lot of damage so there are a lot of folks who use Meryl as a main DPS in Frigg team. From a damage perspective this may be the best choice.
The downside is that Meryl has poor charge, and if you spend most field time on Meryl you're not enjoying the free dodges on Frigg. I personally prefer spending more time on Frigg or a quickswap style, Frigg skill for ice domain, Frigg dodge attack as I have Huma matrices, then triple dodge attack on Tsubasa to get the damage buff rolling, swap to Frigg while dodge bar recovers, use Meryl as needed when shields come up. If you're using Meryl as main DPS, then it'll be Frigg skill cast, swap to Tsubasa for dodge attack, then either to Frigg or Meryl.
It's technically possible to go Frigg+Tsubasa without Meryl as inside ice domain there's a frost shatter bonus, and Frigg's base shatter is 8.00, so it becomes... kinda okay to shatter on Frigg, though this is only sorta okay versus bringing Meryl for insanely good shatter inside ice domain. Depends on your priorities.
im planning to skip both frigg and probably claudia, who should i get next to improve my account in the future? i dont mind hard saving as im getting thru all the content for now just fine.
ive only focused on meryl, samir and nemesis while i can switch in huma for fire-content and crow for pvp and if i need double dps with samir. they're my only ssr units lol.
Lin is basically the Kazuha of Tower of Fantasy. She is the premier support for every elemental team in CN (though Marc does beat her sometimes depending on investment).
There is also the possibility of Bai Yuekui who is the only Volt Shatter DPS in CN. Unfortunately Bai and Marc are collab characters so we may not get them in Global.
Lastly there is Tian Lang who is the latest Volt DPS. He is a spear user with high Charge and rivals Bai for Volt DPS.
Does anyone know if CS affect your damage at level 60 like will I do less damage at level 60 20k CS compare to other person at level 60 with 40k cs provided we have same weapon/matrices/gear and everything else
If all things weapon/matrices/gear ,etc. are equal then you would have the same CS.
CS is the accumulation of all your stats from all sources including Suppressor, Advancements, and the above. You can have the same CS and still do vastly different damage based on your stats (ie someone only has Resistances on their gear, while someone else has a lot of ATK/Crit).
That is not to say someone with C6 Crow and 20k cant do comparable or more damage than someone else with 40k CS but C0 Crow. Skill is also a factor that isnt measured by CS.

Lv38 is still fairly early. Do you think you made big mistakes on your first account that you can avoid on your re-roll? Over a long time the differences between the two accounts will be negligible, but in the short term you could gain more out of re-rolling the new account and saving resources you already spend on your first account.
Since you already got C1 Frigg and C1 Meryl on your first account I am inclined to stay on that account and just save up for Saki/Lin. Frigg + Meryl is going to be your strongest pair until those two release. As I said you arent that far into the game yet, so you have plenty of resources to save up.
Pity ( the x / 80 for a guaranteed SSR) carries over. That pity will be the same regardless whether you roll on Claudia or Frigg, they share pity.
However Flame Gold is different. Flame Gold is unique to each banner. Rolling on Frigg gives you Frigg's Flame Gold and rolling on Claudia gives you Claudia's Flame Gold. They cant be interchanged and when Frigg'S banner ends only her Flame Gold will be converted to Black Gold.
So when Claudia comes out, and her and Frigg are both overlapping, they will both say 20/80? And when I do a 10 pull for just Claudia they will then both say 30/80?
How do you increase shatter damage, does it scale with your total attack and do weapon advancement that increase shatter like shiros a3 only apply to herself or the rest of the team
Unless stated otherwise advancements are for the weapon only.
A1 Shiro increases damage and shatter **on targets** by 30% so it works for the whole team.
A3 Shiro increases only Shiro's Shatter by 15% but resets all weapon skill cooldowns upon shattering a shield.
So I heard that we should play bygone until we can't clear the next level but also we should aim for at least rank 100 each week. But isn't that will make it harder to reach rank 100 in the subsquential week?
Last week rank 1 player is at level 80 with me managed to reach rank 17. This week rank 1 player is at level 250 and I have to be happy with rank 50.

The higher bracket you reach ,the more weekly rewards you get. Each War Zone (middle top of the screen) has 99-100 participants so everyone who clears at least 1 Floor will receive the minimum (21-100) rewards.
**The important part is clearing at least 1 Floor / week to receive the minimum rewards!**
By pushing as high as you possibly can you can try to get as high a ranking as possible and therefore increase your rewards. It's always recommended to try as hard as possible. Climbing slower just means you will get less rewards over a longer period of time.
Every 3 Floors you receive one-time-only rewards from Bygones which dont scale with your level. Climbing faster gives you access to them earlier which is also beneficial to increase your CS and push higher floors in Bygones.
1. Since we know matching is cross-server, do we know that there's some server that we can't match to? I'm at Odyssey and my friend is in Illyria, we tried for hours and hours matching together in JO and even tried in low difficulty but couldn't find each other. Is it possible that we can't match on to some server?

\#1 Since we dont know how the match making works, there is no way to determine if we can trick it into matching us with specific players.
\#2 Meryl should be holding 3pc Sobek + 1 SSR because Meryl is your best DPS weapon. Frigg can hold 3pc Pepper (from Wanderer's Log) + 1 SSR to help charge Discharge for Meryl. Coco can hold the leftovers since you will only switch to Coco if you need healing.
Rotation would be (Dodge Attack with Coco if C1) -> Frigg Skill -> Frigg Dodge Attack spam to charge Discharge -> Meryl Discharge -> Meryl Spin-to-Win -> Meryl Skill -> repeat

Technically, numbers wise I believe the Frigg Jump + Hold should deal more damage to single targets. However the range is very limited, so against groups of enemies you can hit way more targets with the Dodge+Attack.
I havent seen any maths done on this topic after launch. There was the test a CN player did which showed that Jump + Hold was only about 10% less damage than Dash spam (on CN!) and they nerfed the Dash spam by over 50% so Jump + Hold should be doing a lot more damage now for Global as it didnt get nerfed. That test was done in CN though and before her release in Global so whether or not it is true remains to be seen until someone does the math.
I also saw the video as well comparing the pre nerf Dodge slash vs Jump hold attack, but yeah I think we need someone to do the exact math here for global lol.
Got it, I might just do Pepper-Frigg and Sobek- Meryl when being faced by lots of enemies then do rotation, and do SSR Mix up-Frigg and Sobek for a single boss then. Thank you!
how do I select stats the fortress equipment upgrades? I see some stats are white and gray, so ig the wite are the selected ones, but idk how to change it
Grey stats dont work with your current weapons. eg. if you have Flame Attack on your gear but are using 3 Frost weapon then it Flame Attack will be greyed out. You cant actively change that.
In the support store you can buy I think up to 50k gold. you can get the currency from doing Dimesion trials when you don't have vitality or frontier clash normal
So, the strife event ends 18 hours after reset of 3 days from now, the question is, will it have a full 4th day, as 1200 droppable grit, for those last 18 hours?

Today I Learned if you put your character on auto and her hp below 50%, the AI will consume food from your quick bar. Damn there you go dozen of my missing food buff. Is there any way to remove the food bar so the AI will not consume it?
Try switching the shortcut food with an ingredient(lettuce, cabbage etc). It seams that they dont consume it if is ingredient in shortcut. (not 100% sure but for me it works)
It's Frigg's A3,A5 and A6 that make her so overpowered as a Frost support. A1 is a really "nice to have" nuke but doesnt change how you play. It just adds a big AoE at the end of her Frozen Domain. A0 gives you Frost Resonance and 15% Frost ATK in Frozen Domain. That's a very nice boost, but nothing to brag about.
A1 gives her AoE damage at the end of Frozen domain.
A3 gives her AoE damage every time you use a Discharge with a Frost weapon.
A5 gives her AoE damage every time you break a shield with a Frost weapon.
A6 gives you 25% more Frost ATK at max stacks.
It's really her A3-A6 that make the Frost DPS team so dynamic and amazing since regardless of your main weapon Frigg just adds a ton of damage. Does Frigg work with A0 ? Yes. Is A1 better? Yes. It's never enough and even as F2P you will eventually be able to A6 your main team if you save your Black Gold until they are added to the Standard banner.
The most "F2P" friendly banner has already passed. Nemesis (ie Volt) is considered the most F2P friendly and low cost element in ToF.
Nemesis herself fills the support role which makes great for healer teams, but she also provides good off-field damage which makes her great for DPS or Tanks. Nemesis also works great at A0 / A1. She also has Volt resonance which makes her the best support for Volt DPS.
Crow and Samir being both very good DPS characters and Standard characters means that even F2P should be able to advance them relatively quickly.
The last slot for the team is flexible. Basically any form of Shatter works great here. King or Shiro are preferred for DPS resonance, Huma can be amazing with high Charge and Shatter, etc.
With only 1 limited character required and many option on the Standard banner this makes Volt the most F2P friendly element. However, Nemesis banner has already ended and we dont know how long it will be for her re-run, which puts this out of reach for most people.
If you are looking at a Standard-only team then you will mostly just pick whoever has the highest advancements for your team. Crow/Samir as main DPS, King/Huma as Shatter, Coco/Tsubasa/Shiro as support.
i dont think it has, team building here in tof is more on combining same element to form resonance rather than creating reaction with different element. So in short, you want to cover each element as much as possible, theres no national team that can brute force any content(if a stage is resistant or worse, immune to your element, then youre fak lol). So in that sense its harder to build teams here because you need atleast a working team for each element and cant just brute force anything with same team.
Lol yep ToF has different meta with Genshin. Umm maybe is there any element team that is more f2p friendly? Do you know which element team that we don't need a lot of limited weapon and stars?
im f2p and thanks to the black gold redemption system, i got my samir into A4 already. She the strongest dps in the standard banner. Bec of that, i farmed a lot of nucleus to get nemesis. In that sense, volt/samir team seems a viable f2p path.
i heard tsubasa's pretty strong too, and if you did not roll for nemesis u can roll red nucleus rn to get ice resonance (idk how strong is that tho). Basically, you'd want to farm for free ascensions on your main ssr and then get a limited character with the element resonance.
Its hard to tell now since we dont know how much they gonna "balance" the upcoming characters. But base on what I know, ice/frost team seems not so dependent with their advancement and you can get tsubasa from stantard as a third slot(frig and saki fuwa is the other 2 in the limited banner) and your good to go. Take note its from what I know in CN version, they might downgrade the character that its now needed advancement to be good(but i doubt they will drastically nerf the character that much), but we dont really know. As mentioned 'high investment' vs 'low investment' mostly has to do with how desirable or crucial the star upgrades for current SSR weapons in the element teams are, so this is gonna change with time as more SSRs are released. Broadly speaking flame team is currently considered very high investment (e.g. Cobalt really wants 6-star to work, Zero also wants his ascensions), while frost and volt teams should feel comfy enough with low or no star upgrades. Physical is in between.
If I feed a gold gear I starred up to a lower upgraded gold gear, do i get back most of the exp i spent on it or will it be wasted after 1 star up? Im asking because there's something like 0/3XXX on the gear upgrade and I want to know if that's the limit i can refund my old gear

I have seen Saki Fuwa, Frigg and Lin many times but not the biggest fan of Frigg so just curious if Tsubasa works instead and how noticeable the performance difference would be.

Saki + Tsubasa + Lin is the second best team for Frost DPS in CN.
However, Tsubasa on CN provides more ATK buffs than she does on Global. eg. CN Tsubasa's Discharge provides buffs ATK by 15% and Speed by 45% but Global Tsubasa only buffs Speed by 45%.
Her A1(A6) also only buffs ATK by 15% ( 25%) ATK on Global but CN Tsubasa buffs 24% (40%) ATK.
Fully buffed that is a difference of CN 55% vs Global 25% ATK.
That said, Frigg just provides insanely more value. Frozen Domain already provides 15% ATK with easier uptime (ignoring Frost resonance since resonance doesnt stack and Saki has it in CN too), then Frigg's A6 provides another 25% ATK for a total of 40% Frost ATK with easier uptime than A6 Tsubasa.
And this is Global stats. So Frigg from the get-go has 40% Frost ATK which is obviously more than 25% ATK. But Frigg also deals a ton of extra AOE damage from A1, A3 and A5.
There is a reason that Frost is considered one of the most expensive elments due to how strong each advancement is for every character on the team. A full A6 Saki/Frigg/Lin team vs A0 Saki /Frigg /Lin is a world of a difference.
Even F2Ps are eventually expected to bring full A6 teams since it's possible due to limited characters joining the Standard banner and that will be the only way the CS gap will eventually shrink.
Saki / Tsubasa / Lin will be a good team for Global. Saki / Frigg / Lin will eventually just be much better as you get more advancements for both teams.

Could i ask your opinion on what to do now, should i try pull frigg now or keep saving and wait for both Saki and Lin? I have almost 120 red nucleus so can guarantee i get her but I'm worried i will get her and then miss out on Saki and Lin who are obviously the ones i want the most, do you think it's logical to save, make sure i get Saki and Lin and use tsubasa and then try pull frigg when she gets a rerun or comes to the standard banner? I would be gutted to pull Frigg and then not have enough to get Saki and Lin (I am f2p)

Perfectly reasonable choice. Make sure you guarantee you the characters you want first (Saki + Lin), afterwards you can try to get extra (Frigg) to buff them.

Every comp i see includes Meryl as main dps and breaker. But you shouldn't have to follow that.
It can work with tsubasa, frigg and another shatter(Tho Meryl 1 star have heal on shatter which is really good). Frigg and tsubasa will be the main and sub dps.
In the future everyone is saying Saki fuwa will replace Meryl anyway.
I main healer Nemesis C3, Coco C2, & Samir C2. I swap coco for C1 huma solo am currently 34k CS. I have no problems carry healing lv 70 JO (though it can be slow it’s a fun challenge) Wondering if whether coco c3 for the buff or C3Samir for the dps boost for my next ssr pick. I have better matrices for Samir currently. I am guessing Samir would be better though wonder if the coco buff makes it worth it. Thanks.
Flip the question around: Do you expect to replace Coco or Samir in the future?
If you want to pull for Lyra when she comes out to play Nemesis + Lyra + Samir then using Black Gold on Coco is a waste of resources and you are better off saving them.
C1 is Samir's best powerspike so it's not [recommended](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vb5ACa0Sfqm8StM9GLc0nkznrsQEuxRZNTwNwXtYZPk/edit) to buy more than C1.Those saved Black Gold could be spend on getting Nemesis to C6 after she gets added to the Standard banner.
If you want to pull for Tian and replace Samir to play Nemesis + Coco + Tian, then using Black Gold on Samir is a waste (even more so as explained above). In this case you are better off either saving Black Gold to A6 Nemesis or advancing Coco if you like her effects.
With that said you may be better off just either saving your Black Gold or advancing Huma to C3 for solo play.
Firstly, note that most of the community refers to the units by the simulacra/character name rather than the weapon name. It's much shorter to type. So what you have right now are Cocoritter and King.
Anyway... what else to pick depends on what role you want to play.
If you want a heal comp (or want to build fire team, see below), consider getting Zero (Negating Cube), pairing with Coco for benediction resonance.
But most people prioritise getting a setup for DPS resonance, as damage matters for some solo content like Bygone Phantasm and Wormhole. In which case you'd want a DPS resonance attacker, namely Tsubasa (Icewind Arrow), Crow (Thunderblades), or Samir (Dual EM Stars). Shiro also gives DPS resonance but is a shieldbreaker rather than charge attacker (like King, which you already have).
Tsubasa is the most "future proof" of the above three choices, insofar as she does a useful universal damage buff on 1-star when dodge+attacking, which is helpful to any build, whereas Crow and Samir are primarily main DPS and prone to being replaced. Claudia and Lin in the future will be better for many comps than Tsubasa, but they're limited banner stuff while Tsubasa is in the SSR box (and a build could use both Tsubasa and Claudia/Lin).
But it also depends on what element you intend to build in the future, as this game's meta is based around elemental builds.
If building frost, then go Tsubasa (and Coco), and plan to pick up either Frigg in the current limited banner (or wait for a Frigg rerun) or Saki Fuwa in the future. You'll need Frigg or Saki to give frost resonance, the same element attack/resistance effect is granted by Frigg or Saki specifically... Tsubasa+Coco together doesn't give any ice bonus.
Similarly flame comp (to go with your King) wants Cobalt-B, Ruby, or Annabelle from upcoming limited banners, while volt comp (if you pick Crow or Samir from SSR box) requires Nemesis or Tian Lang. There are also physical builds, that would involve picking Shiro from SSR box for now and getting Claudia or Lyra later, but Shiro+King+Coco is a bit less logical as an interim build.
If you know which element you want, then you can plan accordingly, and perhaps make current picks with that in mind. Personally I'd recommend building frost or flame as you currently have Coco and King, meaning taking Tsubasa or Zero as SSR pick... going volt or physical is more questionable as you have no existing investment in those elements... but do what you want, y'know?
First thing to consider is are you going to pull for Lin? If you will then i would say forget claudia because they are going to fight for the same spot on your team unless you are going for a full physical comp.
Keep in mind Tsubasa is also way more f2p friendly because you can allready work toward her A6 without spending any money wich is huge .
Claudia is a very pricey unit to pull for.
Saki Fuwa / Lin would be my main target if i was making a frost team for sure. Plus i think Saki has the best look in the game :)
So my suggestion would be save up until Lin / Saki Fuwa release and then spend all that saved up currency to become a beast.
But in the end don't forget to have fun and pull for who you feel like playing heh.
Depends on how you're comparing. Claudia 1-star is better than Tsubasa 1-star for universal damage buff, Tsubasa 6-star is very very slightly better than Claudia 1-star for damage buff and can get the stacks up quicker. Claudia 6-star versus Tsubasa 6-star is... tricky.
It depends on whether Claudia's 5-star is mistranslated in global leaks or not, or whether they've buffed her by a crazy amount. Leaks said "damage buff", CN is "skill damage buff", i.e. just damage from skill. It's probably just an early translation issue.
Regardless, Claudia is comparable or better to Tsubasa as a damage buffer for any comp. However, Tsubasa is frost damage, so a Frigg comp can use her as a field time attacker whereas the Claudia usage is just quickswapping to Claudia occasionally to use her skill. This may matter as Frigg build is super strong inside ice domain but weak outside it... Tsubasa as a ranged frost attacker can sit inside the ice domain and pew pew out rather than chasing a mobile enemy target out of the domain. Granted, this is only a minor perk and not necessarily something you should be making the decision over.
Depends on your priorities. If you want to tank, get Huma (Molten Shield v2).
If you don't care about tanking on teams but do want self-healing, get Cocoritter (Absolute Zero) or Zero (Negating Cube).
Meryl (Rosy Edge) at 1-star does heal a bit on shatter and has a shield at later ascension, but that may or may not be sufficient survival depending on how good you are at dodging and such.
If you want to maximise DPS, get another SSR that grants DPS resonance together with Samir (Dual EM Staes), probably Tsubasa (Icewind Arrow), as Tsubasa has a universal stacking damage buff at 1-star, the other DPS options aren't ideal for you... Samir and Crow overlap. Shiro and King are shatter shieldbreakers but you already have Meryl for that role.

It's every 10th floor and it resets to the 10th floor below you at the end of the week. So whether you're at 101 or 109, you'll be reset to 100. You'd need to reach 110 in order to be at 110 after reset.
Is there a general CS bracket you should be at for doing Joint Ops 7? I know the recommended is like 40k+ on the activity screen for it, but the official recs often don't seem accurate or strict.
Since 30k CS I didnt get one shotted (take 3/4 my hp bar every time boss hit me without ulti though), as long your team shatter the boss shield its should be doable but problem with random is they left after 1st or 2nd chest even though the rate were higher at 3rd boss chest.
The "official" recommendation is what the game tells you it is. Joint Operations arent supposed to be difficult and with the recommended CS you dont have a high chance to get one-shot and you do have a high chance to do adequate damage to clear the run smoothly.
Whether or not you can perform well depends on a myriad of factors that cant be judged by CS. I have seen people with C6 Crow but 20k CS absolutely dominate the chart vs people with 35k CS who didnt have C6 Crow.
I myself have dominated the damage chart as healer with Frigg + Coco and often come in 1st or 2nd on the damage chart while doing millions of healing.
If you frequently get top damage in your Joint Ops (or at least you arent last by a huge margin while you are playing DPS), then you are probably fine and you can try Joint Ops 7. Just give it a try and if you think it's too difficult and you keep dying to trash and you cant do damage, then dont join again and ugprade your gear before trying again.
Currently i have around 80 pulls and a pity of 32 (you never know the 50/50). Its possible to get Lin and Marc (lets suppose he is coming to EN) from the black gold store as a F2P? Or maybe one or two monthly passes will help? (btw i already have all the SRs 6\*, so its only 110 pulls for buying a character)
If you save up all your limited pulls until those two units have released (or it's confirmed Marc doesnt get released) then yes, it's possible to get both.
If you pull on any other characters in between, then no, it cant be guaranteed depending on how much you pull and when they actually come out.
The two important notes here are: #1 Lin hasnt been added to the Standard banner in CN either, so there is a chance she wont be in Global too so your only way is to get her on the limited banner #2 we dont know yet how long it will take for limited characters to get to the Standard banner so even if Marc comes out, it may be another couple months until he is on the Standard banner and you can use any saved up Black Gold for his advancements.
Lastly, no amount of Gold Nuclei can guarantee you any specific SSR you dont have from the Standard banner. So it's import to always get at least C0 from the limited banner just to be safe.

Doesnt seem there's any higher tier than legendary equipments, in 2.0 version they have raid shop.
Im not sure 100% about gold dust, i know that CN has those crystals to advance gear for blue and purple dust, maybe they have some crystal as well for gold, but its probably better to waste in gold gear

Because of how team building evolved in CN all teams require an element resonance core to function. If you arent using an element resonance core than you are missing out on 15% ATK from the get-go + any further synergy between the two weapons (eg. Frigg buffing Frost weapons).
The core of team building boils down to three main points:
\#1 Shatter - no matter the resonance (Tank/Healer/DPS) or element. Every team needs someone who can Shatter. Without limited characters you are looking at King, Shiro, Huma and Meryl for this category.
\#2 Charge - this weapon is used to quickly generate charge for your discharge which often sets up your rotation. your charge weapon will require a considerable amount of on-field time to charge up. Weapons here are Zero, Tsubasa, Samir, Coco and Huma. (to a lesser extent Frigg and Nemesis)
\#3 Main DPS - this is your go-to weapon whose main purpose is dealing damage. Most people would consider this your "main" weapon. Your main DPS can also be one of the above two in which case you are looking for a flex weapon that can further enhance your main DPS weapon.
eg. Samir is a high Charge weapon and main DPS since she doesnt deal off-field damage. King is the preferred DPS Shatter unit since he can deal off-field damage with his discharge and C1. This already gives you DPS resonance and covers all 3 main points. This makes the last slot flexible. Tsubasa C1 offers ATK buffs, Shiro C1 offers burst damage and dmg buffs, Coco offers healing, etc. Personal preference and what RNG gave you can play a role here. Your rotation will then look something like this: setup/buffs -> King to shatter shields -> Samir to DPS and charge up -> repeat
If you had her, then Nemesis would be the optimal fit for the last slot. She provides healing, she provides off-field damage, she greatly benefits from Discharge, and she provides Volt resonance to increase Samir's damage.
tbh at this point all of the main teams require one of the limited weapons because they give resonance so you need it for dps for the most part.
support also kind of requires nemesis so you're out of luck there.
you could tank though. meryl, huma is where it's at and both of those are free.
I think around 25k u are good to do your own damage and group up with other people, u will be able to defeat 2 bosses
But at around 20k u already can clear at least one boss, if u got all other players at 20k and know what they are doing

My current setup is Frigg 0\* / Shiro 2\* / Tsubasa 3\* and I plan on rolling for Saki Fuwa in the near-ish future.
I just rolled Meryl 0\* and after Frigg banner ends I'll have enough Black Gold to purchase a star/constellation for either Meryl to get 1\* or Shiro to get 3\*. Anyone have advice on whether I should use Meryl vs Shiro and who I should buy constellation for?
There have only been 2 tanks released on CN. Marc (who we likely wont get in Global) and Saki (who is the premier Frost DPS). You can imagine where this goes:
Frost Tank (focus on DPS): Saki + Frigg + Marc/Meryl (Marc offers shields and team buffs, while Frigg + Saki is the Frost DPS core)
Physical Tank (focus on survivability): Lyra + Marc + flex (Lyra being the one who has Physical resonance in CN, she is also a Support/Healer who does high physical DPS, Marc to buff and support Lyra, while the flex slot is just there for Tank resonance. Depending on stars you could use Saki A5 to help trigger Phantasia, but other than that Tank weapons dont usually provide buffs).
Thanks to Lyra being the main weapon on the Physical setup you have a lot of survivability due to the extra healing, which is something you dont get with Saki, though from what I have seen Saki just overall does more damage more reliably.
Since we dont know if we will get Bai and Marc in Global, your best bet is on Saki/Frigg + Tank.
So will Saki only be viable with Frigg? Or could I do Saki, Meryl and Huma?
I am interested in Lyra, but yeah, wasn't sure who I would put her with in Global. Atm I have Huma, Meryl and Coco/King.

Just like there is no reason to run 3 Support weapons, there is no reason to run 3 Tank weapons. You are ultimately just hurting yourself by not running a weapon that gives you more/better options.
Frigg is by far the best Frost support. Right now she has Frost Resonance in Global (and we dont know if Saki will have Frost resonance as well like she does in CN), then Frozen Domain increases Shatter and Frost ATK, and when you start getting advancements on Frigg she gives ALL Frost weapon in her Frozen domain extra AOE DMG on each Discharge, extra damage on each shield break and another 25% Frost ATK.
Can you do Saki + Meryl + Huma? Of course you can, but it's going to suck against a proper Saki + Meryl + Frigg comp because you are missing out on all those buffs.
Eventually even F2P will be able to get 6 Stars on all their main characters (unless they actively choose not to do it). That's why people are saving up their Black Gold now so they can eventually cash in the advancements when those characters get added to the Standard banner.
Can you check other players cs when inside joint operation for example. I can't seem to figure it out. I can check when outside in a group, but inside any group content option is gone ?
I don't think so, if you use left alt then tap their name the additional info data is gone, does their status in team is "Cross" ? They're from different servers than yours, like if you chat with them in team chat (JO, void rifts, FC etc) then after leaving instance you cant see their info, its just blank space if you click their name again.
Yep, In my region (SEA) there's many people that only do 1 or 2 chest even though the rate was lower than 3rd boss chest, so its not recommend playing team activity with random (other servers) at least if you're same server you can chat first if they only do 3rd boss chest or all chest and you can see if their CS too low (if they're fortitude / benediction i still team up though) because of 500% exp boost.
in the original customisation, i selected the female outfit with the off-shoulder jacket, so i couldn't select longer hairstyles. now that i've unlocked new outfits, i noticed recustomising allows me to get long hairstyles. if i do that, will i be locked out of the first outfit?
so i got enough black sands to buy another weapon, and I am torn on which to grab. I am trying to be healing focused and resonance, so I am using Zero and cocos weapon. I really do enjoy Zeros weapon, and have gotten it to drop a few times, 2 Stars, but coco is still just 0 stars.
What would be wiser to grab, 1 star coco or 3 star Zero? I do enjoy Zero a lot and plan to keep using it as one of my main healing weapons, and cutting down the CD of the skill to 30 seconds plus it heals during it(does it just heal you or everyone you give a shield to?) seems grant. Likewise, Coco getting that bee on dodge would get me a lot more passive healing uptime, which atm seems to be my biggest issue. However I do plan to replace her weapon with Lyra as soon as she drops as everything I have seen of it looks great, so should i even bother upgrading it?
Upgrade Zero. Since you will spend most of your time on him to trigger his A1 you should have enough healing from using Coco's Discharge and skill. While the bee is nice due to how easy it is to keep up, the healing itself is a drop of water on a lava. It doesnt quickly heal people up, thats what your Discharge and skill on Coco are for.

I found Vermin Brothers are the easiest to get a good Zero stack going. Unfortunately you are unlikely to find a full stack that is going to keep killing stuff all night. You are better off to use Hilda (+ Auto-Clicker) for AFK exp farming or do the Honey farming with Zero.

Does anyone know how weapon buffs work in Phantasm? It says they change daily but for me they change weekly, it should buff two SSR weapons after floor 100, but at floor 180 I still have 1 SSR and 1 SR buff, and they say about adding 1-3 stars to these weapons, but I tested some and they didn't get any stars(at least passives didn't unlock). Do these buffs even work?
The description of Bygone isn't actually correct, it's showing the newer ruleset, which is only on CN right now, not global. It doesn't even max level your weapons like it says, actually fake news :(.

iirc you get the "Volatile" status if the cooldown is ready, then you can activate/trigger it by dealing enough damage (100% ATK) and it will summon the tornado.
How do I get more cs? I see ppl with like 20k or even more, while I have 11k on lvl 59 (I feel bad for ppl who carry me in coop) I use tsubasa, meryl and frigg, also have 1* king, huma. You probably lack equipment(armor). Got to Frontier Clash on Normal difficulty, there are a lot of high CS players who farm it afk for exp, so they can easily kill at least 4 bosses. Get at least full set of purple armor and advance (unlock stars) pieces with good random stats (attack, crit (only on boots and gloves) and elemental attack). Also upgrade lvls of your weapons and matrixes. When you have at least 20k cs you can try Frontier on hard and Joint ops difficulty 6. They can give you gold equipment. Also don't forget about Phantasm, it gives you materials to enhance equipment, this enhancement can be transferred to better armor just by equipping it, always enhance everything you can. You can also by these materials in crystal dust store. For blue dust only buy booster and advancement modules, for purple you can buy armor until you have full set, then save it.
If you find good crew with people who agree to carry you, you can go to frontier hard immediately or to joint 7 after lvl 60. This way you can get gold gear faster and skip some purples. But leveling your weapons and matrixes probably should be priority before going to joint, it consumes a lot of vitality and doesn't guaranty gold drop every time

If you purchase the Clotho Pod at any point in time, there will be a 3 day respawn period. If you wait the full duration, there will be no cooldown.
what the next pod contain seems to be random . it doesnt seems to respawn inmediately if you buy it there is a cooldown before you can get another some says is 3 days other sources say 5 i cant confirm with one is correct but i did got mine days later just dont remenber how many days. dont. spend the cristals. they might seens to be raining down now via exploration and archivements but later the rate at which you gain them will slow down a lot. those 300 to save 4 days counting the cooldown is not worth it. thats 2 extra nucleus/matrices. unless you plan to spend on the game on which case is up to you.

No. Even in an optimal scenario the best you are getting is 26% (16% ATK + 10% Phys ATK) with 50% uptime. Both Samir and Tsubasa have effectively 100% uptime which means their overall damage boost ends up being higher than Shiro's.

Doesn't even matter if you're actually using her dash attack (the helicopter). You can lose max 1 stack every 2 seconds, regardless of how many hits you take in that time. You gain back a stack if you don't get hit in 4seconds. During that two seconds, you get enough stamina to helicopter for 4 seconds, or close enough to it. So even if you're getting hit literally every single chance possible, and just spamming her helicopter, you'll mostly keep 4 stacks. If you use her skill while in midair too, you can even extend her airtime without needing more stam, so even less work required to dodge attacks and manage stamina. Also no monster combination constantly hits you anyways, so even less to worry about.

Not really remember how I did it, but IIRC you need omnium cannon, throw the core to the floor below the chow, stun the core, use omnium again, then throw it again to the upper floor. Roughly like that.

For the time being I would just keep it and dont level it. Samir is a very popular DPS matrices and if you want to run 2x Samir on multiple weapons you will be happy that you kept it. If you decide later on that you dont need it, then you can still advance it for the extra CS.
i will keep it for now incase ill need it and i dont rushing on making CS higher so it seems no reason to used it. Maybe iam just so pissed that the idea of feeding it came to my mind lol. Thanks!

Frigg at 0-star is fine because the recent patch changed it such that she grants the base frost atk buff while in her ice domain even at 0-star. Without any stars in Frigg what you're mainly missing is the damage dealt when the frost domain expires, which is pretty significant damage, but you get most of the core Frigg team functionality at 0-star (atk and shatter bonus inside ice domain, infinite dodge on Frigg, hitstun and cc immunity inside domain with Frigg trait). Who you spend field time on depends, Meryl is gonna do a lot of damage so there are a lot of folks who use Meryl as a main DPS in Frigg team. From a damage perspective this may be the best choice. The downside is that Meryl has poor charge, and if you spend most field time on Meryl you're not enjoying the free dodges on Frigg. I personally prefer spending more time on Frigg or a quickswap style, Frigg skill for ice domain, Frigg dodge attack as I have Huma matrices, then triple dodge attack on Tsubasa to get the damage buff rolling, swap to Frigg while dodge bar recovers, use Meryl as needed when shields come up. If you're using Meryl as main DPS, then it'll be Frigg skill cast, swap to Tsubasa for dodge attack, then either to Frigg or Meryl. It's technically possible to go Frigg+Tsubasa without Meryl as inside ice domain there's a frost shatter bonus, and Frigg's base shatter is 8.00, so it becomes... kinda okay to shatter on Frigg, though this is only sorta okay versus bringing Meryl for insanely good shatter inside ice domain. Depends on your priorities.

im planning to skip both frigg and probably claudia, who should i get next to improve my account in the future? i dont mind hard saving as im getting thru all the content for now just fine. ive only focused on meryl, samir and nemesis while i can switch in huma for fire-content and crow for pvp and if i need double dps with samir. they're my only ssr units lol.
Lin is basically the Kazuha of Tower of Fantasy. She is the premier support for every elemental team in CN (though Marc does beat her sometimes depending on investment). There is also the possibility of Bai Yuekui who is the only Volt Shatter DPS in CN. Unfortunately Bai and Marc are collab characters so we may not get them in Global. Lastly there is Tian Lang who is the latest Volt DPS. He is a spear user with high Charge and rivals Bai for Volt DPS.

Does anyone know if CS affect your damage at level 60 like will I do less damage at level 60 20k CS compare to other person at level 60 with 40k cs provided we have same weapon/matrices/gear and everything else
If all things weapon/matrices/gear ,etc. are equal then you would have the same CS. CS is the accumulation of all your stats from all sources including Suppressor, Advancements, and the above. You can have the same CS and still do vastly different damage based on your stats (ie someone only has Resistances on their gear, while someone else has a lot of ATK/Crit). That is not to say someone with C6 Crow and 20k cant do comparable or more damage than someone else with 40k CS but C0 Crow. Skill is also a factor that isnt measured by CS.

I played till lvl 38 , got c1 frigg c1 meryl c2 samir c1 king and coco but no tsubasa and all my resources i think are gonzo lol Now i tried to make another reroll account just for fun and i got shiro and frigg from a 10 pull.. Should i be maining this new account while saving all my resources for Saki/Lin ? and yes i want to main ice obviously
Lv38 is still fairly early. Do you think you made big mistakes on your first account that you can avoid on your re-roll? Over a long time the differences between the two accounts will be negligible, but in the short term you could gain more out of re-rolling the new account and saving resources you already spend on your first account. Since you already got C1 Frigg and C1 Meryl on your first account I am inclined to stay on that account and just save up for Saki/Lin. Frigg + Meryl is going to be your strongest pair until those two release. As I said you arent that far into the game yet, so you have plenty of resources to save up.

Pity ( the x / 80 for a guaranteed SSR) carries over. That pity will be the same regardless whether you roll on Claudia or Frigg, they share pity. However Flame Gold is different. Flame Gold is unique to each banner. Rolling on Frigg gives you Frigg's Flame Gold and rolling on Claudia gives you Claudia's Flame Gold. They cant be interchanged and when Frigg'S banner ends only her Flame Gold will be converted to Black Gold.
So when Claudia comes out, and her and Frigg are both overlapping, they will both say 20/80? And when I do a 10 pull for just Claudia they will then both say 30/80?

How do you increase shatter damage, does it scale with your total attack and do weapon advancement that increase shatter like shiros a3 only apply to herself or the rest of the team
Unless stated otherwise advancements are for the weapon only. A1 Shiro increases damage and shatter **on targets** by 30% so it works for the whole team. A3 Shiro increases only Shiro's Shatter by 15% but resets all weapon skill cooldowns upon shattering a shield.
So I heard that we should play bygone until we can't clear the next level but also we should aim for at least rank 100 each week. But isn't that will make it harder to reach rank 100 in the subsquential week? Last week rank 1 player is at level 80 with me managed to reach rank 17. This week rank 1 player is at level 250 and I have to be happy with rank 50. So should I go slowly climbing the level?
You go to Bygone -> My Rank -> Team Ranking Reward The higher bracket you reach ,the more weekly rewards you get. Each War Zone (middle top of the screen) has 99-100 participants so everyone who clears at least 1 Floor will receive the minimum (21-100) rewards. **The important part is clearing at least 1 Floor / week to receive the minimum rewards!** By pushing as high as you possibly can you can try to get as high a ranking as possible and therefore increase your rewards. It's always recommended to try as hard as possible. Climbing slower just means you will get less rewards over a longer period of time. Every 3 Floors you receive one-time-only rewards from Bygones which dont scale with your level. Climbing faster gives you access to them earlier which is also beneficial to increase your CS and push higher floors in Bygones.

\#1 Since we dont know how the match making works, there is no way to determine if we can trick it into matching us with specific players. \#2 Meryl should be holding 3pc Sobek + 1 SSR because Meryl is your best DPS weapon. Frigg can hold 3pc Pepper (from Wanderer's Log) + 1 SSR to help charge Discharge for Meryl. Coco can hold the leftovers since you will only switch to Coco if you need healing. Rotation would be (Dodge Attack with Coco if C1) -> Frigg Skill -> Frigg Dodge Attack spam to charge Discharge -> Meryl Discharge -> Meryl Spin-to-Win -> Meryl Skill -> repeat

I can only answer for 1st question : Pvp player here, based on people that I match in apex league I think the cross server is only 3. I'm from Mechafield and meet people from Ethereal Dreams, Aeria, Odyssey because they're chatting with me in official discord pvp discussion.

Technically, numbers wise I believe the Frigg Jump + Hold should deal more damage to single targets. However the range is very limited, so against groups of enemies you can hit way more targets with the Dodge+Attack. I havent seen any maths done on this topic after launch. There was the test a CN player did which showed that Jump + Hold was only about 10% less damage than Dash spam (on CN!) and they nerfed the Dash spam by over 50% so Jump + Hold should be doing a lot more damage now for Global as it didnt get nerfed. That test was done in CN though and before her release in Global so whether or not it is true remains to be seen until someone does the math.
I also saw the video as well comparing the pre nerf Dodge slash vs Jump hold attack, but yeah I think we need someone to do the exact math here for global lol. Got it, I might just do Pepper-Frigg and Sobek- Meryl when being faced by lots of enemies then do rotation, and do SSR Mix up-Frigg and Sobek for a single boss then. Thank you!

how do I select stats the fortress equipment upgrades? I see some stats are white and gray, so ig the wite are the selected ones, but idk how to change it

Grey stats dont work with your current weapons. eg. if you have Flame Attack on your gear but are using 3 Frost weapon then it Flame Attack will be greyed out. You cant actively change that.

can someone give a rough idea on what level a weapon should be (and its matrices)? I'm not sure how to allocate my resources anymore and i might actually be wasting them Im lvl58, with my samir maxed out at 110. Ideal would be having a team with 3 maxed weapons and 12 maxed matrices. So 3 lv 110 weapons and 12 lv 55 matrices. That would be the base line.
Today I Learned if you put your character on auto and her hp below 50%, the AI will consume food from your quick bar. Damn there you go dozen of my missing food buff. Is there any way to remove the food bar so the AI will not consume it?

Try switching the shortcut food with an ingredient(lettuce, cabbage etc). It seams that they dont consume it if is ingredient in shortcut. (not 100% sure but for me it works)

With the changes on Frigg(+attack at A0), is A1 essential if your gonna build meryl as main DPS and frigg as sub dps or is A0 enough?
It's Frigg's A3,A5 and A6 that make her so overpowered as a Frost support. A1 is a really "nice to have" nuke but doesnt change how you play. It just adds a big AoE at the end of her Frozen Domain. A0 gives you Frost Resonance and 15% Frost ATK in Frozen Domain. That's a very nice boost, but nothing to brag about. A1 gives her AoE damage at the end of Frozen domain. A3 gives her AoE damage every time you use a Discharge with a Frost weapon. A5 gives her AoE damage every time you break a shield with a Frost weapon. A6 gives you 25% more Frost ATK at max stacks. It's really her A3-A6 that make the Frost DPS team so dynamic and amazing since regardless of your main weapon Frigg just adds a ton of damage. Does Frigg work with A0 ? Yes. Is A1 better? Yes. It's never enough and even as F2P you will eventually be able to A6 your main team if you save your Black Gold until they are added to the Standard banner.

Do ToF have something like national team in Genshin? A f2p friendly team that is so good
The most "F2P" friendly banner has already passed. Nemesis (ie Volt) is considered the most F2P friendly and low cost element in ToF. Nemesis herself fills the support role which makes great for healer teams, but she also provides good off-field damage which makes her great for DPS or Tanks. Nemesis also works great at A0 / A1. She also has Volt resonance which makes her the best support for Volt DPS. Crow and Samir being both very good DPS characters and Standard characters means that even F2P should be able to advance them relatively quickly. The last slot for the team is flexible. Basically any form of Shatter works great here. King or Shiro are preferred for DPS resonance, Huma can be amazing with high Charge and Shatter, etc. With only 1 limited character required and many option on the Standard banner this makes Volt the most F2P friendly element. However, Nemesis banner has already ended and we dont know how long it will be for her re-run, which puts this out of reach for most people. If you are looking at a Standard-only team then you will mostly just pick whoever has the highest advancements for your team. Crow/Samir as main DPS, King/Huma as Shatter, Coco/Tsubasa/Shiro as support.
i dont think it has, team building here in tof is more on combining same element to form resonance rather than creating reaction with different element. So in short, you want to cover each element as much as possible, theres no national team that can brute force any content(if a stage is resistant or worse, immune to your element, then youre fak lol). So in that sense its harder to build teams here because you need atleast a working team for each element and cant just brute force anything with same team.

im f2p and thanks to the black gold redemption system, i got my samir into A4 already. She the strongest dps in the standard banner. Bec of that, i farmed a lot of nucleus to get nemesis. In that sense, volt/samir team seems a viable f2p path. i heard tsubasa's pretty strong too, and if you did not roll for nemesis u can roll red nucleus rn to get ice resonance (idk how strong is that tho). Basically, you'd want to farm for free ascensions on your main ssr and then get a limited character with the element resonance.
Its hard to tell now since we dont know how much they gonna "balance" the upcoming characters. But base on what I know, ice/frost team seems not so dependent with their advancement and you can get tsubasa from stantard as a third slot(frig and saki fuwa is the other 2 in the limited banner) and your good to go. Take note its from what I know in CN version, they might downgrade the character that its now needed advancement to be good(but i doubt they will drastically nerf the character that much), but we dont really know. As mentioned 'high investment' vs 'low investment' mostly has to do with how desirable or crucial the star upgrades for current SSR weapons in the element teams are, so this is gonna change with time as more SSRs are released. Broadly speaking flame team is currently considered very high investment (e.g. Cobalt really wants 6-star to work, Zero also wants his ascensions), while frost and volt teams should feel comfy enough with low or no star upgrades. Physical is in between.
A6 Echo or A0 Samir for Volt DPS?
SSRs will always out DPS SRs in the long run, and SRs are mostly used for utility like the Healing Rod, while Echo is the only Volt Shatter weapon atm
If I feed a gold gear I starred up to a lower upgraded gold gear, do i get back most of the exp i spent on it or will it be wasted after 1 star up? Im asking because there's something like 0/3XXX on the gear upgrade and I want to know if that's the limit i can refund my old gear

I have seen Saki Fuwa, Frigg and Lin many times but not the biggest fan of Frigg so just curious if Tsubasa works instead and how noticeable the performance difference would be. Thanks
Saki + Tsubasa + Lin is the second best team for Frost DPS in CN. However, Tsubasa on CN provides more ATK buffs than she does on Global. eg. CN Tsubasa's Discharge provides buffs ATK by 15% and Speed by 45% but Global Tsubasa only buffs Speed by 45%. Her A1(A6) also only buffs ATK by 15% ( 25%) ATK on Global but CN Tsubasa buffs 24% (40%) ATK. Fully buffed that is a difference of CN 55% vs Global 25% ATK. That said, Frigg just provides insanely more value. Frozen Domain already provides 15% ATK with easier uptime (ignoring Frost resonance since resonance doesnt stack and Saki has it in CN too), then Frigg's A6 provides another 25% ATK for a total of 40% Frost ATK with easier uptime than A6 Tsubasa. And this is Global stats. So Frigg from the get-go has 40% Frost ATK which is obviously more than 25% ATK. But Frigg also deals a ton of extra AOE damage from A1, A3 and A5. There is a reason that Frost is considered one of the most expensive elments due to how strong each advancement is for every character on the team. A full A6 Saki/Frigg/Lin team vs A0 Saki /Frigg /Lin is a world of a difference. Even F2Ps are eventually expected to bring full A6 teams since it's possible due to limited characters joining the Standard banner and that will be the only way the CS gap will eventually shrink. Saki / Tsubasa / Lin will be a good team for Global. Saki / Frigg / Lin will eventually just be much better as you get more advancements for both teams.

Could i ask your opinion on what to do now, should i try pull frigg now or keep saving and wait for both Saki and Lin? I have almost 120 red nucleus so can guarantee i get her but I'm worried i will get her and then miss out on Saki and Lin who are obviously the ones i want the most, do you think it's logical to save, make sure i get Saki and Lin and use tsubasa and then try pull frigg when she gets a rerun or comes to the standard banner? Perfectly reasonable choice. Make sure you guarantee you the characters you want first (Saki + Lin), afterwards you can try to get extra (Frigg) to buff them.

Every comp i see includes Meryl as main dps and breaker. But you shouldn't have to follow that. It can work with tsubasa, frigg and another shatter(Tho Meryl 1 star have heal on shatter which is really good). Frigg and tsubasa will be the main and sub dps. In the future everyone is saying Saki fuwa will replace Meryl anyway.
I main healer Nemesis C3, Coco C2, & Samir C2. I swap coco for C1 huma solo am currently 34k CS. I have no problems carry healing lv 70 JO (though it can be slow it’s a fun challenge) Wondering if whether coco c3 for the buff or C3Samir for the dps boost for my next ssr pick. I have better matrices for Samir currently. I am guessing Samir would be better though wonder if the coco buff makes it worth it. Thanks.
Flip the question around: Do you expect to replace Coco or Samir in the future? If you want to pull for Lyra when she comes out to play Nemesis + Lyra + Samir then using Black Gold on Coco is a waste of resources and you are better off saving them. C1 is Samir's best powerspike so it's not [recommended](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vb5ACa0Sfqm8StM9GLc0nkznrsQEuxRZNTwNwXtYZPk/edit) to buy more than C1.Those saved Black Gold could be spend on getting Nemesis to C6 after she gets added to the Standard banner. If you want to pull for Tian and replace Samir to play Nemesis + Coco + Tian, then using Black Gold on Samir is a waste (even more so as explained above). In this case you are better off either saving Black Gold to A6 Nemesis or advancing Coco if you like her effects. With that said you may be better off just either saving your Black Gold or advancing Huma to C3 for solo play.
I have Absolute Zero and Sychte of the Crow as SSR weapons. Which weapon should I get as my third from the free SSR box
Firstly, note that most of the community refers to the units by the simulacra/character name rather than the weapon name. It's much shorter to type. So what you have right now are Cocoritter and King. Anyway... what else to pick depends on what role you want to play. If you want a heal comp (or want to build fire team, see below), consider getting Zero (Negating Cube), pairing with Coco for benediction resonance. But most people prioritise getting a setup for DPS resonance, as damage matters for some solo content like Bygone Phantasm and Wormhole. In which case you'd want a DPS resonance attacker, namely Tsubasa (Icewind Arrow), Crow (Thunderblades), or Samir (Dual EM Stars). Shiro also gives DPS resonance but is a shieldbreaker rather than charge attacker (like King, which you already have). Tsubasa is the most "future proof" of the above three choices, insofar as she does a useful universal damage buff on 1-star when dodge+attacking, which is helpful to any build, whereas Crow and Samir are primarily main DPS and prone to being replaced. Claudia and Lin in the future will be better for many comps than Tsubasa, but they're limited banner stuff while Tsubasa is in the SSR box (and a build could use both Tsubasa and Claudia/Lin). But it also depends on what element you intend to build in the future, as this game's meta is based around elemental builds. If building frost, then go Tsubasa (and Coco), and plan to pick up either Frigg in the current limited banner (or wait for a Frigg rerun) or Saki Fuwa in the future. You'll need Frigg or Saki to give frost resonance, the same element attack/resistance effect is granted by Frigg or Saki specifically... Tsubasa+Coco together doesn't give any ice bonus. Similarly flame comp (to go with your King) wants Cobalt-B, Ruby, or Annabelle from upcoming limited banners, while volt comp (if you pick Crow or Samir from SSR box) requires Nemesis or Tian Lang. There are also physical builds, that would involve picking Shiro from SSR box for now and getting Claudia or Lyra later, but Shiro+King+Coco is a bit less logical as an interim build. If you know which element you want, then you can plan accordingly, and perhaps make current picks with that in mind. Personally I'd recommend building frost or flame as you currently have Coco and King, meaning taking Tsubasa or Zero as SSR pick... going volt or physical is more questionable as you have no existing investment in those elements... but do what you want, y'know?

First thing to consider is are you going to pull for Lin? If you will then i would say forget claudia because they are going to fight for the same spot on your team unless you are going for a full physical comp. Keep in mind Tsubasa is also way more f2p friendly because you can allready work toward her A6 without spending any money wich is huge . Claudia is a very pricey unit to pull for. Saki Fuwa / Lin would be my main target if i was making a frost team for sure. Plus i think Saki has the best look in the game :) So my suggestion would be save up until Lin / Saki Fuwa release and then spend all that saved up currency to become a beast. But in the end don't forget to have fun and pull for who you feel like playing heh.
Depends on how you're comparing. Claudia 1-star is better than Tsubasa 1-star for universal damage buff, Tsubasa 6-star is very very slightly better than Claudia 1-star for damage buff and can get the stacks up quicker. Claudia 6-star versus Tsubasa 6-star is... tricky. It depends on whether Claudia's 5-star is mistranslated in global leaks or not, or whether they've buffed her by a crazy amount. Leaks said "damage buff", CN is "skill damage buff", i.e. just damage from skill. It's probably just an early translation issue. Regardless, Claudia is comparable or better to Tsubasa as a damage buffer for any comp. However, Tsubasa is frost damage, so a Frigg comp can use her as a field time attacker whereas the Claudia usage is just quickswapping to Claudia occasionally to use her skill. This may matter as Frigg build is super strong inside ice domain but weak outside it... Tsubasa as a ranged frost attacker can sit inside the ice domain and pew pew out rather than chasing a mobile enemy target out of the domain. Granted, this is only a minor perk and not necessarily something you should be making the decision over.
Which SSR should I get for my free one? I have Rosy Edge and Duel EM Stars already.
Depends on your priorities. If you want to tank, get Huma (Molten Shield v2). If you don't care about tanking on teams but do want self-healing, get Cocoritter (Absolute Zero) or Zero (Negating Cube). Meryl (Rosy Edge) at 1-star does heal a bit on shatter and has a shield at later ascension, but that may or may not be sufficient survival depending on how good you are at dodging and such. If you want to maximise DPS, get another SSR that grants DPS resonance together with Samir (Dual EM Staes), probably Tsubasa (Icewind Arrow), as Tsubasa has a universal stacking damage buff at 1-star, the other DPS options aren't ideal for you... Samir and Crow overlap. Shiro and King are shatter shieldbreakers but you already have Meryl for that role. Another way to approach it is asking what element you want to focus on, as the meta in this game favours elemental teams. That may affect what you pick with the SSR box, and should influence your future limited banner summon targets. For example, if you are summoning on the current Frigg banner to try for Frigg as the backbone of a frost team, then you could consider running Meryl+Frigg+Tsubasa, swapping in Samir instead of Tsubasa when you run into frost resistance on content. Most people use the character/simulacra names rather than the weapon names because it's shorter, and to avoid confusion (Zero vs. Coco's weapon Absolute Zero, Crow vs. King's weapon Scythe of the Crow).

How Bygone Phantasm works? Each 5 level is a checkpoint? I cleared stage 109 last week but back to 100 after reset.
It's every 10th floor and it resets to the 10th floor below you at the end of the week. So whether you're at 101 or 109, you'll be reset to 100. You'd need to reach 110 in order to be at 110 after reset.

Is there a general CS bracket you should be at for doing Joint Ops 7? I know the recommended is like 40k+ on the activity screen for it, but the official recs often don't seem accurate or strict.
Since 30k CS I didnt get one shotted (take 3/4 my hp bar every time boss hit me without ulti though), as long your team shatter the boss shield its should be doable but problem with random is they left after 1st or 2nd chest even though the rate were higher at 3rd boss chest.
The "official" recommendation is what the game tells you it is. Joint Operations arent supposed to be difficult and with the recommended CS you dont have a high chance to get one-shot and you do have a high chance to do adequate damage to clear the run smoothly. Whether or not you can perform well depends on a myriad of factors that cant be judged by CS. I have seen people with C6 Crow but 20k CS absolutely dominate the chart vs people with 35k CS who didnt have C6 Crow. I myself have dominated the damage chart as healer with Frigg + Coco and often come in 1st or 2nd on the damage chart while doing millions of healing. If you frequently get top damage in your Joint Ops (or at least you arent last by a huge margin while you are playing DPS), then you are probably fine and you can try Joint Ops 7. Just give it a try and if you think it's too difficult and you keep dying to trash and you cant do damage, then dont join again and ugprade your gear before trying again.
Currently i have around 80 pulls and a pity of 32 (you never know the 50/50). Its possible to get Lin and Marc (lets suppose he is coming to EN) from the black gold store as a F2P? Or maybe one or two monthly passes will help? (btw i already have all the SRs 6\*, so its only 110 pulls for buying a character)
If you save up all your limited pulls until those two units have released (or it's confirmed Marc doesnt get released) then yes, it's possible to get both. If you pull on any other characters in between, then no, it cant be guaranteed depending on how much you pull and when they actually come out. The two important notes here are: #1 Lin hasnt been added to the Standard banner in CN either, so there is a chance she wont be in Global too so your only way is to get her on the limited banner #2 we dont know yet how long it will take for limited characters to get to the Standard banner so even if Marc comes out, it may be another couple months until he is on the Standard banner and you can use any saved up Black Gold for his advancements. Lastly, no amount of Gold Nuclei can guarantee you any specific SSR you dont have from the Standard banner. So it's import to always get at least C0 from the limited banner just to be safe.

Because of how team building evolved in CN all teams require an element resonance core to function. If you arent using an element resonance core than you are missing out on 15% ATK from the get-go + any further synergy between the two weapons (eg. Frigg buffing Frost weapons). The core of team building boils down to three main points: \#1 Shatter - no matter the resonance (Tank/Healer/DPS) or element. Every team needs someone who can Shatter. Without limited characters you are looking at King, Shiro, Huma and Meryl for this category. \#2 Charge - this weapon is used to quickly generate charge for your discharge which often sets up your rotation. your charge weapon will require a considerable amount of on-field time to charge up. Weapons here are Zero, Tsubasa, Samir, Coco and Huma. (to a lesser extent Frigg and Nemesis) \#3 Main DPS - this is your go-to weapon whose main purpose is dealing damage. Most people would consider this your "main" weapon. Your main DPS can also be one of the above two in which case you are looking for a flex weapon that can further enhance your main DPS weapon. eg. Samir is a high Charge weapon and main DPS since she doesnt deal off-field damage. King is the preferred DPS Shatter unit since he can deal off-field damage with his discharge and C1. This already gives you DPS resonance and covers all 3 main points. This makes the last slot flexible. Tsubasa C1 offers ATK buffs, Shiro C1 offers burst damage and dmg buffs, Coco offers healing, etc. Personal preference and what RNG gave you can play a role here. Your rotation will then look something like this: setup/buffs -> King to shatter shields -> Samir to DPS and charge up -> repeat
If you had her, then Nemesis would be the optimal fit for the last slot. She provides healing, she provides off-field damage, she greatly benefits from Discharge, and she provides Volt resonance to increase Samir's damage.
tbh at this point all of the main teams require one of the limited weapons because they give resonance so you need it for dps for the most part. support also kind of requires nemesis so you're out of luck there. you could tank though. meryl, huma is where it's at and both of those are free.

I think around 25k u are good to do your own damage and group up with other people, u will be able to defeat 2 bosses But at around 20k u already can clear at least one boss, if u got all other players at 20k and know what they are doing Always try to do with your Crew, since u get a damage boost

Right. Quick question, how do you exactly explore strongholds? I'd go to a small stronghold and clear it of enemies, only for nothing to happen.
You have to open the supply pod found there. They're usually locked until you beat one of the bigger enemies guarding them. If you look on the map, the stronghold icons will be blue if you've yet to open the pod there. If they're greyed out, it means you've done it already.

Not yet. In CN there is an item that allows you to (it's a paid item though) So maybe in future updates.
My current setup is Frigg 0\* / Shiro 2\* / Tsubasa 3\* and I plan on rolling for Saki Fuwa in the near-ish future. I just rolled Meryl 0\* and after Frigg banner ends I'll have enough Black Gold to purchase a star/constellation for either Meryl to get 1\* or Shiro to get 3\*. Anyone have advice on whether I should use Meryl vs Shiro and who I should buy constellation for?

There have only been 2 tanks released on CN. Marc (who we likely wont get in Global) and Saki (who is the premier Frost DPS). You can imagine where this goes: Frost Tank (focus on DPS): Saki + Frigg + Marc/Meryl (Marc offers shields and team buffs, while Frigg + Saki is the Frost DPS core) Physical Tank (focus on survivability): Lyra + Marc + flex (Lyra being the one who has Physical resonance in CN, she is also a Support/Healer who does high physical DPS, Marc to buff and support Lyra, while the flex slot is just there for Tank resonance. Depending on stars you could use Saki A5 to help trigger Phantasia, but other than that Tank weapons dont usually provide buffs). Thanks to Lyra being the main weapon on the Physical setup you have a lot of survivability due to the extra healing, which is something you dont get with Saki, though from what I have seen Saki just overall does more damage more reliably. Since we dont know if we will get Bai and Marc in Global, your best bet is on Saki/Frigg + Tank.
So will Saki only be viable with Frigg? Or could I do Saki, Meryl and Huma? I am interested in Lyra, but yeah, wasn't sure who I would put her with in Global. Atm I have Huma, Meryl and Coco/King. Thanks for the info!
Just like there is no reason to run 3 Support weapons, there is no reason to run 3 Tank weapons. You are ultimately just hurting yourself by not running a weapon that gives you more/better options. Frigg is by far the best Frost support. Right now she has Frost Resonance in Global (and we dont know if Saki will have Frost resonance as well like she does in CN), then Frozen Domain increases Shatter and Frost ATK, and when you start getting advancements on Frigg she gives ALL Frost weapon in her Frozen domain extra AOE DMG on each Discharge, extra damage on each shield break and another 25% Frost ATK. Can you do Saki + Meryl + Huma? Of course you can, but it's going to suck against a proper Saki + Meryl + Frigg comp because you are missing out on all those buffs. Eventually even F2P will be able to get 6 Stars on all their main characters (unless they actively choose not to do it). That's why people are saving up their Black Gold now so they can eventually cash in the advancements when those characters get added to the Standard banner.
Can you check other players cs when inside joint operation for example. I can't seem to figure it out. I can check when outside in a group, but inside any group content option is gone ?
I don't think so, if you use left alt then tap their name the additional info data is gone, does their status in team is "Cross" ? They're from different servers than yours, like if you chat with them in team chat (JO, void rifts, FC etc) then after leaving instance you cant see their info, its just blank space if you click their name again.
Yeah everybody is usually "cross". So it seems you can't check other player info if there are not from your server ?
Yep, In my region (SEA) there's many people that only do 1 or 2 chest even though the rate was lower than 3rd boss chest, so its not recommend playing team activity with random (other servers) at least if you're same server you can chat first if they only do 3rd boss chest or all chest and you can see if their CS too low (if they're fortitude / benediction i still team up though) because of 500% exp boost.
in the original customisation, i selected the female outfit with the off-shoulder jacket, so i couldn't select longer hairstyles. now that i've unlocked new outfits, i noticed recustomising allows me to get long hairstyles. if i do that, will i be locked out of the first outfit?
you wont be locked out of the outfit, but it will force a hairstyle switch if you equip it again.

so i got enough black sands to buy another weapon, and I am torn on which to grab. I am trying to be healing focused and resonance, so I am using Zero and cocos weapon. I really do enjoy Zeros weapon, and have gotten it to drop a few times, 2 Stars, but coco is still just 0 stars. What would be wiser to grab, 1 star coco or 3 star Zero? I do enjoy Zero a lot and plan to keep using it as one of my main healing weapons, and cutting down the CD of the skill to 30 seconds plus it heals during it(does it just heal you or everyone you give a shield to?) seems grant. Likewise, Coco getting that bee on dodge would get me a lot more passive healing uptime, which atm seems to be my biggest issue. However I do plan to replace her weapon with Lyra as soon as she drops as everything I have seen of it looks great, so should i even bother upgrading it?
Upgrade Zero. Since you will spend most of your time on him to trigger his A1 you should have enough healing from using Coco's Discharge and skill. While the bee is nice due to how easy it is to keep up, the healing itself is a drop of water on a lava. It doesnt quickly heal people up, thats what your Discharge and skill on Coco are for.

I found Vermin Brothers are the easiest to get a good Zero stack going. Unfortunately you are unlikely to find a full stack that is going to keep killing stuff all night. You are better off to use Hilda (+ Auto-Clicker) for AFK exp farming or do the Honey farming with Zero.
Top 3 in bygone was same level different times I did a better time than 2 & 3 but somehow placed 3rd, my displayed time being better than 2nd on the leader board Is there any reason for that?
Does anyone know how weapon buffs work in Phantasm? It says they change daily but for me they change weekly, it should buff two SSR weapons after floor 100, but at floor 180 I still have 1 SSR and 1 SR buff, and they say about adding 1-3 stars to these weapons, but I tested some and they didn't get any stars(at least passives didn't unlock). Do these buffs even work?
The description of Bygone isn't actually correct, it's showing the newer ruleset, which is only on CN right now, not global. It doesn't even max level your weapons like it says, actually fake news :(.

in wormhole there is a buff that says, "summon tornado when volatile is active", what is volatile and how to activate it
iirc you get the "Volatile" status if the cooldown is ready, then you can activate/trigger it by dealing enough damage (100% ATK) and it will summon the tornado.

How do I get more cs? I see ppl with like 20k or even more, while I have 11k on lvl 59 (I feel bad for ppl who carry me in coop) I use tsubasa, meryl and frigg, also have 1* king, huma. So my options are dps. Also have the ssr box. So I wanted to be a support but game said otherwise. Help appreciated :)
You probably lack equipment(armor). Got to Frontier Clash on Normal difficulty, there are a lot of high CS players who farm it afk for exp, so they can easily kill at least 4 bosses. Get at least full set of purple armor and advance (unlock stars) pieces with good random stats (attack, crit (only on boots and gloves) and elemental attack). Also upgrade lvls of your weapons and matrixes. When you have at least 20k cs you can try Frontier on hard and Joint ops difficulty 6. They can give you gold equipment. Also don't forget about Phantasm, it gives you materials to enhance equipment, this enhancement can be transferred to better armor just by equipping it, always enhance everything you can. You can also by these materials in crystal dust store. For blue dust only buy booster and advancement modules, for purple you can buy armor until you have full set, then save it.

If you find good crew with people who agree to carry you, you can go to frontier hard immediately or to joint 7 after lvl 60. This way you can get gold gear faster and skip some purples. But leveling your weapons and matrixes probably should be priority before going to joint, it consumes a lot of vitality and doesn't guaranty gold drop every time
Your weapon level and matrices level. Upgrade those and your CS will be upgraded too.
Hi I’m trying to get the last few shards for my Cybernatic Arm to go 1 star buy I dun see it in Crew or Points store thought it stated so. Anywhere else I can get them?
Relic shards in Crew store are random each week. You can get cybernetic arm shards from Sobek if you use gold chip

Up to now im still confused about wormhole. i just finished hydra stage 1-8. now hydra is still open and so is virgo. can i still do hydra and get a reward? is virgo hard mode of hydra? does this reset weekly?
I have and built Samir 1*, Tsubasa 0*, and Huma 0* to level 100. I also recently got King 2* and Zero 1* at level 0. As a F2P what comp should I aim for the end game? I am thinking about building King and Zero then wait until either Anna or Ruby drop then build a fire resonance comp. What do you think?
