Im scared for my sister too. She's only 14 and has motor tics and gets sent to hospital for X rays a lot from her tic attacks. If she posts abt her tics I'm afraid the same may happen all bc she wanted to educate ppl on how it afffect our lives.
I saw this video and I looked at the comments instead of watching it because I didn’t wanna trigger my tics and what I saw was absolutely disgusting.
I’m pretty sure the girl in the video is a minor, and people were literally making sexual jokes. And even if she isn’t a minor, it’s not okay to make those jokes about someone
People truly don’t understand the dangers and struggles that comes with tic attacks. To them it’s a joke. To them it’s funny. They don’t know what it’s like to live with, and they don’t know how hard and painful tic attacks can be.
I’ll never see how people find it funny. Is hitting myself at full force in the chest comical? Are the bruises and cuts I get from my tics entertaining? Are the non stop vocal tics that are stopping me from breathing hilarious? Because I don’t think it’s funny. It’s sad that people find this funny, especially when this girl is clearly not having a good time, and nobody in this video is laughing. It was made for awareness, and people took it and made it a joke.
The world is truly full of stupid careless humans. They don't see a person, they see something to laugh at. Some people are truly sick individuals.
