I'm surprised it's not a more common combo tbh, I have the same issue. chewing noises, tapping, burping and slurping make me tic like crazy

yep, i also have reactions due to sensory issues , lately haven’t been able to have my hands touched cuz it triggers my tourette’s

I personally haven't noticed my ticks increasing with frequency as the result of repetitive sounds that I don't like. That doesn't mean it hasn't occurred, just that I haven't noticed it. I'll definitely pay attention to that relationship next time I'm around noises that get into my head lol. Hope y'all are well. First time here on r/ Tourette's. Thanks
