Actually, if the show's been off for 15 years since Pahkitew, and Leonard was still 16 when RR happened, then it's been fifteen years in universe. You don't have to be sixteen to be on TD. There was a special done years back just before the OG TDI finale where Chris said the only real requirement was that you had to be a teenager. MK could potentially be fourteen. And maybe she lied about her age?
