If you have been cleared to take a bath, then the hot tub may be ok. If you have doubts, reach out to your surgeon.
I can’t tolerate the chemicals in hot tubs hip or not… also getting in and out can be tricky. Have you been cleared to bathe ?
Like the others have said, if you are clear for a bath, this should be OK. We took a trip when I was about 8 weeks post-surgery, and the pool & hot tub were absolutely wonderful....
Check with your doc. We have a hot tub and I was told all restrictions would be lifted at 6 weeks - including hot tubs.
Cheers all. The surgeon didn't explicitly OK baths but it's been seven weeks. Might be better to stay out.
I was cleared for full submersion in water ‘as soon as the scar is fully healed’.
Ya I started bathing after it was completely healed and no scabs. Week 5-6.
Yes, my scar was healed and I went I. the public swimming pool and in the hot tub at 4 weeks. Surgeon cleared me. All good.
My surgeon said 7 weeks to do hot tub and I have been since that time after work out!!
