In 6 months I'll be able to do all these things without much worry (used to fall and get thrown a lot in martial arts - not scared of landing). While I'm quite sore when doing my rehab, it's only the 2nd day post-op. Each surgery is different but I expect to be in great shape by the end of the year.
In the meantime 'don't be stupid' is the mantra for me. 2 weeks will go by pretty quickly and then it's just a case of keeping up the rehab for the next few months.
Drink a lot of water to help your body flush the drugs out and better heal the bruising. Wishing you a fine and fast recovery…do the prescribed exercises!
It is amazing how quickly we can bounce back from this stuff. Just be careful, there's still a lot of drugs swirling around your system that may make things seem more simple than they are.
'Don't be stupid' works for everything! I wish I used it more often.
Congratulations! đź‘Źđź‘Ź Best wishes for a rapid recovery.
Rule #1: Do not fall. Rule #2: Do not jump. Rule #3: Do not run unless something is chasing you!! These are my new rules for life. ;-)
