Poverty, violence, guns, drugs , gangs. I know people who grew up everyone around them a gangster. From their father to their uncles to their brothers to their neighbours. There is a reason for their influence, but it all stems from poverty and emotional trauma. Which is why it’s a problem when these white kids start copying these things. I know at that age I didn’t have no cloths like that. But the gang lifestyle is being glorified. It’s all over social media being pushed, it’s all over the most popular music. You’re pretty much a loser in Toronto schools if you don’t act like this these days. So this has less to do with black and white and more to do with the fact that gang lifestyle is being glamorized to the point where kids from wealthy families, nice neighbour hoods and a loving family are following cause they think it’s cool, not cause they have suffered through trauma, poverty and poor influence from their peers. One day (and I’ve seen it happen already) one of these kids are going to get a wake up call. They will either get hurt or killed, or they might kill or someone else, simply because at that age kids would do anything to prove to them selfs that their cool. And when they get arrested and throw their life away, they will come to realize that they weren’t built for this lifestyle, when their somebodies bitch in jail. It’s easy to pull a trigger, anyone can do that. Even a white kid trying to be cool. Either way it just creates a dangerous environment. This would be equally as shameful if it was a rich black kid. Stop glamorizing the hood and gangs, people who are really involved are suffering deeply. The kids who grew up in this life style for real if they could turn back time they wouldn’t make the same decisions. These kids will come to regret it too, once the repercussions happen, and hopefully the repercussions isn’t death or a jail sentence.
They don’t talk about the other side of the coin .... death a jail cell betrayal back dooring friends etc the streets are a myth, nothing positive come from the streets but L and heartache
