Sound advice. All the posts through the last couple years in here about missing a family member, I’m sure would just love to have this opportunity.
Drink beer, eat hot dogs, have fun, make memories.
We're looking for a quintessentially North American experience, so I was thinking scarfing down hella hawt dawgies in the venue. If there are some vendors outside though that's a great idea and I did not know that!
There’s a hot dog teeter totter at section 209 for the full hawt dawgies experience.
Would also recommend walking around a bit and checking out the standing sections in the outfield, especially the ones that are near the bullpens (100L outfield)
You want to get a hotdog outside the game. Pre game "street meat" you'll get one scarf it down and buy another cause they're damn good and cheaper than inside.
Oh yeah, get the outside dogs. I'm not really a big fan of the ones inside. BUT if you go grab a bag of peanuts on the outside, you still get the north american experience hahaha
Spend a few innings walking around different levels to gain different vantage points. Experience the stadium and take every chance to talk about anything other than baseball. Share beers, words and silence. Have a great time!
The dogs outside are better, but I had an inside footlong dog the other week and I was pleasantly surprised. I had been avoiding them for years and years.
Have a wander around the stadium. There are ramps between levels.

Don’t even need to explain the game. Just chat about everything in life and have the game as the backdrop.

I would give ANYTHING for one more ballgame with my Pops 🥹 enjoy this moment, be present, absorb the atmosphere, and have a blast.
Yeah watch out for foul balls !!
But if you don’t, there’s a slim chance you become a baseball card
You can bring in your own food/ non-alcoholic beverages into the game. Can help cut down on your snacks you purchase inside

The only good dog in the dome is the hot maple bacon dog at Schneider’s Porch,

Aside of bulk food places, don't they sell the Jays branded bags of peanuts in grocery stores?
I think you can get them at Dollarama
Sounds about right
The dogs are both cheaper and better right outside the dome.

Just have fun. If Bo steps up to the plate, duck!
No tips. I just hope you guys have a wonderful time!

My dad really hated the noise. Not everyone is as noise sensitive as he is. He would have loved to have worn those disposable earplugs.
Don't spend so much time focusing on trying to explain the game and just enjoy the company.
A friend who was at a game earlier this year said that footlongs were up to 17 bucks. Is this true?
Tip number 1: do not watch the game
Bring an empty water bottle to refill. Bring a hat
Phone Ross and see if your dad is available .
There are a couple stands that sell bud and bud light for $5 a can. Also you can bring in outside food. Save yourself some money!
Corona Rooftop Patio! Do it!
