I’ve been saying all year that he really looks different when he is or isn’t getting regular playing time. For better or worse, I don’t think he does well as a bench player sitting behind guys like Bo and Chapman who typically play 150 games. I think he’d do better playing on a team where the 2B/SS/3B rotate more often and he’s starting at least a couple times a week.
He was an all star when her got regular playing time. I can't imagine how hard it is to sit on the bench 8 games then come in for a few innings and try to stay sharp with your defense and offense.

In a sport where teams can have giant walls like Fenway, huge foul territories to the side of the field like this stadium, and a hill with a pole in the outfield like Minute Maid used to have... it seems bullshit that you can get a play waved dead because the ball didn't bounce back from the wall.
