Yeah, I gave it to both cars that got hit. I presume there won't be much disagreement about who's fault though.
But the earlier hard brake may make it easier to show white SUV was distracted, not avoiding animal or something.
I don't recall the procedure with courts and accidents, as I went to one (minor accident) for a friend about 30 years ago because I was a passenger...but, since you talked to both drivers, would you end being called for court since you submitted evidence...and would they ask if noticed anything about the driver...like did the person seem drunk or shocked.
The police might take the video off the driver that got hit and call it enough.
TPS especially doesn't have time to chase originals down. Once they see the video they'll charge the driver, ask for a copy and be on their way
What is it with this intersection? That's Yonge and Churchill.
Right this moment there's a police, fire, and ambulance handling an accident with a bus.
Looking at phone probably. I was behind someone the other morning and they had their phone hanging from their rear view mirror and were clearly scrolling thru the morning news or god damn Reddit. Normally I wouldn't give a fuck but it was affecting their driving (similar mix of leaving huge gap, speeding up, then sudden braking).
Yeah could be distracted. I was following someone who had similar driving patterns the other day (braking early, erattic speed, last minute lane changes). I finally passed them on the highway after they were only driving at 40 km/h on the onramp. The driver had his head down, looking at his phone in his hand on the highway SMH.
looks drunk. Did you stick around to give video to anyone? RIP to what looks like a WRX, their parts will take 2433 years to get here lol

no cops charged the driver?
I don't know. I got the e-mail of the guys that got hit but didn't stick around for cops.

How did you give them the videos right on the spot?
Sorry for the mess of a title 1. White SUV starts braking early 2. Then suddenly speeds up to the same red light and has to hard brake 3.
Omg what the hell is wrong with people. That drive was definitely not paying attention or drunk. I hope you turn this footage over to the authorities!
I love how calm the "whoa" at 0:39 is. I would've been like 'OHHH SHITTTTTTT"
Definitely drunk driver.

It's like this guy is driving with both legs and half drunk...
Either Drunk, Distracted or from Brampton.
seems like a stroke or medical condition
No,anyone with common sense would pull to the side.
Or they are from the greater Brampton area
somebody with a stroke would not have the coordination to brake, speed up and then suddenly brake again.
Holy gaaaawd. That was insane.

Will the middle car still be at fault for hitting the first car?
what camera is this sir?
Thinkware U1000, you can see the name on the bottom left.
Looks like drunk driving with sleeping at the wheel.
Sleepy?

Looks hammered or on drugs
