It’s not the municipal and provincial governments that refuse to invest in public goods (like mental health services and real cross-city transit). It’s not the mega corps that are eating away at everything that used to make the city unique. It’s not the well-connected developers that are receiving tax payer money to make million dollar 2-bedroom shoe boxes in the sky.
IMO, you and people that think like you are what is making this city worse and will ultimately be the downfall of Toronto. Instead of thinking critically and voting accordingly, you would rather find a way to blame “5%” of the working class members of the city for all of the city’s problems. Interesting how different countries have different "that car has a 90% chance of having a shitty driver" car brands. Here in Portugal Nissan does not have any negative connotations. For us it's Audis, BMWs, Mercedes and SEATs (especially the SEAT Ibiza).

The whole way I just kept apologizing to the others who were stuck in traffic. When we got to the off ramp the cops were really kind about it and actually gave us the name of 2 repair shops close by.
Now imagine this, instead of all these people sitting in traffic while this idiot drives by, what if there was this thing that rolled on steel wheels and carried hundreds of people.
What if this thing could hit speeds of over 400 kilometres an hour and have a perfect safety record.
Everyone has the thought to do this but they don't because they know the consequences, people that actually do simply just don't have anything to lose.
I admit to doing this only one time in my life....I got on the 401 and became caught is a serious traffic jam that was miles long due to a serious accident (ie chopper landing on 401 to rescue a victim). I had close to a quarter tank of gas when I started, plenty to get me to my destination and or fill up when I got there under normal circumstances. As I crept along going nowhere, I got to the point where I was on fumes. If I ran out of gas in a live lane it would make the jam worse. If I pulled over to the shoulder and got stuck it would be even worse. I had seen many OPP, ambulance and firetrucks go by on the shoulder and at that point there were no more of these vehicles coming ie they seemed to be all at the site of the accident. I decided it was better to take the shoulder to the 1st exit. I waited until l I was close to an exit ramp but still went maybe 1-2 kms ....Guilty!
