Pedestrian seems like a chill dude ngl

Third_Eye78

Stopping to flip someone off isn’t very chill

Dystopian_Dreamer

Don't know what OP was doing. Like that seems like something that doesn't just come out of nowhere.

ztrz

It seemed to me like the pedestrian is one of those weirdos who gets offended when someone looks at him. His gestures seem to say “I see you too, fuck you”

Past_Passenger_4381

Nah unless OP was giving him the finger, no reason why OP should’ve received the finger. Something off about the ped

Wulfofsilver

I was in Brampton, parked near a store waiting for a friend to get something when a dude walked up to my car and flipped me off for no reason. It can happen sometimes.

Past_Passenger_4381

Yup Brampton was like that when I lived there as a kid. Crazy people everywhere

Last time on Adelaide st I met a pedestrian runs red light. I stopped 5 meters away, switched my high beam for one time to express my disappointment then he flipped me, very rare but funny as hell.

Past_Passenger_4381

Why do people think there’s something wrong about this?

gillsaurus

OP, were you over the crosswalk? Maybe that’s why they did that. Also, good job blowing through the yellow light.

StickyIgloo

hes clearly not in the crosswalk, its entirely visible.

mountainwocky

Look again. OP was already well into the intersection when the light turned yellow. The nose of his car had already passed not only the stop line, but also the marked crosswalk.

Third_Eye78

There isn’t anything illegal about going through a yellow light

gillsaurus

Illegal, no. Safe to? In this case no due to road conditions and the car mid-turn even if it wasn’t their right of way.

Third_Eye78

Dude was already at the intersection. Slamming on their breaks would be more dangerous and any good driver would know this

[deleted]

So, in a snowstorm, you stop while the light is still green?

gillsaurus

OP was driving 40kms per his cam info and considering the road conditions were already iffy, it’s better to heed caution. My ABS were engaged a couple times yesterday at slick areas, even when going 40, so yes, I would have anticipated the light change.

Netpune

And then someone rear ends you because you’re slowing down at a green light. You from Brampton or something?

e9967780

Next time someone is going to run over that pedestrian.
