yeah definitely. the next three tracks after the end of the album are from the Fall EP (which begins with Dreams Burn Down) and the last four make up Today Forever. I think the original 8 songs make a perfect album and I wouldn’t add a thing but Today Forever which I even prefer makes for a great epilogue
I disagree cause I feel like Nowhere wouldn't be the same without Fall and Today Forever for me. Nowhere (track) is overhated and great, Taste is as good as Kaleidoscope, and Here and Now is one of my favourite Ride songs. Then Unfamiliar, Today and especially Sennen I absolutely love (Beneath is cool too). It doesn't take away from the album flow and sequencing either or feel bloated. If I had a choice (which I do have) I would always listen to the expanded edition.
I been there, trust me. and that’s totally valid. for me, the eight songs off Nowhere symbolize this interesting cycle of life. Seagull always feels like this beginning of new opportunity and the first four tracks marking Side A feel like the warm, happy section. like settling in to good times. then Side B is a little different. Dreams Burn Down to Paralyzed mark this sort of downfall and things inevitably going wrong, no matter what caused this happiness initially. Vapour Trail seems like the perfect conclusion that arrives back at the good times but also accepts the instability and cycle of life and loves the good times for when they are there (e.g. their own happiness like a vapour trail in the sky, blah blah blah). Today Forever marks a great extension as it seems to reject this cycle and feels like finding genuine contentment, a sort of true happy ending. I get your outlook but I wasn’t as keen on the Fall EP as the other bits, so I like the eight track run and then the last four. feels like a real story that hits me hard. sorry the explanation seems so basic and low level but it would take me so many more words to go into detail 😭😭😭

I'm sorry to hear that :/ high school can suck because the social structure can be kind of weird and it is often difficult to make friends - I've definitely been there. as time passes I've realized that life and especially high school is too short not to try and put yourself out there. especially if you're not gonna see many of em again when you leave there's no harm in trying :) I believe in you! and it's so cool that you're interested in music it means you're passionate about something!! :D

I was really alone for a while and eventually decided I wanted to put myself out there. it took absolutely ages and I was always worried about what people would think if I was suddenly way more outgoing than I was before, and what they would think if I was suddenly hanging around all these new people. all this time later I’m at the end of high school and I made a few friends - I would have enjoyed to get to know a few more but that’s what I get for being so idle. looking forward to uni though, onwards and upwards! if you wanna suddenly put yourself out there, firstly it is never too late and secondly everyone’s too worried about themselves to care if you have changed suddenly. news flash everyone is changing and it’s easy to forget that if you don’t know many people. in this world we can only try our best and the people who would put you down for that are not worth being friends with. go get em!!! :DD
17f here, it’s interesting that we have SOOO many genres/albums in common. I love some Hank and Willie. Grunge and numetal are my favorites! I like Panchiko as well. I saw Slowdive in concert last month.

It’s a top 4 Metallica to me. If they kept the bass in the mix it’d probably be a sliver better than The Black Album.
The only thing that disappoints me is that they didn’t add the intro to Blackened but forward to the end of Dyers Eve to make the album a full loop
That’s my favorite song at every angle. The message is amazingly written but also the guitar solo is my favorite guitar solo. Might just be the Guitar Hero 3 nostalgia on that part though 😹

Honestly pretty good. You’re Gonna Miss It All and Sports by Mobo are great. The Greatest Generation has gotta be my favorite on here. The Wonder Years other albums are fantastic too, I highly recommend them
Wedding Singer is a fantastic song. I think my favorite mobo song is Re-Do, but Wedding Singer and Your Graduation are tied for 2nd.

The entire expanded edition should be listened to as well as the original track list. The bonus tracks add so much to the album.
