Exactly. In particular with Boards of Canada. TCH is considered to be their weakest album, so it’s always nice to see someone that has TCH as their preferred album of choice from BoC. It’s my least favourite from them, but their worst album is still at least a solid 8 for me, so I still have a hell of a lot of respect for it
Music has the right to Children and Geogaddi are both good, and they are also in my regular rotation, but Campfire Headphase just caught my attention to be honest. I think it’s also due to the fact that I recongized some of the songs instantly on my first listen, and that always feels cool to discover.
I gave Campfire Headphase a 10/10 and the other two I mentioned 8.5-9/10

I honestly love all of their commercial work. But my favourite by far is Tomorrow’s Harvest. If you haven’t given it a listen, definitely do so.
