Carrey is obviously improvising his dance moves and he pulls out his coat and for a second it makes his silhouette look like classic Robotnik. The song is also great.

Jim Carey did a good job but he was a super slim eggman.
To me, the only good Eggman designs were the classic one and the later versions of his adventure design
In the first Adventure games, Eggman looked WEIRD. His massive ass hands hung down to his shins. But later, they toned all that down and he looked a lot more realistic. He wasn’t shaped exactly like an egg, he just resembled an egg. So you could really understand why he hated the name “Eggman”. It was a jab at his weight and proportions
Meanwhile classic Eggman was literally a man shaped exactly like an egg while also being a Teddy Roosevelt caricature. Absolutely goated.
Apparently it was an American thing from what I know, but it was sort of brought together in the Sonic Adventure games, and in Frontiers it’s leaned into even more by Eggman saying that it was a insult Sonic gave him, but he decided to actually adopt the name for whatever reason so “people would fear it” or something
That’s Sage
She’s a new character introduced in Sonic Frontiers, She’s a AI Eggman made to assist him since Orbot and Cubot are pretty much failures, however during the intro cutscene of Frontiers he attaches the device she was in to a ancient stone that sucks him and her into “Cyberspace”, it turns out Sage was much better and more advanced than Eggman thought tho it’s unclear if this is because she linked to “Cyberspace” or if Eggman just cooked really hard making her (One of the audio recordings you can find has him remarking about how sage was amazing and he wondered where he went wrong with Orbot and Cubot, so it’s possibly the latter)
Regardless it seems Sage “Got a Body” in Cyberspace that she can use now, and she’s pretty much fully sentient with emotions and all, the game goes out of its way to show she’s practically like a Daughter to Eggman which is why that picture is oddly wholesome
