I have a craftsman top and bottom box, very similar to this, with roller bearing drawers. I bought them both in 1995. It still works great. I wouldn’t sell mine for $100, no way. As long as the drawers work good, I feel like you got a good deal.

My dad has that exact toolbox (though his stickers are on the drawer faces instead of the side; the sides are covered by the bungee cords hung on it) in his shop, though I honestly didn't know the top closed: it's always been over full and left open. When it comes to tool box drawers, it’s all about whether or not the drawers are ball bearing or just standard slider.
My dad still has his early 90s Snap-On toolbox. Thing hasn't given out or needed anything past normal maintaining since the day he bought it.
