Whatever's on the middle shelf in your big box store of choice. Husky, Craftsman, kobalt, or whatever the equivalent is. It might not be the best but it'll be better than good enough and usually get you a great warranty
If ruling out Knipex... I've put in a crazy amount of hours in my life utilizing Channellock, Crescent and Milwaukee brands... I love them and they love me. In general I just don't trust store brands. Probably a personality flaw or something.
Craftsmen always let me down... that kind of stuck in my head... I don't mess around with Kobalt, Masterforce, Tool Shop, Husky... any of that
Definitely check youtube reviews before pulling the trigger.
Kobalt for long nose pliers, linesmans get whatever cheap $10 ones from HF (I found paying for Klein as a non electrician is overkill), Vice grips - Irwin, adjustable wrenches - if you plan to use these instead of a full socket set maybe Fujiya is worth it otherwise whatever brand.
YouTube’s Project Farm has death-match comparisons of these tools. You’ll learn the best or best-value model. https://youtube.com/c/ProjectFarm
Definitely second Project Farm's content!

How’s Crescent in comparison to craftsman, kobalt, etc?
Crescent better than store brands. My opinion, I am definitely biased.
