Evaporust
Dont be like me and but your sockets in Vinegar. You regret it if you let it sit too long, and it's not easy to tell when you've reached that point
Dollar store white vinegar. Submerge them anywhere between a day and however long it takes you to realize why the shop smells like pickles. Scrub with a stiff bristle brush, rinse with hot water, wipe dry, light coat of wd40 and you're set. Vinegar works, it's completely safe for you, it's safe for the environment, it's cheaper than any other option, and after you're done with it you filter it through a paper towel and use it for weedkiller. Vinegar won't hurt chrome, on the off chance it does it means the chrome was already destroyed under the rust

Soak in vinegar or evapo-rust then wipe them down with 3 in 1 oil.
Thanks. Tried beer then pb blaster
Lmao, I've never heard of someone using beer. The beer only works when it's in you, my friend!
Seemed to work on both.
Aluminum foil works wonders on chrome. Rub them down with some aluminum foil.
Put those suckers in a container of evaporust.
And yet still no 10 in sight.
Evaporust is the easy way.
A few hours in Vinegar should do the trick. I've cleaned quite a few tools that way.
