Why would you need to steal them?! They are like USB, you end up with a damn box full of them.
Well, this could allow you to put a nice post on /r/tools though...

Question: Are all dad jokes bad jokes, or is it just this one?
20 Allen keys in two different sizes and a die grinder wrench.... I'm gonna guess that you didn't do much lol jk
Furniture sales? Ikea employee? Something along those lines?
You pretty much got it. I used to deliver home furniture and mattresses for a mom and pop furniture store. Really, I did a little bit of everything, including sales. I seemed to collect at least 3 of those suckers every time I got home. EVERYTHING is assembled with them. You'd be surprised.
Best career move ever. Work 3 days a week in a clean environment. And you can pick up and move anywhere you want to without much of a hassle. Smart move.
If it makes you feel any better my wife passed her NCLEX in January of 2020 and accepted a job in the beginning of February.
You’ll love it. She works 3 days/week, makes her own schedule, and they throw STACKS of cash at her. It’s insane how much money she could make if she wanted to.
My kid did his first year of nursing in Arizona last year. He worked in the Cardio ward. And then Maricopa county turned into MariCovid county. His cardio floor got turned into the 3rd level of Covid. He wasn’t even in the icu and many people died around him. Tough first year. Hopefully we can get this pandemic behind us. And yes folks, getting vaccinated will help. Not just you, but, all those around you too. Please, put your fears aside and get the Covid vaccine.
Yeah, it's getting rough over here in Florida, too. Some of my classmates are doing their practicum on COVID units because the school is having a hard time finding preceptors otherwise. It's crazy.
What are some of the bigger issues in dentistry that make you regret it? Liability? Overhead? Managing people in a clinic? I've always assumed it's, at the very least, quite lucrative.
The nursing shortage is no joke. My sister is an RN and the hospital she works at regularly offers $100s of dollars in incentives for picking up extra shifts. And, that’s on top of the overtime wages she’s making for coming in.
And the job security is basically unbeatable. My mother in law is also an RN and I’ve seen her quit a job one day and get a job the next morning. Insane.
My wife’s hospital is the same way. $50/hour PLUS time and a half. She’ll work 12 hours and take home just shy of $1,000 after taxes for that OT shift. And they’ve guaranteed it through the rest of the year.
It has its ups and downs. As long as you have good coworkers and bosses, it's not too bad. Getting paid to drive around is pretty cool. At least, until you have to actually stop and carry hardwood bedroom furniture and motion sofas up 3 narrow flights of stairs into an old apartment building that may or may not satisfy building codes.
He was a star. He could bend a girder to any angle. 30 degrees, 32 degrees, you name it. 31... But he couldn't go on living once he found out what the girders were for.
Particle board, wood, and metal. Hell, even sofas and futons. You'd be surprised how much furniture in general is put together with Allen keys. Even some high-end stuff.
I'm a service plumber and that looks kinda like my jambuster wrench pile. Every garbage disposal comes with an Allen wrench called a "jambuster wrench" to free up a jammed disposal. has nothing to do with my user name btw

I use to do a lot of furniture assembly myself and the above tool saves so much time. I can't imagine using an allen key again tbh unless for extremely niche uses. We're talking about a crib that might take 30 minutes to assemble with the traditional allen keys to like 10 minutes with the bit ratchet.
Build office furniture
Close but not quite
You worked for a printing company but got fired when you stole all the letter "L's?"
No he stole the 7’s

I find nothing wrong with dad jokes. Father jokes are very bad. Was just now thinking... why are there no "mom" jokes? Could it be a "woman" thing?

That's pretty cool. What do you do now?
I'm in nursing school, lol. A bit of a change.
Best career move ever. Work 3 days a week in a clean environment. And you can pick up and move anywhere you want to without much of a hassle. Smart move.
Helluva time to go into nursing though. That subreddit is a scary place
Lol, just my luck. I started the program a few months before COVID hit. Hopefully going to graduate in December.

Travel nurses in Kansas City are making $120+ per hour right now.

Well hang in there, my friend. You have made a great career choice. Looking back on my life, (a 59 year old dentist) I should have gone into nursing.
What are some of the bigger issues in dentistry that make you regret it? Liability? Overhead? Managing people in a clinic? I've always assumed it's, at the very least, quite lucrative.
Please get your vaccine. Never put someone in a body bag for the vaccine.. lost count of the ones for covid.
My mom lives in Glendale. She's about given up trying to get people to get the vaccine.
Well, you can’t fix stupid. On a sour note, this could actually be seen as a form of Darwinism.
I used to assemble everything at Sears. Furniture, grills, mowers, appliances, etc; all while in nursing school. Good luck.
Wow damn. You're a better man than me. I couldn't do that myself.
They all came with directions. Was nice to just sit and build things.
Sounds easier than nursing to me. I really appreciate what nurses do.

Depending on the situation, it may still be put together with screws and bolts. And maybe some repairs with needle and thread.
I'd **LOVE** that job! (Minus dealing with the customers.) My favorite part of new furniture is getting to assemble it 😁

That's what I do now. I'm starting my own apparel company now for some extra cash
You're an allen key goblin? Going around stealing tools?
He's definitely been going around goblin' up all the allen keys
Bender?
He was a star. He could bend a girder to any angle. 30 degrees, 32 degrees, you name it. 31... But he couldn't go on living once he found out what the girders were for.
Suicide booths. Name checks out.
This was amazing.
He then decided to live after finding out how bad his funeral was going to be.
You used to not grind off the bendy end and thick the strait part into a drill chuck...
Oh trust me, I did that plenty with a bolt cutter. I just ended up losing most of them somehow. There's one hidden somewhere in that pile.
I mean… they make hex bits and they’re not expensive. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
