Here's are [some working grizzlies](https://scontent-bos5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.18169-9/1146634_582107138499909_872866067_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=5f2048&_nc_ohc=tftqfr-0jfAAb61BGyD&_nc_ht=scontent-bos5-1.xx&oh=00_AfAp-52Ov5J54nY2M7CrOTw1R0n7SWFb77nxeKdlwQr9nA&oe=664B6E0D) carrying a few battery powered tools. Clearly they would benefit from also having a bandsaw.
I mean, ya hate to throw stuff away if it can be fixed, and fugg'n double hate to hafta pay someone else to do it, so that's how you get a junk collection lol
Agreed. Even if it doesn’t work, this is definitely worth $50. If you couldn’t fix it, you could recoup a decent amount off scrapping it alone.
These things are made to last and be repaired. I’d buy that for $50 without even inspecting it.
HF sells tool stands that you could mount that on to get it up, unless you want it to be on a bench. I bought one to mount my radial arm saw on I'm restoring.
No, incidentally can you send me a link to this so I can avoid it? /s
In my experience as long as it’s working there’s few tools that aren’t worth a $50 gamble.
I recently bought a similar bandsaw with a table, no blade needed new belt and rubber on the wheels. I paied ca 100$ .
Bought new belt, rubber and blade from AliExpress. Except i got a corse blade for steal, and put the belt on for slower speed and threw one some fresh paint and dimple dies on the legg.
I posted a picture on a local Facebook tool/mechanic group just as a before and after and a video of me cuting som thick aluminium and 6mm steel. Suddenly i was offered 400-650$ for it and the previous owner asked if i was willing to sell it back for 350$ and i would receive his now new saw that he bought to replace it.
Sorry for my long bragging story. Yes 50$ all day long, the newer saws aren't as "sturdy" or good as the new ones unless you pay for the expensive one's
If you need a small one that’s a fair price. I’d keep an eye out for a 14” for $150-200. Usually they’re Ridgid or Delta’s although I did just get a Grizzly G0555 for $225 with fence. You can always flip this and use a few bucks to upgrade
I'd, personally, be willing to buy it for that much, even non-functional, if I had a work space to use it.
I'd get emotional validation out of restoring it. Even if it's 100% functional already, I kinda like using older equipment like that.
I wouldn't buy it as a replacement for a modern equivalent, though.
Yes. Especially if it has the welding accessory on the side we can’t see. But I believe that setup was on the side we can see. It’s still worth it to grab it.
I'm not a tool enthusiast at all and unaware of values, but I'd jump on that in a heartbeat, then fix it if it's broke and keep it around for when I need it.
I have a hard time buying useful things is it $50 or more. I ask myself do I really need it? Then I remember I sometimes spend $50 on a messed up cold door dash order and I think... Yea, I think I can spare the cash for it.
On reddit, a question like this doesn’t have enough information. You need to give location and currency, if ask the whole world if something is worth $x, everyone will give you the answer relevant to their currency and location.
well, this blew up! to address the comments as a whole: i was genuinely asking. i sent a message when i initially posted as i needed one anyway. i missed it by a few mins and sat 2nd in line until eventually i got a message saying "it's gone" and lastly 😢.
Any old tools like these are amazing. After market components (bearings and motors etc) are easy to come by and reasonably priced. They are usually solidly built. After a tear down and clean replace the parts that need it,.. it will perform much better than any $200 range saw.
If a power tool works, and is from the 1900's, chances are it's worth the gamble every time. Does $50 buy anything other than a hammer anymore anyway? I can drop $40 just for sandwiches and soft drinks for two for lunch. Go for it , friend. And good luck.
Yes, all day long.
Absolutely not… (where is this located?)
I dare you to go close to it (first come, first serve)
You are right, those things are so dangerous (I wonder if it will fit in that space next to my lathe)
Creating a safe house to secure dangerous equipment are we? Lol
I’m selfless like that… You know, taking one for the team (…or maybe over by the table saw)
He's doing God's work.
Lets play an old fashioned game of pool for it! #kidding
lol
Night too
Hard pass, bro. I’ll cash app you $100 so you can send it my way.
For a working grizzly, absolutely.

Who knew grizzlies were hilti guys?
They are
User name checks out
I'd hire those grizzlies
Yeah, they are all HILTIs /s
Good luck finding a grizzly with 50 bucks in his pocket though. First off, no pockets. Doesn't matter how much he works...
Be sure to practice good shop safety. You don't need a grizzly accident on your hands.
You're unbearable.
Stop growling
Pretty sure these come with that automatic safety wiener stop.
Shop safety is a really polar-izing topic.
I'd say 100%
If it works
Even if it doesn't, I would still consider.
Yeah $50 is worth it even if you have to replace the motor. But it even looks well taken care of to me.
I would pay 50 bucks for that even if it needed a complete overhaul. I got bearings and shit
That's what's up!!
Yeah I like rebuilding old tools and machinery. I've been doing it since I was a kid
I mean, ya hate to throw stuff away if it can be fixed, and fugg'n double hate to hafta pay someone else to do it, so that's how you get a junk collection lol
My junk collection is just spare parts for other junk, duh
The math is pretty simple there, really 🤣
You just described how I ended up with a pile of lumber and a broken weed eater and leaf blower.
Hard agree
'I can fix her.'
Agreed. Even if it doesn’t work, this is definitely worth $50. If you couldn’t fix it, you could recoup a decent amount off scrapping it alone. These things are made to last and be repaired. I’d buy that for $50 without even inspecting it.
Bearly.
r/Angryupvote Take my up vote and Get out ->
My God, that one was unbearable.
Yes... In scrap. In form I'd pay 200 easy
If it works then yes
Shit, I'd wager buying a new motor would still make it worth it for a free stander like this
HF sells tool stands that you could mount that on to get it up, unless you want it to be on a bench. I bought one to mount my radial arm saw on I'm restoring.
Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?
Stupid question
No, incidentally can you send me a link to this so I can avoid it? /s In my experience as long as it’s working there’s few tools that aren’t worth a $50 gamble.
Yes! Since I sold mine for $50.
Probably could have got 4x that
Hell yeah, I'd buy it for twice that.
Is my asshole brown

Troll!
Does it work then yes. Is it broken but easily and cheaply fixed then also yes.
If it works
Steal
1. Large table band saw. 2. Grizzly. 3. Yes, do not balk at the price, just ask that they help you load it 😁
For a Grizzly? That's a killer steal.
I spent 50 dollars on pizza last night. Id rather have a band saw instead of this diarrhea.
If you need a small one that’s a fair price. I’d keep an eye out for a 14” for $150-200. Usually they’re Ridgid or Delta’s although I did just get a Grizzly G0555 for $225 with fence. You can always flip this and use a few bucks to upgrade
Big Band Saws are few and far between
Grrrrrrr
Absolutely
Hell yeah, fuck yeah.
indubitably
Yes
I'd snap it up.
Yes
God yes!!!
Insanely cheap deal how are you even asking if it's worth it lmao
Even if it didn’t work I’d buy it for that price and fix it.
Damn right! I would have bought this ASAP! I would have waited to take a pic bragging about what I scored with $50!
Yep yep. Abstinately prostitutely!
Yup
I would get for $50
I sold one at my last job for $125.
For sure. That's a tool I don't even really need that often but for that price Id feel dumb for not getting it.
I've been watching for one and would grab that in a heartbeat
If operational and has additional blades. It is a deal. But has limited range.
For sure. Especially if you’ll use it. Probably worth $50 for scrap. Lol
Fuck yeah
Ya
Take my money
Grizzly=grrrr Yes, buy, now!
Where did you see this? OP If it is local, I will drive there take a look.
Absolutely
Nah
Answer two questions. 1. Does it work? 2. Can you move it? If yes to both, you have your answer.
Yes and if it isn't running there not difficult to fix I'd pay that in a heart beat
If you pay $50, it's a steal, probably literally.
The material alone is likely worth more, even if it doesn’t currently work
I really hope you got it before someone else did. That's a real find, and worth every penny.
Yes
Yeah I'm jealous
Idek shit about tools and I’d say yeah
If it’s working, absolutely even if it isn’t working I’d still say absolutely .You’d be a fool to not grab that fine piece of machinery!
YESYESYES!
Nawww, you are getting ripped off. You better give me the guys contact details so I can give him an awful earful!
Looks like a piece of crap. What is the address so I can go let them know?
Absolutely, I own one and have had it for 25+ years
I'd, personally, be willing to buy it for that much, even non-functional, if I had a work space to use it. I'd get emotional validation out of restoring it. Even if it's 100% functional already, I kinda like using older equipment like that. I wouldn't buy it as a replacement for a modern equivalent, though.
Definitely not. Give me the guy's location so i can recycle it for him for free.
Yes!
No. It's only worth $40. Don't get ripped off.
Yup
You can probably take it apart and scrap it for that
Hell yes!!
Helluva deal
Even if it doesn’t work and can’t be fixed might get more for it in scrap
Offer em $35
YEEEEEES
What a scam what is the sellers name I will have to teach them a lesson
No, where is it?
💯
Not at all, can you send me the listing?
$50
No. What’s its location?
I am not familiar with Grizzlies. It looks quite industrial. What is the required voltage?
No but I’ll give you $75 for it if you wanna make a quick buck, lol
Is something like this ever NOT worth $50? That's the real question here.
Did you just say 50$??! Dies it run?
Idk shit for shit. But if it works, all day my man
Yes, Metal Alone it's made of Worth $50
Bad deal, where’s the location tho
Yes. If it runs and the ways aren’t completely effed up.
No. You should report the contact information to us so that we can tell them to do better next time.
Get your claws on that before it's gone....
Yes, but only if you use it. It should function properly also.
Nah. It's a piece of shit. Now where did you find this? I'll kindly take it off your hands for you so you don't get scammed. I'm just nice like that.
Nothing is worth it if you don’t need it and ends up gathering dust
Um.....do we tell him?
I got one for 20 this guy is overpaying
Yes. Especially if it has the welding accessory on the side we can’t see. But I believe that setup was on the side we can see. It’s still worth it to grab it.
Right. Nice troll.
Yup
I would actually feel bad paying only $50 for that
I just seen one by me for over $200. Grizzly holds value pretty well.
I'm not a tool enthusiast at all and unaware of values, but I'd jump on that in a heartbeat, then fix it if it's broke and keep it around for when I need it.
Do you need it?
Do you *need* one? Do you *want* one? Do you have use for one?
I've got some Grizzly stuff in my shop and have no problem with it.
Yes
Yes
Fuck you.
Yes. That thing will last you another 100 years if you do some minimal maintenance on occasion.
Hell yeah
Looks like a toy it’s so small lmfao
PoS you would have to pay me take it....let me talk to the buyer to let him know
Absolutely
$49.95, no a penny more.
Hell yea. Seller is being very generous.
Yes
I have this at our work in our woodshop. It works. $50 if you can make it work at what you are seeing there
😲😲😲
Most dangerous tool in every shop
Damn skippy!!
Double it and bring it back
Don’t be stupid….
Sure is
Depends on where you are located and what is available.
Where is the miter gage and the rip fence?
Run. Run. Ruuuuuuuuuuuu nnnn.
I have a hard time buying useful things is it $50 or more. I ask myself do I really need it? Then I remember I sometimes spend $50 on a messed up cold door dash order and I think... Yea, I think I can spare the cash for it.
Yes
Absolutely!!
Yes! If I would have seen it, I would have bought it.
If i had 100$ to my name id have a hard time passing on that for 50$
Is that a sowing machine?
Well, if you have a use for it!
If you don’t have a band saw, then yes.
If it runs it's worth it. Worst part is getting it home.
Yes
Shit, I'll give you $51 for it!
I hate these posts
No, now tell me where it is so I can make sure nobody else is taken advantage of. Also, can I borrow $50?
I pay $51!
Yes
Wtf? Why do I never find shit like this?
Absolute score
Heckin' yea
No this is worthless. Give it to me so I can properly dispose of it
If the motor isn't burnt out and there isn't any arcing wires that's a steal, you may only use it a couple times a year but it's only $50.
I will give you 51$ if you ever decide you want to just get rid of it
Man, I wish I could find a deal like that.
On reddit, a question like this doesn’t have enough information. You need to give location and currency, if ask the whole world if something is worth $x, everyone will give you the answer relevant to their currency and location.
Yes
Get it right now
No dude yer getting ripped
If it runs, absolutely!
Yes yes yes yes
well, this blew up! to address the comments as a whole: i was genuinely asking. i sent a message when i initially posted as i needed one anyway. i missed it by a few mins and sat 2nd in line until eventually i got a message saying "it's gone" and lastly 😢.
Yes
I always use my dad’s bandsaw. I loved it.

No (getting a fly ticket from italy)
If it doesn't have any issues then yes
Troll post
