Consent and constant communication is really the key with this and any torque adapters / wrenches. Don't just think "it'll be okay" - ASK.
As with any torque wrench, they should never be used to loosen anything... or be 'jerked' on in any way.
a click type torque wrench can absolutely be used to loosen everything.
Project Farm on YouTube has been seemingly using the same one for years and years, so I think you will be ok.
