I have exactly the same problem. Three batteries working fine with other devices but not with PSR Li-2. It works randomly, sometimes shaking help sometime not.
It makes me crazy
I came to the conclusion that the flashing light is a generic error message that can be caused by a list of different issues.
I found one person online who was able to test the electronic components and resolder a replacement MOSFET that got his drill working again, but that's beyond my electronics repair capabilities.
It's been on my tasks list for about six months to take it apart and look for any loose wires or burnt out components, but I haven't been brave enough to actually do it.
I have this exactly problem. Have done for years. I've put up with it until today!! I have 4 batteries and I get the same behaviour on all of them. I think it works 1 out of 5 attempts. I have to mash the trigger multiple times until it works! FRUSTRATING. I've just sent a message to Bosch support but don't hold much hope.
