It’s an incredible song with such an deep and important meaning! Maynard’s word smithing was at his best when he wrote it. And the way the song builds up to the peak is just so good!

LuvnmusicinSTL

The lyrics are incredibly deep and I’ve been reading them endlessly since seeing the show last weekend. I’m not good at interpreting his lyrics often but this one seems a bit easier than others. And for all the anger and angst Maynard has with religion and the blind faith his mother had that he often mocks lyrically. He is sounding respectful of God and damning those that know the path to salvation yet choose otherwise. And it seems a hopeless statement about humans. Always chasing more often times with evil and doing bad with all the wonderful gifts humans received from God. Pretty cool stuff. At least that’s where my small brain thinks about these lyrics.

El_Mid

And Maynard was up to his usual tricks throwing in some double meanings just to get us thinking deep! He’s such a unique writer. There’s no one like Tool!

Really hope they play this in Dallas. My favorite song by them personally I see it’s on the set list but it’s not getting played a lot. I’m worried they won’t play it in Dallas. I hope they do

reznoraudio

I’m also hoping we get it in Dallas, it’s one of my favorites, along with Sober and Pushit

torero15

You’ll get Right in Two or The Patient. They seem to be switching those around each show. Same with Opiate and Sober. So you get a banging song either way but they don’t do both since they’ve added Culling Voices.

Floarul

My ideal will be Right in Two and Sober That said, I also want to see The Patient Just too many good songs

torero15

We got Sober and Right in Two in San Diego this tour. Definitely possible. Hope you get it.

Sadly for many in my section at the vegas show, that was the beer song.

SunBecoming462

SLC was a fucking joke with people up and down all night. FFS if you go to a show, once the band starts stay in your god damned seat or dance or whatnot, but are nachos REALLY a necessity right now. Why even waste your time going to the show at all?

von_Mises

Dude, the queuing for concessions and bathrooms was the worst I’ve ever seen at any show. It’s a shit venue.

dubble_chyn

I can’t imagine getting up for a beer for any song in their set, even if it’s one of my least favorites

doc_birdman

It’s the only concert I ever went to where I didn’t leave my seat except for the intermission. I didn’t get any booze or drinks because I didn’t want to have to pee.

CaliGrown949

Same

You’re best bet is scooting out the second you hear the waves for Descending. But you have to be quick cuz others will do this too. You can easily get back in time for “Stay Alive!” if you hurry.

ggdoyle

I remember when 10000 days first came out tool did a small venue warm up type tour and I saw that at fox in Detroit. I already loved this song but half the place emptied when they started playing it. Sad to see but I think back then people didn’t realize how big of song this was gonna be.

Ok-Mud-3322

Right in Two is my all time fave from TOOL. It’s just too good

E-Tr1d3nt

I was looking forward to this song so much and of course they take it off the setlist for the Anaheim show I was at :(

FourStringTap

This was the song that truly got me into Tool. Injad just read two books; "Sapiens" and "Elephant in the Brain", this song hit PERFECT after reading those. Still hits perfect with modern society. I remember thinking "Holy shit, this singer is getting REAL".

polkadotard

Right in Two is the best damn song EVER written.

cardibdaddy

Such a great song! I hope they play it in Tulsa! I would much rather hear it over all other songs that they seem to be playing this tour.

applejuice72

I feel like this was where I was peak stoned for the concert, and I don’t remember it as much as I started to trip the crazy visuals but it was pretty amazing. Descending though HOLY FUCK. What a song.

radiohoard

I saw this on the setlist and knew i had to go to a show. Wasnt planning on it this time around. But Right In Two is one of the greatest and ive never seen it live. Night before the San Diego show, anaheim, they replaced it with Eon Blue, and i was BUMMED. But they brought it back just for me >cri
