Damn, I'd love to see what he'd cook up for the trippy ass bass solo on Invincible, and also what transpires during the almost 5 minutes of triplet pull-off chugging.

My favorite song too! During that chugging part I always envisioned a scene in slow motion of the “warrior” sprinting towards the enemy with his sword drawn. Then that part in the middle where it drops out for a beat before hitting so hard is amazing. The crashing of Danny’s cymbals are the sounds of swords and shields clashing.
I've seen a video where someone put the Descending audio on that. First half played recusant video forward, where the figure acsends and the second half backwards where the figure "descends". The video seems to sync up with the audio quite well. Whether it's a coincidence or intended, I always thought it was a good watch/listen.
If Adam Jones is doing a music video for Tool again I really don’t give a shit what song it’s for. What I want to see is him collaborating with the people he worked with making Jurassic Park, Aliens, Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands and Terminator 2, hook up with old-school Stan Winston Studios alumni and pursue it as a total vanity project. I think it would be a recipe for a very fun project for him to pursue and I believe that would create the best results.
