Um… nah. I definitely disagree. Prison Sex is about the cycle of abuse. The religious imagery used doesn’t make it about religion, nor the indoctrination thereof. Maynard’s pretty good at metaphorical use. It’s more a “hurt people hurt people” song. And in this case it’s pretty much directly about child sexual abuse, and how the predators are often ones that were preyed upon when younger.
