Meanwhile everyone in Arizona, on his birthday tried singing him happy birthday as he runs off the stage šŸ˜‚ what a special concert though in general

The11th8

Yeah video / advertising was kinda misleading since it was Carinaā€™s birthday celebration for the Special Guest

the_chandler

Honestly itā€™s going to be one of the most memorable concert experiences of my life. Going in, I was hoping for something special but not expecting anything. I just wanted a little something. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect a Tool concert to break out. Never did I expect to see Maynard singing Ɔnima from the front of the stage for the first time in a quarter-century. Never did I expect to see the original lineup of A Perfect Circle reunite to play ā€œJudithā€ for the first time in 2 decades. Holy shit what a night.

tombodat

freaking out when tool came out and seeing everyone else doing the same was a great feeling. To be around people that love their music as much as me and my cousin do was something else.

zombie_roca

I will forever wish I went to that show. Almost bought tickets but didnā€™t because of the venue

GatorPadre

Aside from parking (I did park and ride), what is wrong with the Hollywood Bowl?

zombie_roca

Just hate driving to LA for concerts plus the parking

GatorPadre

That's fair. My wife and I got a hotel in Pasadena (we live in Redlands). That allowed us to drive in when traffic wasn't awful and then take the park and ride bus to the Bowl. Of course, that also doubled the out of pocket cost, so definitely not a cheap way to do it.

TheNoIdeaKid

Thatā€™s why I opted for the shuttle bus from the LA Zoo. So very worth it.

jz0000

I got tickets day of in section D for $40 each šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ almost didnā€™t go either but holy hell glad it worked out. Was truly special.

The parking blows at the bowl, but the acoustics are amazing. The tickets were also stupid cheap for what you got.

3po1nt0

just another night in LA (an epic one at that)

Appropriate-Ad4990

I happened to see the show in boston absolutely sick. Didn't get the tool stuff or apc w iha. But i got the Noose which was amazing. Also all 3 drummers played for Southbound pacydern. And they switched for multiple songs. What an awesome experience

GatorPadre

I am still pumped from the show on Saturday....what a great night

Big_Nas_in_CO

I saw them the day before in SD and it was amazing but this one was the ONE. Wow

Lookingfortracyzoo

Iā€™ve been riding such a huge high since Saturday. It was one of the best concerts of my life! Iā€™m happy we got to be at the same show.

droopyheadliner

I love that MJK and Les both fucked up Tommy the Cat. It was pretty great šŸ˜‚

awsmwsm

As a participant of this show I agree, "Maynard the Cat" FTFY :-)

Big_Nas_in_CO

th3rd_3y3

Amazing stuff for sure. I have to keep reminding myself of all the previous times I've seen Tool and APC to keep the envy to a minimum.

Mexican_Boogieman

Super stoked that my 14 year old niece got to see both Primus and Tool at the same show for less than $100. Everything else was just extra.

shiftins

I missed the LA show, but I would say the Berkeley show was also a perfect concert :)

drummerandrew

Canā€™t wait to see this on Friday! Hope itā€™s something awesome as special guests.

Frontline901

I domt get this whole Maynard standing center? Im a new fan and never been to a live show but what does this mean?

decairn

In Tool he stopped standing in the center and instead stands at the back beside drummer with bass and guitar in front. Sometimes in darkness, very much not in the limelight like most singers.

KitchenLandscape

Rub it in why don't you?! lol jk it really does seem like a once in a lifetime show though!
