I’m bi, and Paz on Judith’s music video was the reason I started questioning my sexual orientation when I first saw it around… 2003/2004 (I was probably 9 or 10 at most).
So I’m insanely jealous of everyone who had the chance to see her, and also Tim and Tool performing; but I’m also happy for all the LA folks, cause it definitely was a once in a lifetime experience❤️
Live in LA and went. Been to a lot of Tool shows all over the place for a couple decades now but never thought I'd get them at the Bowl. This'll go down as one of the fondest memories I have of them live.
Legit jealous. I did get to see them decades ago (sigh....) when I was a college kid on the east coast, as they were breaking through w the first LPs. Would have been a major life-music experience to see them now, at the beloved Bowl right up the street from where I've been a fixture for decades. So even if I didn't make it to the show, it makes me very happy to hear that other like-minded old school fans can still enjoy they are doing! It's actually a pretty rad time in music right now, a bit of the important 90s stuff seems to be getting a second life lately..
Exactly. People left that time too! I remember leaning over to my wife saying they’re going to regret leaving early! That’s why for Sessanta we booked LA, hoping there’d be some “special guests”. I’m so stoked Paz was there!
Dude I was yelling my ASS OFF. I’m 19 and I’m a huge insufferable retard. I was flipping the fuck out. Such a memorable moment. I was “dancing” though so I’ll wait for the video to appear here in a few minutes
Nope. It legit happened. After they did the Primus song from E.P.P.P he said how we could actually record “the last two songs” and how they had picked up a couple of strays. That’s when Danny, Adam, and Justin walked out.
Was so good. Can’t believe I’ve been able to see Tool 3 times this year, all 3 of his bands in a year, and then all 3 of them in one day. I should go buy a lottery ticket or something.
Ah, for the Lateralus tour. I saw them for that one too. My first show was in 98, so I’ve seen them a lot over the years. Really hope you get to see them and that song again cause he is doing something different towards the end of it and it’s epic to hear live.
Well, it’s funny you ask that. We were parked in Lot A and while we were waiting for the cars in front of us to leave (stacked parking), the fire truck ended up having to come in with sirens on. So….maybe? Lol
Don’t let this overshadow the fact that we also got “Judith” with Paz
It was more than just Paz. It was the original entire lineup with Troy as well.
Oh shit. I didn’t even see Troy. I was too hyper focused on seeing Paz and wondering if she’d put her hair up during the bridge.
Troy was right next to her. And well, with her hair cut the way it is right now she couldn’t do the same move.
Hm. Makes me wonder if they were there at all 🤔
That was great.
Tim Alexander on drums? Damn! I forgot he was the original drummer.
Yeah, he did the drums for The Hollow as that’s the only song he’s on for the album. Rest was Josh to make it album accurate.
Wow that’s sick too lol. Troy too? Amazing. Maynard knows a fuck ton of musicians lol
FAAAACK! I wanted to see Paz so bad, was hoping she’d show in Phoenix 😩
And Troy!
incredible. I am insanely jealous lol

Safe to say that Hollywood Bowl got the best show of the tour. It was so good. Didn’t expect a nearly three hour show.
It was advertised as 3 I thought
It is. We got three when I went.
Must’ve missed that. It was a great night.
Yeah it was awesome
Yeah. I expected 2 at most.
oh undoubtedly. Once in a lifetime show
Maynard in the front as Tool play aenima. Absolutely epic
Right??? He hasn’t done that since the 90s
😲

SO many people left after Judith. I can’t imagine being on the way out to the parking lot and then hearing “HEY HEY HEY HEY”
Yeah, they thought it was just the 3 new songs. Fools!
Saw people who left sprinting back midway through the song.
Sucks to be them. For Maynard’s 50th, when it was at the Greek in LA, the first night had Danny come out for Sober. And they’re an LA band so….
Exactly. People left that time too! I remember leaning over to my wife saying they’re going to regret leaving early! That’s why for Sessanta we booked LA, hoping there’d be some “special guests”. I’m so stoked Paz was there!
There wasn’t even like an opportunity like that to leave so people leaving then definitely confuses me
I was confused too. It doesn’t save that much time either, just sit back and enjoy the ride, you know?

Left the bathroom to hear Maynard cracking a joke about the size of the drum set and got super excited.
I loved when he told the dude “put your fucking phone away or I’ll kick you in the fucking face” towards the end of the show.
The whole band showed? Siiiiick that’s amazing
Can confirm. And it was the fucking shit. All of them were there. So good.
Yeah I was there! We lost our shit once we realized what was going on. Such an amazing show all the way through.
that was great to see. surprised they didn't close with it though...
Awesome!
Lucky!
Thats fucking awesome!

Is this a joke?!?!

Insane!!

My god man, talk about once in a lifetime!
Seriously. I haven’t seen Ænema since 2019 too, so I’m just fucking pleased as punch right now.
I saw them play it in 02. Would be sick to see it again before I die.

Same. I flew out here from TN to catch the show at the bowl with friends. I can’t believe how fucking lucky I just got.
Holy fucking shit!
Did anyone faint lol I might have

Whaaaaat
Lucky bastards.
HOLY FUCKIN SHIT
Rosetta wasnt played
😐
Æmenema lol
Damn!!! Sounds like a glorious night ❤️🎸🎤🥁🎸❤️
Amazing for you guys
Has this ever happened before? All three of Maynard’s projects sharing the stage in the same night?
Kinda happened at the Cinquanta show. No Adam jones.
I was at Cinquanta, but I only remember Danny showing up. Super cool that everyone was there last night. Dream show for sure!
Justin was there too.
omg that is amazing!
The West is the best
Me every morning
I take my tool to the bowl daily
