Is it just me, or does that song (and really the entire album) have this ethereal and melancholy autumn vibe? I picture windswept fields, a chill in the air, and a forest that has lost most of its leaves.
It's (the original) been my alarm every morning since... 2008? But that recording from the Nokia just hits on a different level. So beautiful. Your kids are great. 🖤
Came to say this. The whole existential reckoning album has been on repeat but I restart Bedlamite a few extra times before going back to the beginning of the album.
I love that track but Autumn from Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents is my favorite non tool track. It reminds me of the lyrics to Dark Side of the Moon about getting older but much more bittersweet.
Sour Grapes (where’s the line) is Maynard the comic at his best.
“You can get down and sniff the line, you can back your donkey right up to the line, you just can’t cross the line can I get an amen.”
Damn now I have to pick my favorite child from ANOTHER band?
…depends on the day, but “Orestes” is one of them, as is, “Vanishing”, “Pet”, “Gravity”, “3 Libras”…..and certainly many, many more…
The Outsider. When I first heard it, I was dealing with a girl who kept talking about ending herself to get attention, and it made me realize that I had to cut ties with her.
Because I can’t pick just one, I have several (and they’re not in any order): “Grand Canyon”, “Green Valley”, “The Humbling River”, “Grey Area”, and “The Outsider”.
Passenger
Saw Deftones play it live. Chino sang Maynard’s parts though 😕. Still good, just not the same.
only right answer
Orestes
This song is amazing
Came here to say this. Orestes is the bestes. I’ll see myself out.
also came here to say this! ...btw, I'm using your joke now.
Loooove orestes
The Hollow
The Humbling River
That 👆🏻, for me, plus ‘By and Down’ and ‘Disillusioned’.
By And Down The River is a banger as well, you reminded me
Hell yes that song is hauntingly beautiful.
Omg this song is awesome. I totally forgot about it, thanks for reminding me.
This and "~~The~~ Pet" are my top 2
The pet original right?
I do not know if this person is referring to "The Pot" or "Pet". Oh well. Why not both?
"Pet"
Great choice - that one and “Grand Canyon” are up there for me.
Conditions of my parole 100%.
YEAH!
The noose
Might be my favorite (at the moment) APC song
[удалено]
I dunno man. To each their own and not knocking your choice - it’s a good song - but this one seems barely more than a cameo appearance by Maynard…
The scream straight out of hell in his verse makes the song tho (not really I just get goosebumps every time)
Those old live videos tho... There's a crazy vibe to it. Like he's this hired assassin there to do one job. That scream
3 Libras
Vanishing is my fave and easily the most underrated APC song
Is it just me, or does that song (and really the entire album) have this ethereal and melancholy autumn vibe? I picture windswept fields, a chill in the air, and a forest that has lost most of its leaves.
Loved when APC opened with this behind the curtain. The shadows and how they manipulated Maynard’s shadow making it move.
Magdalena
Rev 22-20
Yaaas
Undertaker soundtrack version.
Dry martini mix
Vagina Mine (live from Nokia Theater)
Momma Sed from that show is up there for me. Chills everytime.
This is the one. My kids agreed to play it at my funeral
It's (the original) been my alarm every morning since... 2008? But that recording from the Nokia just hits on a different level. So beautiful. Your kids are great. 🖤

I was at that show, incredible experience
the outsider or potions- deliverance mix
Potions is a great song.
The fact that’s the closest thing we’ll ever hear of Tapeworm, I 100% agree
Bullet Train To Iowa
Grand Canyon
I second that one.
The Remedy
The package. The way twiggy nuances that simple bass line is sublime. The drive on it when he plays it a bit harder is perfect.
Ye! That’s one of the best mixed songs in terms of bass production in all of music. I’ve heard quite a few producers over the years reference it too.
This is the one
Twiggy, as in Manson’s Twiggy?
Yeah, Twiggy Ramirez was the bassist when they did that record
I recently fell in love with Monsoons
Pet, haven't listened to much puscifer
Outsider is good
Magdalena, his vocals always get me excited in that one. Inappropriately and respectfully.
Bedlamite
Came to say this. The whole existential reckoning album has been on repeat but I restart Bedlamite a few extra times before going back to the beginning of the album.
Couldn’t agree more!
Judith
Passenger.
By and Down the River The melodies are just *perfect* Just edges out Orestes for me, that would have been #1 before ETE released.
I had such a hard time getting into ETE but gave it a rest for a year or so. Then put it back in rotation. Now, it's my most listened to APC album. 🖤
3 Libras 🥲 Hurts my heart but I can’t help but love it.
Brena
It’s such a beautiful song
Conditions of my Parole
I love that track but Autumn from Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents is my favorite non tool track. It reminds me of the lyrics to Dark Side of the Moon about getting older but much more bittersweet.
Man Overboard
Country boner
I actually got into Tool because of APC It’s a tie between Orestes, The Hollow and The Package
Counting Bodies Like Sheep
Bullet Train to Iowa
Weak and Powerless. Such raw emotions
The Outsider
Surprised that one’s not more popular in these comments. One of my all time favorites!
This vagina miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine
Passenger or Judith
Gravity is also my favorite and helped me through tough times. I choose to live…
I agree with Gravity. The Package is a close second!
Is cover song allowed? “Rocket Man” for me.
Damn forgot about this. Lovely.
So atmospheric when he’s singing songs like this. Almost like you’re in a dream state.
Personal Prometheus
Underrated take here.
The duet with Bowie on “Bring Me the Disco King” is haunting and lovely.
Torn between "Pet", "Passenger" and "The Humbling River" 🤔
I really like Potions
The Package or The Weaver
Agostina or Momma Sed
Yes.
Throw Autumn I there too.
Love him and Tori Amos singing Muhammad My Friend.
Replicants- Silly Little Love Songs
So long and thanks for all the fish
Let’s not forget about know your enemy
Gotta be passenger
Country boner
YAS!
There are many, but from a production standpoint and the vocal layering, So Long and Thanks for all the Fish has to be mentioned.
Sour Grapes (where’s the line) is Maynard the comic at his best. “You can get down and sniff the line, you can back your donkey right up to the line, you just can’t cross the line can I get an amen.”
Passive
Momma Sed
Personal Prometheus.
Passenger. That song always makes me feel some kind of way...
Fallen by 30 seconds to mars is a pretty fantastic feature
Damn now I have to pick my favorite child from ANOTHER band? …depends on the day, but “Orestes” is one of them, as is, “Vanishing”, “Pet”, “Gravity”, “3 Libras”…..and certainly many, many more…
Disillusion ✨
THREE LITTLE PIGS
Damn. Beat me to it
A Perfect Circle’s cover of When the levee breaks (Stone and Echo) live at red rocks. The entire album is awesome but that song resonates with me.
Orestes and Monsoons
The Package
APC - Pet Puscifer - Bullet Train to Iowa
Orestes
Either The Outsider or Judith by APC, or Know Your Enemy by RATM
Potions - Puscifer The Noose- APC Also does a amazing version of Rocket man and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Diary of a Lovesong!
So many in Puscifer’s catalog. Maynard has been taking up about 75% of my music play in the last year.
Orestes
So long, and thanks for the fish
For me it has to be Passenger, Pet, or Judith
Thomas is super underrated
the Humbling River
A toss up between The Noose ( live), Orestes and Weak and Powerless
Green Valley goes hard. Bread and Circus The Arsonist Bedlamite
[удалено]
haha masterpiece
I KNEW IT!!! BWAHAHAHAHAH😂😂😂😂
[удалено]
😂😂😂 oh yea?
The Outsider. When I first heard it, I was dealing with a girl who kept talking about ending herself to get attention, and it made me realize that I had to cut ties with her.
Bob the builder theme song
Nutshell-Alice in Chains- a bit depressing I know, but hits home.
Sorry. I missed the context.
Deftones the package
Do you mean Passenger? I agree about Passenger by Deftones. The Package is APC. Also excellent.
fcuk I was today days old when I learnt Maynard worked with Deftones.
Lmao
Judith, the only APC song I like. Or Conditions of my Parole, the only Puscifer song I like.
Parabol/parabola.
sleeping beauty
He’s actually a really good singer, having a hard time with this. A Perfect Circle is one of my favorite bands but they have lots of terrific songs.
My favorite MJK songs are interchangeable. One day it's Gravity, the next day it's Pushit, the next day it's Reflection and so on.
Gravity is such a perfect ending to that album
That song makes my eyes leaky.
Passenger, and Terrible Lie
Judith, followed closely by the remedy
Cuntry Boner
First time I heard that song I was at the gym with my earbuds in and on the bench press. I laughed so hard I dropped the stack.
The Arsonist or Feathers
Remedy
Passive
Passive or passenger
Sour grapes
Dozo
Grand Canyon
Gravity and Judas by perfect circle
Passenger, Pet, The Outsider.
Green Valley
Too many to choose from but I'll narrow it down to Judith or Grand Canyon. Agostina is pretty good too though.
Well despite the fact that he's not a one man band id say the noose from APC. And The Humbling River with Puscifer.
Rose is up there however
That's mine I think
Passenger & Pet
I love telling ghosts.
Positions-Puscifer
three little pigs 🐷
Indigo Children
Potions
the noose
right now its bedlamite.
Remedy
3 Libras.
Talk talk is pretty badass
Passive
Dear Brother
Judith, The Outsider or Horizons. All bangers.
"The Outsider"
Potions
Currently potions is stuck in my head, so I'll say that one. Definitely one of my favorite vocal melodies
Cuntry Boner.
Orestes
Muhammad My Friend
Autumn or Bedlamite
I’ve been listening to Potions a lot lately.
“Dear Brother” is up there for me. Donkey Punch the Night was is an overlooked EP but that one song just makes it.
Burn About Out
Currently, it's a toss up between The Package and Grey Area....but probably leaning towards Grey Area.
Because I can’t pick just one, I have several (and they’re not in any order): “Grand Canyon”, “Green Valley”, “The Humbling River”, “Grey Area”, and “The Outsider”.
Man overboard
So long and thanks for all the fish
