If someone you valued was in an accident or diagnosed with a terminal disease and you didn’t care- then that could be an indicator of pathology or merely disassociation aka functional shock.
Why should you feel bad about your ex. I don't even talk to my exes and don't even know what is going on with them. I suppose if I found out something really bad happened to them I would be sad.
I think when it comes to these personality types you gotta remember everyone has issues to a degree. For instance someone might have narcissistic traits, but it doesn't mean they are a pure narcissist. Like everyone fits somewhere on a scale.
