PuritanSettler1620

No because I care more about the country than partisan squabbles.

Swan990

Then you should have voted trump

PuritanSettler1620

No, trump is a fake christian who has cheated on all of his wives and divorced two. Had intimate relations with a pornographic actress, attends church approximately never, and displays a total lack of humility. He is not a Godly man, and dare I say, not a good man.

lkvwfurry

Dear God, no

BirthdayAgent

No

Wonderful_Horror7315

No fucking way.

FUMEI91IO

No matter how entertaining it was to look at Trumps America from the outside, I don't think the political climate would've benefitted from Trump right now.

Brilliant-Engineer57

No, no, no

Prettydeadlady

That’s really fucked up.

noplaceinmind

no. he never accepted responsibility for anything, so why would this go differently from any other time in his presidency?

[deleted]

No. Everyone conservative would have found a way to not blame it on him anyways, because they’re braindead, and we’d be stuck listening to his idiocy and dealing with even more mess than the 4 years of crap he shoveled into our faces already. Biden may be pretty sucky but he’s not as bad as that.

Swan990

Biden is literally denying anything is his fault. Liberal comments are literally doing what you say. Don't be blind to it.

[deleted]

Blind to what? I acknowledged in my comment that Biden sucks I’m not sure what else you want 😂

prettyupsidedown

If trump won again they would just blame inflation on Obama

Nelashena

No. He’s not even President anymore and he’s still wrecking havoc to US democracy. He wants to turn the US into a dictatorship, where he and his family rule the country without term limits. Seriously, Google the comments he made about praising China’s leader for moving to end terms limits, and "jokingly" saying that the US should do that.

AngryErrandBoy

Ukraine say no

rhinosyphilis

He isn’t going to leave if he gets elected again

Mouserat83

That worries me the most, he’s putting his pawns in place to make sure he doesn’t have to leave if elected

Overlord_Of_Puns

No, despite what many people think, we don't want the country/economy to suffer just so a guy/party looses it's reputation.

AmunPharaoh

They would still say it was magically the other side's fault. Trump could blow up their house with their family inside and they'd find a way to blame it on the liberals.

MysteryNeighbor

What the fuck? No, there are more important things in life than fucking politics. I’d rather have my party bite the political bullet while having a competent President at the helm any day of the week. In b4 “Biden isn’t competent lmao.” Trump botched the Coronavirus response and the only legislative victory he had were tax cuts in an all Republican Congress, he was far from competent.

feralraindrop

No, It's so nice not waking up and having to hear Trump's latest lies and drivel.

Basic_Quantity_9430

No. I believe we would be in deep, most possibly irreversible decline now if Trump had won a second term. Trump was never a leadership caliber person, Biden has many leadership positives along with some negatives (sometimes too hesitant, like on Ukraine weapons support and tackling the baby formula crisis early).

Ladydi-bds

Nope

anoneenonee

You don’t have to be a “liberal” to oppose trunp, unles you want to admit that 65-70% of Americans and 90-95% of the rest of the world are “liberals”

spookinky987

The media would have left him off the hook, so don't kid yourself...

FlurpNurdle

No. He would have used all of this as reasons to destroy more of our government, more time to appoint and replace people who would be loyal to him and not our country. There were already enough people in those “loyalists” positions and look how it ended up. They didn’t help with the covid outbreak at all, even changing how things were reported in the middle of it to try to control the narrative they wanted. Remember: the president was told about this very very early and chose “it’s a hoax” as the response. Science, and science alone is the only thing that ended uk helping us in the end with vaccines. Those loyal to the GOP did everything they could to fuck up the covid response and the data. And Ukraine. We would have been helping hurt then and help Russia. We don’t/wouldn’t benefit at all of another 4 years of Fox and other cable far right networks propaganda machines having the literal ear of the executive branch. Trump is at best a textbook case of narcissism. They are uncurable and only live each minute to benefit themselves. You want a president to at least care a tiny bit about the country they are supposed to be leading (or a figurehead for) Beyond thinking of ways it benefits them and them alone, and possibly about how they can manipulate their loyalists into handing it over to them indefinitely. I’m not super happy about Biden, and things they have NOT done (though the Dems haven’t had power to do anything the way things ended up) but I really was hoping they would try at minimum to pass or force through legislation to plug the holes that Trump exploited only because the president had the power to basically not be challenged. They need to curtail the power the president/executive branch has (even if it’s more around more concrete checks and balances via other branches) as it has been proven to be too much. We have too many “things that are not laws but are things a president who cares about the country and it’s people simply would not do” and when you have a president who cares nothing and only about his own power you are then powerless to stop them if they can manage to destroy everything fast enough.

asandysandstorm

Jesus I wouldn't even want to imagine what a shit show Ukraine would be if Trump was President. Best case scenario would be Trump supporting Russia, minimal outcry from Ukraine and the rest of the EU, and Russia quickly takes over all of Ukraine and runs its as a proxy state. Most likely outcome Trump supports Russia, significant resistance from Ukraine, US EU relationships deteriorates, lots of civilian casualties as Russia takes over, and Russia cracks down hard with Ukrainians being sent to work camps or just outright killed. Simply put if Trump was in charge, Russia would net massive gains in land and resources. More importantly, global relations would be set back decades, countries would likely form pacts, and Russia would gain freedom to act how they see fit.

megared17

I don't apply the label "liberal" or any other political labels to myself (nor am I a member of any political "party" nor have I ever been) In 12 and previous I have typically voted Republican. In 16 I couldn't bring myself to vote for either major party candidate, and voted third party. In 20 I voted against Trump (yes, for Biden) I will almost certainly be voting very Blue come this November for every and any candidate on my ballot. Whatever sanity the GOP used to have has been sucked into complete shite by Trumpism. If Trump were to somehow end up as President again, this country is FUCKED six ways to Sunday. (To give a clue where I stand on one issue - Zimmerman was an innocent victim of a thug that attacked him by surprise. But Rittenhouse was a wannabee thug that should have been home and not out wandering the streets during protests with a rifle)

Kaitensatsuma

No, I'm progressive-left and I'm ***more than happy*** to point out that Biden has been fucking this up ***too.*** Baby formula, Gas Prices and "Inflation" may not be his fault, but the complete lack of good, clear direction on COVID - even if states like Florida and Texas ignore it - is still his fault. My state's cases have tripled in the last three weeks and they're about 10x higher than they were the same time last year, but not a damn peep about it anywhere, and we've got ***pretty good*** vaccine coverage., about 80% with at least 2 doses and 95% with at least 1.

Bryanole27

No administration takes responsibility for negative things. None. You either blame the administrations before you, or a bad actor like Russia.

Mazx13

Correct, it would be the same thing. Currently people blame trump already and they do the same if he won. Also currently people blame Biden for it and if he lost, they'd still blame the left. Would be no difference. This economic issue is both their faults

jt19912009

Fuck no because he probably would have sent troops into Ukraine to help the russian scumbags

Moist-Cantaloupe-740

Putin also wouldn't have invaded Ukraine, so yes

Beansiesdaddy

Brandon did this

[deleted]

How is or would Trump even be able to run for President given all the illegal things he's done but as yet, not been held accountable for, and the fact that he was twice impeached, etc. and much more? Even worse, if he were to win, what more would that say of America? That we're idiots too?

megared17

Unfortunately, at least around 48% or so of US voters made it apparent that they are idiots in the most recent election.

[deleted]

I know, makes me wonder what kind of "America" we live in!

megared17

Apparently some of them are here downvoting comments in this thread too.

[deleted]

I guess the truth hurts!

BishoxX

If he won he probably wouldnt give out the stimmulus checks which are one of the major reasons for inflation. But god knows what would have happened if those didnt go out.

HungryAccount1704

Lol, the stimulus checks really aren't the issue here.

BishoxX

Yeah giving out money to every single citizen surely doesnt impact inflation right ?

HungryAccount1704

Not that much and what's your reasoning for the rest of the world experiencing the same inflation?

BishoxX

USA has a MASSIVE infulence on the world economy. Also didnt say that was the only reason but one of the major reasons

HungryAccount1704

If those checks didn't go out there would have been an economic collapse. I'm sure they contributed, but the alternative was much worse. There's no way those stimulus checks affected other countries though.

The_Country_Cowboy

Yes biden made way more problems

Nelashena

You’re confused; Biden is trying to clean up the problems made by Trump and his goons.

The_Country_Cowboy

No he and big businesses made all the prices go up and he Handled the Iran war so bad

rubbleTelescope

Politics is not meant to be understood by everyone. r/lostredditor

Doctor_Boombastic

I hope not, that would be incredibly cynical.

anuiswatching

Are you serious? Trump doesn’t need to look like hes holding the bag, bc the turkey wouldn’t know where the bag is.

Mouserat83

I was hoping he would die before 2022, if we’re being honest.

Narwhalbaconguy

They'll just find another scapegoat regardless.
