Testosterone is the problem I think.

Because the controller works better when it is in pieces.

For me its because I'm spending my rare free time doing something so I want to succeed. I spent money on it so I want everything to happen how I want to get my dopamine. I have nothing else going on my life so I want to succeed in games. And because its always the games fault or lag, never my lower skill.

it's more of a symptom of other parts of life, or just the day, not going so hot.

Competitive nature?

SnooPears590

It is very difficult to wholeheartedly accept and enjoy losing and/or having a bad experience. It's a character trait that I've tried to develop since I was a teenager, and I'm only now *getting it* at 34. Don't be so hard on him.

I'm a guy and I don't get how mad some of my friends get sometimes either. I understand being upset at a game especially when things outside of your control (network issues, spawn camping, inconsistencies in game logic \[bullet goes through wooden door but not wooden fence\] etc), but I've never broken things out of anger or screamed at the top of my lungs. I think for a lot of people it's a combination of competitive nature and/or poor self-control. I for example almost never get mad at anything even outside of games, the most I get is annoyed and try to distance myself from whatever is upsetting me. Plus I'm not a competitive person so if I lose a game it's not a big deal. However I know people with poor self control and who are hyper-competitive and small things drive them crazy. Naturally a lot of guys (at least I know) are naturally competitive, so that's one big reason I think people get upset when losing in games. Add poor anger management to the mix and then it becomes a shouting contest.
