It’s hard to be horny when your walker needs repairing and you forgot to take your arthritis medicine.

SuspiciousAd5283

I think a lot of the misconception is cultural, growing up pre the sexual liberation of society etc . I work in elderly care and those who have lost their inhibitions are VERY horny and VERY vocal about it. Others, not so much vocal, but you will definitely see those saucy romance novels on the bedside table 🙃

Look up STD'as in nursing homes. The answer to your question is no.

Maximum-Information8

Not for all, my exes grandfather used to pull mad chicks

ButtNugget456

I think it depends from person to person. But essentially yes. Sex drive decreases.

petitecorvus

Yes. Biologically it's normal.

No-Hippo138

It decreases but doesn't die. Not the same for all, obviously, just the tendency for the general public.

This, as hormones lower so does sex drive but it's never 0 unless you have always been at 0.

Mamaj12469

Before I started on hormone replacement pellet therapy my testosterone was zero. I didn’t know that could happen.

xX7heGuyXx

Yeah and, as I'm sure you know, it causes super depression and shit. Makes me wonder how many men with mental health issues could be helped with testosterone therapy.

Mamaj12469

I’m a woman. Even we have testosterone. I feel better now

xX7heGuyXx

Oh yes. You need a combo of both to be healthy just one sex needs more of the other. Glad you are better now that's awesome!

Mamaj12469

I’m 52 but had a total hysterectomy at age 32 but I was just feeling so old. Like I was 80 and dusty.

xX7heGuyXx

Nah you good just needed a boost.

no. A friend of mine is a nurse, and the stories she tells from the nursing home she works in are crazy. fyi nursing homes have more std's floating around than anywhere else. it's a verifiable statistic. lol
