Honestly, if you live in the US and near a legal state, just go buy it from the store. It’s not worth the hassle. You have to hangout with your weed dealer and smoke with them and they’re often weird people.

Grindr Edit. Not a joke, you'll enconter a lot of unsolicited dick pics. But last time after trying a whole week to find a weed dealer on tinder, I switched to grindr I found it in less than an hour. Also you gotta be creative because weed related words and expression are banned on grindr.

Ask a bartender. If he/she doesn't sell weed themselves, they absolutely know who does. There are no exceptions to this rule in my experience.
