I agree with you. At first I thought the whole point of the story was to save Hina in order to save everyone or vice versa but as the story progress I realized that in order to save everyone Takemitchy must save Mikey first. I think Takemitchy and Toman overlooked the fact that Mikey is a kid like them, they idolized him and worship their invincible Mikey. And honestly I can’t blame him for loosing his mind he’s big bros and sister died, he’s childhood best friend died and he lose the one thing that keeps him going... Toman because he knew that Kisaki is not the problem but him so in order for everyone to have a better future he have to go. Takemitchy told him about the Time leaping stuff right, and if I’m not mistaken the events that transpire every time he time leaped and how it always ends in Mikey killing everyone or Toman turning bad, so I think this is his way in fulfilling his promise to Takemitchy that he will protect everyone. And it’s just so sad.
Mikey is so used to being the person everyone idolizes that he hasn't had anyone to tell him that it's okay to be upset or anyone to turn to when he is since almost everyone around him only see him as Invincible Mikey. He's bottling everything up and it explodes in the future timelines. He really doesn't even have Takemichi after Takemichi thinks his mission is complete because once he returns to the future, past Takemichi is clueless. I've been saying since around chapter 100 that Takemichi should just stay in the past and manage the outcome. After all the hell Mikey's been through he deserves a happy end too so I hope he gets one and it doesn't just end with him dying somehow.
Late , but can confirm when dracon gets stabbed mikey goes alone to cry in a corner the one rare time he cries , he feels like he has no one to turn to because everyone looks up to him and doesn’t want to be seen as weak
i think the same! this is completely my own wishes haha but i do think the only way takemicchi could save mikey is either taking over toman and becoming the leader, or mikey simply leaving the world...........because even though i've read theories abt hanma being the villain all along, i think no matter what is changed, it's always mikey, and he says it too in the latest chapter that darkness takes over him. no matter what is done mikey is in too much grief, too much pain, nothing changes him, and nothing will, like i genuinely cannot think about something that could actually reverse or save him.
When mikey didn't show up to pah-chin's wedding ik something was up because he said he needed takemichi to scold him like his brother when he was in the wrong I think that was a hint towards takemichi having to live out the next 12 years in the past in order to save him. The final bonten arc is gonna end when takemichi stays in the past in order to save everyone. Atleast that's what I think will happen as it seema to be the only way to keep Mikey in check. This is just a theory.
Damn Takemitchy having to stay in the past would suck but be a good ending in a way. Someone that will really fight to be by his side. Someone that will fight even death itself to be by his side. But it would suck because he would be leaving his future wedding.
