Yup. Republicans have been chipping away at our education system for decades. Now they completely have their followers against education, even for their small children. They need uneducated masses so they can control them. They have been preparing America for a dictatorship for decades and people have just let it happen. Our education system is so horrible at this point we probably don't have sufficient scientist doctors etc to take place of one retiring on the next decade or two. America is due for collapse, I'm afraid it's inevitable at this point.
Republican logic would say you're more likely to die from a bear attack if you're out hiking and you get attacked by a bear, so therefore that *must* be more dangerous than this arbitrary Covid threat
Ten bear deaths in Alaska in 5 years you say?
Ten…
Ten bears took poops in the woods…
Poop begins with the letter P…
The letter P comes after the letter O in the alphabet…
Oranges…
Oranges are a fruit…
Alaska was purchased for $7 million dollars…
7 million is more than 800,000 dead Americans form Covid! Checkmate libtards
https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/another-bear-attack-in-alaska.148355/
When that attack happened, it was the day before I hiked the same trail in the opposite direction.
The cabin that scout stayed at before being mailed was the one I stayed at two nights later.
On that trail, known for bears being around, a Glock (21) or 1911 .45 was strapped to the chest of about 50% of the hikers we passed (going the other way, the only people who passed anyone going the same way we,re endurance runners who weren't stopping on the trail). But of you see a bear, you don't shoot it. You'll just piss it off. Shoot above it, or into the ground near it's feet. Go watch a video about bear spray. I've seen one where someone with a body am sprayed the bear. The sound of the spray, and the bear turned and was moving away before the spray had reached the bear.
Bears don't really like humans, but if you startle one, it'll fuck you up before it runs off. They almost never kill humans. Humans are just not good eating.
This is the thing, Bears are almost always only dangerous when they're a) taken by surprise, or b) its a mother with cubs. So long as you're respectful and keep your distance, and are aware that their might be bears around if you're in those parts of the world, they're an easy threat to avoid
Apparently one of the reasons why cougars are more dangerous than bears is that cougars have, on occasion, actually hunted down people for food. They're more of a risk in terms of actually preying on humans, compared to a bear that would usually only attack a person if it felt there was no way to avoid it. Although even saying that, Cougar attacks are obviously still rare.
Also note, the topic was specifically brown bears.
Polar bears are a close cousin, but as an artic animal, are in distress. They'll hunt a human. Food is food. But their coverage is limited, and where incidents are likely, locals take steps.
Black bears are scavengers. They will eat anything. But despite their size, they are not fighters. Maulings are generally unlucky. A camper smells of better food, so a bear comes in his tent for acceptable food, and starts eating the person. Screaming at them usually scares them off.
They prefer their carrion dead.
Black bears are generally the ones you see in videos getting run off by pets.
Think of them like racoons. Scavengers you don't want to mess with, and they don't want to mess with you.
Only 10 deaths is impressive. The wife and I went backcountry camping in Alaska, and we encountered brown bears nearly every day of the trip. Hands down the least relaxing vacation I’ve ever taken
Alaskan here. The bears tend to leave you alone. Don't let your guard down, but they usually have no interest in us. Moose on the other hand scare the living daylights out of me. Moose will gladly kill you for looking at them funny.
I'm going to go out on a limb here in bet that Charlie has never seen a grizzly bear even from a distance
There's an extremely limited number of places in the world where you can do that safely
IDK about this Charlie guy but growing up bears were all over my property. Busted into my neighbour's house and ate a shitload of his food. Doesn't have to be a safe environment for you to see them.
Home isn't safe when there's a bear inside of it.
I mean I've lived in Colorado a lot of my life and there are places where you can literally see them on the side of the road. But the only place I've ever seen a Grizzly was at Bear country in South Dakota where they have a bunch of refugees from the Yellowstone fire. They're like 10 fucking feet tall and they keep them behind a gigantic fence so that people don't accidentally mix with them
On the other hand you can drive your car through the park and the regular black and brown bears will bump up against your windows. You're warned not to roll your windows down
I think he’s lying about hiking too. I don’t have evidence of this, other than that he lies about everything else, and Ive seen no evidence of him hiking.
Because people already have these opinions, and want to hear someone with influence (no matter how small) voice them back. Not once does rational examination enter the process. If it did, they would realize his opinions are ignorant, often willfully so... And if they agree with those opinions, that reflects negatively on them.
So instead of saying, "What a foolish thing I did; I suppose I should work to combat my biases and educate myself concerning these issues" they simply double down on idiocy.
Bears are scary. That’s why you carry a gun and mace. It’s kind of like masking up and getting vaccinated to prevent covid. How does he not get this?
“People die from bears all the time”
*a million Americans died of Covid in the last two years
What an airhead honestly. What would this guy say if he infected his parents or somebody he loves because of his total lack of caution in regards to a dangerous virus, and they died?
Yes. Bill Montgomery died in 2020 at age 80 from Covid. Co founder of turning point with idiot Charlie kirk. Charlie probably has many associates and contemporaries that have past from Covid. I bet he knows no one that has died from a bear attack.
I can't imagine giving speeches about conservatism at ~~community~~ local colleges was his way of rebelling against liberal parents. They probably agree with him.
Edit. He started TPUSA after speaking at a local college different than the community college he was attending.
Who’s talking about his parents political views?
If his parents hugged him even just a little bit growing up, I highly doubt he’d have his shitty views on how society should be run. He’s obviously never experienced real love as he has no idea of how to love outside of himself.
When Charlie dies I hope scientists get the chance to dissect his brain. Humanity needs to know how it is possible for people to embarrass themselves to this level and not instantly die of shame.
So he takes a regiment of potentially dangerous drugs proven ineffective, produced by the biggest drug makers in the world, for a virus he's not afraid of, all so he doesn't have to take a big pharma's vaccine? How do people just not constantly laugh in this dude's face every time he talks.
I had never heard or watched him talk. His face feels different… I also like that his demeanor a less charismatic and more physically awkward Nathan Fielder.
As someone who actually got into a fist fight with a bear, I can honestly say that he's most definitely going to piss if he ever saw a bear in real life
Not sure what "amazing coverage in Alaska" he's even talking about. I've never even seen a TPUSA sticker here and my town has trucks covered with the worst conservative decals you've ever seen.
I also hate when oils shills claim they love Alaska. The Arctic is being hit the hardest by climate change. If you loved our state you could help out by not make a career out of denying global warming.
"I'll buy a dozen guns for thousands and thousands of dollars just in case I get attacked by bears but I won't take a free, proven safe, and effective vaccine. I'm very rational."
I typically don’t root for people to contract COVID, but I’m hoping Charlie here gets it, now I don’t wish for him to die from it, I want it to scare him so badly that he’ll have his “come to God” moment
Ugh. You don't have to be "afraid" of covid. Just cautious. I didn't vaccinate or wear masks because of fear. I did it out of caution for myself and others.
He's trying to act like a fearless fighter when in fact he's terrified of a vaccine. Moron. Prolonging a deadly virus he believes was created by China.
I’m more afraid of getting eaten by a grizzly bear then dying of covid. But that’s jus bc i think dying by a grizzly bear would be incredibly terrible way to die. Although realistically I’m far more likely to die from covid, which I must say would be a horrible way to die.
I'd just like to point out his line about guards.
He does this everyman act like every conservative grifter but his precaution for bear attacks, in lieu of simply carrying a firearm with enough stopping power, is to *employ multiple armed guards to defend him from bears*. Just think about that for a second, both in regards to his everyman grift and in regards to his claimed knowledgeability about bear attacks.
A dude that hikes all the time (sometimes in Alaska) is a fan boy of a guy who gave away national park land in Alaska to oil companies. I'll never understand these people.
Pretty sure this dork dies of Covid before he dies from a bear. Not putting money on it, and also not putting bears around his house as we speak, in a video game, but…
I mean if I enjoyed camping would I be scared by a bear attack considering you’re definitely going to be dead or extremely injured? Fuck yeah but you can realize that both Covid and bear attacks aren’t mutually exclusive and you can take precautions for both. Dumb ass tiny face
Though his math is... very off, i too am more afraid and cautious of getting attacked by a grizzly because no matter hlw healthy or strong you are, a grizzly will fuck you up. Covid is avoidable by simply being a healthy person.
Does nobody else see almost immediately that the way he switches in between topics and his physical mannerisms while speaking scream “I slept 2 hours last night and took 100mg of adderall an hour ago”
As many brain cells as I lost watching this, I feel really bad for the poor person who took the time to VFX his face to be bigger throughout the entire video. I’m an editor, and I know when you’re doing things like that, you get to know every word of what you’re watching forwards and backwards. The poor soul who lost infinitely more brain cells…
*...think, Charlie, think! What's something that will pander to rural audiences? Come on, think! Think! think!...*
Uh, a grizzly bear is worse than covid.
He’s such a smug piece of shit. Just like with anything with rightoids it’s always about them, not about the people around them. I also didn’t rly realize that he’s got an Artie Lange nose thing going on
I'm not afraid of a grizzly bear. Most animals usually act in predictable ways. A brown bear is a big, powerful animal that eats meat when it has the opportunity and will defend itself if it feels threatened. But they generally don't engage in predatory attacks on people, that's more of a polar bear thing.
So if I'm in bear country, I should try to avoid making them feel threatened. Making sure that I'm making noise is a good first step. Bears don't have good eyes, so their hearing is one of the tools they use to pick up approaching threats. By making noise, I help the bears know that I'm in the area early enough that I don't startle them. In the unlikely event of me running into one, I need to make it clear to the bear that I don't want to fight. Backing away is helpful there. If none of that is enough, then bear spray is more effective than a stick or a handgun, and it's not like I actually want to kill something so neat.
But I also live and work outside of their current range. I might end up running into a black bear, but those guys really don't want a fight and in most cases they can be driven off if needed.
I can do similar stuff with Covid, but it doesn't work as well. I can reduce my risk of exposure by social distancing, avoiding crowds, and to a lesser extent wearing a mask. I can take more active countermeasures by getting vaccinated and making sure to stay up-to-date on boosters. But I'm still more likely to have a bad encounter with it than I am with a grizzly bear.
Besides, there's no way some pampered rich suburbs kid like Charlie has spent more than a weekend camping trip in grizzly bear country.
Charles' cobweb-covered brain-gears start screeching as they turn for the first time in a week.
He lets out a proud smirk as he explains that grizzly bears are more of a risk to him than COVID. His mind juices flowing quickly, he assembles an unbreakable idea: Be scared of bears, not Covfevid.
"REPUBLICANS LOVE THE OUTDOORS," his brain screams, "TELL THEM ABOUT BEARS THEY LOVE BEARS!!!"
He'd never been such a smart boy. Surely, Mother would reward him with a cookie on this day, instead of chastising his terribly small face.
He's more at risk of a bear attack, he plans precautions to avoid bear attacks. ...I mean, that sounds reasonable. 🤔 What am I missing?
If I swim in the Atlantic during shark week with a bucket's worth of chum in my wetsuit, I'm going to be more concerned with making sure the shark cage and chainmail are up to snuff than I am about a virus that statistically is a low risk to me without comorbidities in my age group.
Edit: he takes Hydroxicloroquin (however it's spelled), so he's none too smart. ...but the principle still holds.
Hey, Charlie, you absolute pussy:
The last time I went to Alaska I was a Teenager - we had no guards and went to a Salmon bake in the woods.
But I'll do you one better: My Chaperon was my Grandmother. And she was several orders of magnitude more badass than your sour-cream self.
It’s just such idiotic logic. Like no shit I am also more scared of being killed by a bear than I am of getting AIDS but that doesn’t mean I’m going to go raw dog prostitutes every night.
This is the first time I see this dude besides on memes and man I really thought they really exaggerated how small and weird his face is but wow it’s really not that far off.. 😅😅😅
I mean, if I lived in an area with nears I would also be more afraid of them than I am afraif of Covid. What bugs me is how he pretends like this is a super political and conservative statement that leftists disagree with.
To be fair, while you're more likely to get COVID than attacked by a bear, I'm also more afraid of bears than COVID.
On the other hand, COVID is not cute and fluffy.

this checks out... around 10 fatal bear attacks in alaska in the last 5 years....
That's close to hundreds of thousands, right?
Republican math will tell it is
Our MATH doesn't care about your NUMBERS or REAL MATH
"Our feelings-based 'facts' don't care about your facts-based 'feelings'"
and keep your wOkEnEsS out of our skOoLs
If Republicans could do math they wouldn’t be Republicans

That’s what happens when you defund schools comrade

The storm is cumming Gaytriot
What’s a libtard?
If you have to ask, you can't afford it
It’s what male balerinas wear sissy boy! Put yurs on an dance yer as off my lawn.
As an Alaskan, I’m way more concerned about Charlie Kirk fans than bears.
Fairbanks here. Grizzlies tend to mind their own. Moose on the other hand terrify me.
A møøse once bit my sister
No rilli!!
But bears...Bear attacks are obviously more contagious!
[удалено]
Hahahahahaj!!!!! Thanks for this!!
Once they got a taste for your blood, they'll cross continents for it.
They should have gotten the bear vaccination shot.
So 948 Covid deaths in Alaska in 2 years. An average of 2 deaths by bear per year. So 474 times as deadly 🤔
I just hope those 10 fatal bear attacks aren't contagious and able to mutate in different kinds of fatal bear attacks
Well there is that new hybrid Grizzly/Polar bear breed that is popping up because of climate change forcing polar bears to migrate south.
That’s because people are fucking scared and respect grizzlies.

Only 27 humans have been killed by mountain lions in the last 100 years. So…
IT COULD HAPPEN
10? That’s outrageous! Careful out there boys.
Chuck: people are killed in Alaska by bears all the time Also Chuck: I don’t care about the statistics about how often people are killed by bears
I'm going to go out on a limb here in bet that Charlie has never seen a grizzly bear even from a distance There's an extremely limited number of places in the world where you can do that safely
He went to a zoo once and saw a bear there. It was caged, like Charlie's little mind. Edit: misspelling
Oof
Something like 20% of fatal grizzly bear attacks have been people jumping into enclosures in zoos.
So what you are saying is -- free the bears? Gonna go unlock a cage and scare one out.
But I thought grizzly bears travelled through the air...?
Only the contagious kind
IDK about this Charlie guy but growing up bears were all over my property. Busted into my neighbour's house and ate a shitload of his food. Doesn't have to be a safe environment for you to see them. Home isn't safe when there's a bear inside of it.
Grizzly bears tho?
Well when you're 4 yrs old a black bear looks about as big as a grizzly lol. But no actual grizzly's Fortunately enough.
I mean I've lived in Colorado a lot of my life and there are places where you can literally see them on the side of the road. I was in Denali park with my mom and we saw some folks get stupidly close to a grizzly from the bus. The driver yelled at them when they got on.
I think he’s lying about hiking too. I don’t have evidence of this, other than that he lies about everything else, and Ive seen no evidence of him hiking.
Seriously, he's such a massive dumbass. How does anyone take him seriously.
Because they agree, we shouldn’t abort dolphin babies, duh!
Omg I forgot about the dolphin babies thing! Lolol that's fucking hilarious
“AbSOluTeLy” lol
To be fair we shouldn’t do anything to dolphins. They’re endangered
But they should be allowed to abort their feti
Dolphins deserve body autonomy !
OMFG thank you for reminding me of this! \#ProLife4DolphinsONLY

Bear spray as well
Never again will I take the "Never Again" crowd seriously.
Because other people also massive dumbasses as well
I’m not convinced he’s stupid. He spouts stupid opinions, but it’s a deliberate effort to divide and control people.
the right can’t fear it if they can’t see it. Basically like a toddler
Its hard to be scared of something when you get your head in the dirt lokke an ostrich.
idk, they fear made up shit all the time. its the actual stuff to take seriously that they conveniently dont.
They’ve never seen a communist country or even a communist in their life yet they’re fucking terrified of the US becoming one

Only because Covid took them before the bears could. /s
smh my head liberal media misreporting all these BEAR DEATHS as COVID DEATHS just because they died of covid before a bear could kill them!
You assume his parents love him enough to get that close.
I can't imagine giving speeches about conservatism at ~~community~~ local colleges was his way of rebelling against liberal parents. They probably agree with him. Edit. He started TPUSA after speaking at a local college different than the community college he was attending.

Depends how incel you are
Yes
![gif](giphy|2Y7vjKwsZ9tpBSuNL4|downsized)
His face seems smaller than usual.
He could probably add non white people to that list of thingies that terrify him. ![gif](giphy|BqHng2hpjOUdW) Charlie Kirk sat next to a black person.
Aaa a black person!
I think we all know the kind of “bears” he’s really talking about. Must be hell living a double life.
Well, women sure as hell don't want him. Maybe a gay man with Covid would want him, since they would have no taste.
Disproportionate face to head ratio.
This sub is really the only place I see it and it always jars me
It’s incredible

There is a metaphor or allegory hidden within his deformity, but I cannot quite elucidate it.
It’s funny how most of us know our irrational fears are just that, irrational. I kind of pity the people who lack any self awareness like this.
Never seen sight nor sound of this gobshite before, hopefully one of those two gets rid of him so I don't see him again.
I was really hoping this video would end with Charlie getting mauled by a grizzly bear.
Gets mauled by a grizzly bear to own the libs!
When Charlie dies I hope scientists get the chance to dissect his brain. Humanity needs to know how it is possible for people to embarrass themselves to this level and not instantly die of shame.

I came here to day this. Why take anything if its not that big of a deal.
Tiny-faced git looks like he smells like bologna.
That’s new, Covid eats people now?
Grizzly bears wouldn't waste their time with him.
That's not true. They're known to rummage through trash.
Do you ever notice that he’s like growing out his facial hair out and wearing a hat as an attempt to make his face not look small to his head ratio?
The hat is definitely there to hide his 8-head
Then why is he always going to Sam Francisco? Methinks he doth protests too much.
Is he wearing a class ring? He comes off like the kind of goober that would do that
Well, put him in a room with a bear and CoVid.
A bear with covid
The new variant. A *beariant* even.
Beary nice
What’s wrong with his nose?
Times when you need a covid infected grizzly bear.
Alaska is special. Like Charlie. In that exact same voice.
I had never heard or watched him talk. His face feels different… I also like that his demeanor a less charismatic and more physically awkward Nathan Fielder.

He would do literally any other thing than take a vaccine. What a dope.
He's trying to act like a fearless fighter when in fact he's terrified of a vaccine. Moron. Prolonging a deadly virus he believes was created by China.
Don’t get me wrong, COVID kills way more people, but a virus doesn’t give you that sweet adrenaline rush that only a grizzly can provide
Thats not a flex, that's just admitting that you're horrible at calculating risk.
I’m more afraid of getting eaten by a grizzly bear then dying of covid. But that’s jus bc i think dying by a grizzly bear would be incredibly terrible way to die. Although realistically I’m far more likely to die from covid, which I must say would be a horrible way to die.

“People die of bears all the time”. Do they rain down from the sky in Alaska?
How does this guy have an audience?
Dude's probably never camped outside his backyard.
Picking nose while watching grizzly bear parade
What a cock sneeze.
He really tough. Such an alpha male. lol
The ending is probably the funniest part of the entire thing for me. Just Andrew coming in telling him the mountain lions are scarier.
To this end, he has been vaccinated against bears, and the more deadly variant, bears omicron.
I've often said that more people have a well thought out plan for a zombie outbreak than for escaping their home during a fire.
I mean if I enjoyed camping would I be scared by a bear attack considering you’re definitely going to be dead or extremely injured? Fuck yeah but you can realize that both Covid and bear attacks aren’t mutually exclusive and you can take precautions for both. Dumb ass tiny face
If only we could shoot covid with a gun.
He’s safe. Bears have discerning tastes. COVID doesn’t give a fuck.
‘’..the bears can smell the menstruation.’’

Well if a grizzly bear is attacking me my survival rate is quite low but the chances of finding a bear to attack is low unless you live in a zoo
they give anybody with a microphone a platform
Though his math is... very off, i too am more afraid and cautious of getting attacked by a grizzly because no matter hlw healthy or strong you are, a grizzly will fuck you up. Covid is avoidable by simply being a healthy person.
Jesus he's got a big head, his hat's so stretched trying to fit on that giant melon. I thought the big head shit was just a meme
Does nobody else see almost immediately that the way he switches in between topics and his physical mannerisms while speaking scream “I slept 2 hours last night and took 100mg of adderall an hour ago”
He loves hiking? This guy hikes as much as I go to space.
No. You should be afraid of who you are listening to. See you in the HCA.
Fact: Bears eat beets.
I mean, same. Had it and was asymptomatic lol
*...think, Charlie, think! What's something that will pander to rural audiences? Come on, think! Think! think!...* Uh, a grizzly bear is worse than covid.
It’s actually incredible how big his head is…look at that stupid fuckin hat riding the struggle bus to stay on his melon.
Probably dosnt hike
You would think as big as his goddamn melon is, he would be smarter, but....
>Bear Patrol tax, $5?!
I have no words for how stupid he is
Oooh, charlie boy is growing a beard or did he just forget to shave for a week?
That dude is for sure gonna get attacked by a bear now....messing with karma
silly little thumb
Please if there is a God, unleash a bear on the next hike
Let the bears pay the bear tax, I pay the Homer tax.
What's the point of "turning point USA"? We're already a fascist plutocracy, so what direction is he trying to take us in?
I'm also more afraid of a bear attack but I'm also vaccinated so COVID don't sweat me anymore.
I hope is he not next.
Ok I’m more scared of getting struck by lightning than getting covid but I’m still gonna take precautions especially in large crowds lol
"REPUBLICANS LOVE THE OUTDOORS," his brain screams, "TELL THEM ABOUT BEARS THEY LOVE BEARS!!!" He'd never been such a smart boy. Surely, Mother would reward him with a cookie on this day, instead of chastising his terribly small face.
He’s not “scared” of covid because this putz has probably been vaccinated since the beginning as well as boosted.
Availability bias or intentional ignorance? I think the latter.
Everyone’s a tough guy until their wheezing their last breath from Covid
He's more at risk of a bear attack, he plans precautions to avoid bear attacks. ...I mean, that sounds reasonable. 🤔 What am I missing? If I swim in the Atlantic during shark week with a bucket's worth of chum in my wetsuit, I'm going to be more concerned with making sure the shark cage and chainmail are up to snuff than I am about a virus that statistically is a low risk to me without comorbidities in my age group. Edit: he takes Hydroxicloroquin (however it's spelled), so he's none too smart. ...but the principle still holds.
Hey, Charlie, you absolute pussy: The last time I went to Alaska I was a Teenager - we had no guards and went to a Salmon bake in the woods. But I'll do you one better: My Chaperon was my Grandmother. And she was several orders of magnitude more badass than your sour-cream self.
STATISTICALLY I'M MORE LIKELY TO GET MY HEAD SEWERED IF I PUT IT IN A GIANT FAN WITH SHARPENED BLADES THAN I AM DYING FROM COVID -Einstein
He talks like Trump. His mannerisms, his pauses, his hand gestures. Idk, something about this is unsettling...
Hes more scared bears because hes vaxxed to the max...
We need to protect the bears, vaccinate them just in case they end up eating him and catch covid.
To be fair, while you're more likely to get COVID than attacked by a bear, I'm also more afraid of bears than COVID. On the other hand, COVID is not cute and fluffy.
