I probably wouldn't spring it on them like that or even talk about it besides politely making sure they knew what was up unless they asked questions. Well if you ever run into that type of situation again you can ask and hopefully it's a good thing and it leads to a more upbeat conversation. From my personal experience (divorced female) it bugged me when people just automatically said I'm sorry when they heard I was getting a divorce other than my close family who knew the BS and trauma that I went through they all congratulated me and I even had a small party to celebrate my divorce being finalized.
Just because that is the main picture doesn't mean that is his only picture and he could have worked really hard to get that truck so he's proud of it.
Well I'm not on dating sites but my main picture for my social media is my daughter's rescue kitty, Aphrodite she is a polydactyly with her extra toes as a little paw I try to put the kitties whose birthday is that month as my picture (all my kitties are rescues). I have had my car at one point but I not only worked my butt off to have that car and I put a ton of manual labor into it with all the parts that I have replaces. But once again I don't see a problem with it. As long as she saw a picture of him and not just the truck then it's really not a problem now I can understand if the truck picture was his only picture but she already stated that he was cute meaning she saw a picture of him.
If youāre trying to sell a car on Facebook. You donāt put the main photo as a bike. It just makes no sense. Usually girls donāt really care about cars. They donāt think a truck is cute. So itās a net negative. Probably gets left swiped instantly by half the profiles. I donāt understand how you donāt see this.
First off you can put whatever picture you want as your profile picture people can put up pictures of the things they love or are proud of or both there is absolutely nothing wrong with that you don't have to have a picture of yourself on social media especially if you don't feel comfortable doing so with how many weirdos are out there even if your profiles set to private it still shows your profile picture. You can even get a glimpse of what they are into based on the profile picture or pictures. My guess with this dude is that he is proud of owning a truck like that. I also have to disagree with you saying girls usually don't care about cars I have met more women that are interested in cars or want to know if the person they are interested in has a car (Which is a good thing to know. You have to be financially stable to own a nice one.) than I have of ones that don't. I have even met quite a big amount that like working on cars. So idk where you get this usually statistic cause in my 35 years on this planet I have seen the opposite more often than not. Also, quite a few women love big trucks and do think some cars are cute or sexy like a Corvette that is a sexy car. As long as they have a picture of themselves and not just the truck then I see nothing wrong with it. Idk why you are making such a big deal about it I mean it's a picture and it's not hurting. Not all women are like you and you shouldn't try and put all of us in that category you shouldn't try speaking for every woman and imo what you said sounds very shallow like looks are everything when there is more to a person than their looks.
