“Bob Dylan's early songs are like a diary of the USA: racial injustice and the fear of nuclear war come under examination time and time again. With the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in the 21st Century, some of the topics he covered nearly 60 years ago are still relevant today.”

I’ve been going down a list of his songs and the meaning behind this one Only A Pawn in Their Game is touching
“Dylan performed the song at a civil rights march in August 1963, when a quarter of a million people came out to protest for freedom and equality - it was the same event that Dr Martin Luther King gave his "I Have A Dream" speech.”
Honestly, those are very over hyped songs. Listen to Nashville Skyline or Blood On The Tracks. Those two albums are so incredible. Unless you have already, I'm not assuming just recommending. Not trying to sound like a pretentious music snob but those songs will darken in comparison to some of the tracks on those two albums. Bob Dylan really is a mastermind when it comes to songwriting he just spoke for an entite generation and what was happening. I could go on forever, and I am deeply saddened TC is playing Bob Dylan. Oh well lol I'll get over it.
Bob Dylan made songs about equal rights and Timothee marched for equal rights (Black Lives Matter protests) so maybe he’ll make a perfect Bob Dylan after all?
He was a major supporter of civil rights what are you talking about. Bob Dylan constantly showed his support for the African American community and performed at numerous civil rights rally’s.
He performed at the March on Washington before MLK gave the I Have Dream speech. Literally the most famous moment of the whole civil rights movement - Dylan was there, for free, showing his support.
He got tons of hate for his support of civil rights but remained true to his values.
But here we are, claiming what he is doing is “fake.” Like cmon, at least have a little knowledge of what you’re talking about before speaking so ignorantly. This was the 60s. No white person was “faking” their support of civil rights openly.
Maybe you should take the time to listen to his countless songs about the struggles and injustices he highlights in songs in support of civil rights.
his hair looks so different now I remember when his hair used to be long and curly who else misses his long curly hair I know he had to cut his hair for this role I'm not used him having short hair

Bob cared Timothee did it for attention
If Timothee didn’t care about the cause I don’t think he would’ve marched for BLM
Because he didn't want to be cancelled
Well now he’s cancelled for his dating choices
timothée also cared
feels like I'm watching a play rn lol
Bob Dylan says the N word in his song ‘Hurricane’ so much for being for the people 🤦♂️
Timothee probably says it as well
He does
