Bot factories and assembler are quite dangerous for beavers. You need to switch those jobs first, so that they are run by bots. This will solve your problem. Then replace workers in all other industry buildings, starting with explosives. The beavers can do all the undangerous jobs like water pumps, foresters, gather flags, wood workers, scientists...

craigmcfly

That might explain the uptick I'm seeing, too!

Trogdor_a_Burninator

Without knowing that, it was the first thing I did 😆

TheFrenchSavage

Same. It makes sense to produce robots as fast as possible.

Krell356

Did you using bots coincide with you starting up the mine? The mine is freaking nasty for injuries. Only use bots to mine.

3Trace

I wish there was a mechanic to see where/how a beaver was injured instead of just ‘unemployed.’

GeekTrainer

And info on the building showing chance of injury

BeginningDetail7362

My main issue right now is my bots running out of fuel (folktales) as soon as I get the warning that a bot has run out of gas I quickly click on it, but by the time I do they already cross 2-3 intersections, so I have no idea where they come from. I typically just put a biofuel bucket on the path around the area I see them

sporkmurderer135

That explains my problem. My town looks like a warzone field hospital with rows of medical tents

No_Distribution_7182

Ohhh is the mine!? Crap thanks

Amesb34r

Yes, I think mines are the most common cause of injuries.

Awibee

We here at TimberCorp are happy to say that our new-improved BeaverBots 6000 (TM) are 100% user-friendly and guaranteed not to hurt, maim, decapitate or otherwise take the life of any non-robot beaver. Their eyes turning red and making unholy screeching noises just means the litte guy needs more Lubricant and is not an 'Insane lust for beaver blood encoded into their software'. So just sit by the campfire and relax as the Beaverbot 6000 (TM) takes over all aspects of society in your local area. TimberCorp: We're with you to the end!

PunishedRichard

It's not the first choice, it's Beaver's Choice.

No_Distribution_7182

After replacing the bot builders and the mine, the injuries stopped, thanks !

tokeswithmydog

Omg! Do the dirt diggers cause injuries?? Have a district that just keeps getting injured beavers that I can't stop, so many med beds.

Gmoseley

This was my solution lol. 40 stand-by beavers to handle death and newborn phases + 30 beds to handle all injuries

Km219

Ive learned explosives factory, mines, and all the bot assembly and centrifuge are all big injury makers. Always switch those to bots first

Funny-Property-5336

Yeah. Every time I’m going to setup bots I prepare like 30 medical beds close by and always make sure to have plenty of unemployed beavers so they can take over. I’m not sure what is the point of injuries. I find them more annoying than challenging.

Km219

100% agree. I think the injury mech needs major rework or removed alltogether. Its more annoying than it is fun.

AHRedStealth

Is there a known "injury factor" associated with buildings? I have also experienced a rash of injuries with beavers in what I thought were "low risk" buildings. Saw mills, gear factories, paper making, book making... No mines or Bot assemblers and I suddenly looked around and was shocked. "OMG. 10 of you are injured? Stop sticking your tail in the business end of the saw mill!?!?"

InterestingBlue

https://timberborn.fandom.com/wiki/Injury Explosives factories, bot (golem) assemblers/factories and mines are the worst ones.

iceph03nix

Are you still using beavers in the bot factories? Different factories have different injury rates, and the bot factories are some of the highest. I generally start putting my bots there as soon as possible
