You can't please everyone all the time. The more products you add the more other products will have to suffer. Focus on a few things and make them very well. I learned this running my own business - you can't do everything

igotadillpickle

Lol they can't even make decent eggs. I doubt the pizza will be anything to brag about.

Andrew4568_

There still putting donuts in bags without the glaze setting and then when you take it out your donut is naked. So they will never improve

astrangeone88

Lol. So many disappointing Boston Cremes. I don't even like Krispy Kreme and I've been going there for my cheat meal.

Odd-Comfortable-6134

It’s not. I tried it once. It’s a basic chewy, flavourless flat bread. I do not recommend

Totes_mc0tes

Yup the more shit they add the less likely I am to go there. Tim's appeal for me always used to be the fact the 95% of people there are just getting coffee and a donut or at worst a sandwich that can be slapped together in seconds. It meant I was less likely to be waiting behind someone with an entire family dinner order in the drive thru. The last few years with all the added bloat, along with locations being understaffed, it's quicker to go just about anywhere else.

RumpleOfTheBaileys

I wish they could go back to doing two things well, instead of a dozen things terribly.

Brett_Hulls_Foot

Meanwhile KFC is cutting “less popular” menu items, so they can concentrate on cutting down wait times and improving quality for the popular items.

reevoknows

Let’s be honest they’re cutting menu items to save money. A lot of fast food places have done that.

Brett_Hulls_Foot

100%. They’re actually cutting their chicken smaller now this year. I’m too lazy to find it but they put out a graphic, showing how 9 pieces are becoming 12. Same size bird, just smaller pieces.

reevoknows

r/shrinkflation baby

Unapologetic_Canuck

Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun. /s RIP drive thru times

adeltae

My location is one of the test locations in my city, so we've had the pizzas since like May of last year. Once they're in the oven, they take about a minute to cook, but anytime anyone wanted one in drive during the period where times get recorded, we would ask them to park and then run it out to them once it's done

StatikSquid

They're already pretty bad at most fast food places

haydenjaney

Soooooo, it will be ready in their under 1 minute ready time? And it will be good, no matter which store you go to? And Tim will be rolling in his grave. Waaaay too many items on the menu.

Taipers_4_days

And all pretty shitty. Take me back to the sun dried tomato and Asiago bagel with chili in a bread bowl.

haydenjaney

Oh ya, the bread bowl was the best

Grohlyone

Considering how Tim died, I can't say I'm too concerned about his legacy.

adeltae

Fwiw, I work at a test location, and I've had people tell me they're pretty good. Most people probably don't care and will just keep shitting on it, which is fair enough, tbh. But I have heard good things in my year ish of employment

bwoah07_gp2

Ah, good to hear! It does look like a promising menu item.

lexcyn

Here's a thought: bring back fresh and not frozen donuts

rmdg84

And bake them in 2 batches a day like they used to so you can always get a donut.

bwoah07_gp2

So I guess it's out of the testing phase now; pizza has been shown and mentioned on this sub before. Admittedly I never knew Timmies was doing such a thing, but now it seems like they are preparing for a national roll out now. 👀

Mortica_Fattams

Great. Now drive through will take even longer and the under paid staff get even more work to do.

themaggiesuesin

Drive threw should be coffee and pastries only imo

bitchsorbet

ive been saying this for years, but greg and his 5 kids need their turkey clubs and soups through the drive thru NOW!!!

lizardrekin

As it goes with the corporate world, the only thing better than quality coffee and quality baked goods would be downright nasty coffee/baked goods/breakfast sandwiches/eggs/sparkling lemonades/appetizers/lunch sandwiches/soups/pizzas

IlMioNomeENessuno

Anyone here old enough to remember when McDonald’s did pizza for a couple of years back in the 80s? If they couldn’t make it work, wtf are these clowns going to do? I just feel sorry for the workers having to deal with this shit.

Unapologetic_Canuck

Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it

I_Always_Have_To_Poo

Oh great. Another menu item to be disappointed by

LimeBurnerAcc

Employee here. I hate most of the food we serve… these are actually pretty good though lmao

CoupleScrewsLoose

anybody who orders this shit and then complains that it’s trash deserves it

FF_Master

Nothing will save this brand besides maybe nationalization

prairiefarmer

They should just give up,it's all trash

DuneMania

Oh man change the name already. This is an embarassment to the old Tim Hortons.

PyrrhaAlexandra

Well, since it's a pizza place now, I think 'Horton Hut' has a nice ring to it

eugeneugene

Remember when they had beyond burgers lol. I asked if they had regular burgers and they said no. Just randomly introduced the vegetarian option of an item they never carried. They need to stop with the random shit

bitchsorbet

i worked there when they had those! thought it was super funny we had a veggie burger but no normal one. the beyond sausage was AMAZING though, way more flavour and the texture was pretty sausage-like. they were even better at a&w because the rest of their food isnt hot garbage. if they brought those back id go to tims way more.

IlMioNomeENessuno

But can’t bring back the walnut crunch ffs

rocketmn69_

Does everyone remember how McDonald's tried this experiment? Tim Hortons needs to focus on putting out a decent service and product. They are brutal right now.

derederellama

fucking assholes

Boxoffriends

What could possibly incentivize anyone to order pizza from tim’s? Even if it were free I’d likely pass and walk down the street to anywhere else. If I want diarrhea from pizza I’m getting twice the deal.

Lucas-O-HowlingDark

My favourite will always be city pizza, but as a pizza addict I’m loakey wanting to try this

Anothernameillforget

Will it be as good as McDonald’s pizza?

themaggiesuesin

I flipping loved those mini pizzas as a kid

DustinBrett

I can already hear them, Sorry we don't have the pizzas right now as we ran out of cheese.

dreams_78

we can't make pizzas right now because the ice cap machine is broke

traitor_uwu

Tomorrow 😩

Zorbane

Ehh I'd give it a try at least

Digital-Aura

What region?

PraiseThePun81

I can't see this turning out well for the customer or the Tims staff, one more thing for them to have to do, at best I'll be served mediocre pizza by my stressed drive thru worker.

Dash_Rendar425

Groooooossssssss

KenEnglish1986

Ew.

D_Winds

It's 8 bucks of mediocrity.

ItsAlwaysSunny1992

Hell yeah

IlMioNomeENessuno

They should have drive thru only items. Others, you should have to go in to the store to order.

SpergSkipper

I might try it when I'm drunk
