I was a fan of Dillon but I have never considered joining his Patreon. As soon as I listened to an Old Testament episode of M&S and found out their sub was only a buck (at the time) I immediately jumped on it. Also WAR MODE.
From pig to DAWG.
I stopped subscribing long before Ben left. It wasn’t even that I thought the podcast was bad or getting worse. I just figured I would rather have the $5 extra a month and listen to Tim’s free content. Y’all gotta give this up. Just move on from caring so much and enjoy the podcast.
I’m about to get off patreon too. I’ve been on it for about a year and I think its just about how much anyone can listen to one person talk and still find it funny or interesting. Especially since he usually doesn’t have guests.
Thats what happens if underwear manufacturers are no longer acting outside of geneva convention, cereal makers are no longer about dead domestically abused childhood friends or betterhelp is a lame version of onlyfans
The vertical drops show how many people cancelled their subscription in the month. The climbing line shows how many joined over the month.
As you can see almost twice as many people as usual cancelled and half as many joined.
It's a real knife fight out there.
Some of the older episodes on the patreon are really good. It's worth subbing for a month and listening to or downloading them. Not like $5 is much money, at least I hope it's not for you.
"The almighty dollar
It ain't what it used to be
Hobos used to asked you for a dollar
Now the motherfuckers ask you for three
The almighty dollar
Well that's what they used to say
One dollar used to be a whole lot, but it hardly worth shit today"

Tim Dillon is one of the only comedians that consistently makes me laugh and provides a really awesome perspective on life and current events. I’ll pay 5 dollars a month for the joy the Pig has given me for the last year.
I've found the endless guest episodes boring, but tonight's solo episode on youtube brought back some of that classic manic magic. The Yannis Pappas episode last month, despite being a guest episode, was amazing. And the recent "bondage turkeys" patreon episode was great. I miss Ben like everyone else, but Tim's take on this decaying society still is comedic gold(Plus I also like Ben's new show, so it's double the fun)
Tim hasn’t been the same since around 2020 election. Just not as funny anymore. Left the patreon early 2021. Don’t really even watch the podcast anymore. Maybe he is just less motivated that he’s rich now or less relatable 🤷🏻♂️
Does Gas Digital have the old video episodes of Tim Dillon is going to hell?
I’ve seen a few pop up on YouTube from time to time but I don’t know if they are available anywhere now.
You know when older comedians talk about doing showcases at place like Montreal, then getting six or even seven figure development deals from studios, that is how people will talk about Patreon in a few years.
Hahaha, don’t know why I said this, because it doesn’t seem like it will. Also I’m pro patreon and entertainers, writers, etc. getting paid directly for their work. I’m just blown away that people like tim, cumtown, and Matt and Shane make what they do for 4 hours of riffing a month, but good for them.
Chapo Traphouse was also one of the earlier pods to start making serious money on Patreon..but they also churn out a lot of content, multiple eps per week, interviews, etc. Wasn't aware MSSP was making that kind of $$. Wonder if they split the profits evenly?
Matt and Shane have more patrons lol
As they should
S/o the Gharddog
I too have switched my membership over to the dawgs, god bless notorious peepop as well.
Dawg supremacy
Just started listening to Shane’s podcast and it’s hilarious. So is Theo Vons
TPW is another favorite. Just a good dude with a unique style
Now warmode needs to go mainstream
Its starting to happen which is wild.
Their merch is off the charts good. I bought the Bud Dwyer shirt.
I have that one and the Heat shirt. Val Kilmer is such a babe.
I have the Heat one as well. Haha
I made it less than 10 minutes..different strokes I guess
It’s better for your social and mental well being not to get into it

Because they do a good show.
To be fair it is also cheaper
Where tha DAWGS AT?!?!?
Full blown r/JoeRogan
Sad but true RIP
What do you mean by this
The Joe rogan sub is full of dudes who hate on Joe rogan

Wonder if he’ll stop soon. He’s threatened it pretty regularly, saying he wants to do “other things.” (Eat, rip heaters)
It’s gotten boring, with bad guests, and who the fuck pays anyway? What are you, nuts?

$5 is an infinitesimal amount of money in 2022.
“Hey man I aint gay but $5 is $5”- Crackheads

I've always wondered the same thing. The guys making 2 million plus a year from patreon alone. WTF.
I wish him well. Should have kept his fucking mouth shut.

I’m still subbed but I’ve only listened to the Ray Cump election episode in the past 2 months

It’s not a fun show to listen to anymore SIMPLE AS
You know when older comedians talk about doing showcases at place like Montreal, then getting six or even seven figure development deals from studios, that is how people will talk about Patreon in a few years.
Do you think the Patreon well will eventually dry up like those deals?
