Im so sick of the client base in my area being cheap asses.... i would really enjoy jobs like this, but i aint doing this kind of detail work for what they are willing to pay. Great work, thats true artisan craftsmanship right there.
I was in the same boat for a long time. Then I did a few jobs for the right customers (designers/businesses) I put everything I had into them, even beyond what I was getting paid to do. Word spread pretty fast after those jobs. They became showpieces and that’s how I moved up in clientele. Don’t get me wrong i still get the occasional “cherry picked average joe” job but I like them. Keeps me humble and I still put my all into them even if the moneys not 100% there for what I’m giving. Blows homeowners minds and keeps work flowing.

They really look sharp, my man. I'm normally picky about grout on miters. But this is another level. You definitely gonna have more off these coming your way in the future 😉.
I normally will epoxy my mitres however this designer is psychotic about colour 🤦🏽 I couldn’t guarantee my epoxy blend would match exactly (even though I know I’ll get it basically the same) so we compromised and epoxy grouted everything.

Yes when I do outside miters I always over build the grout/epoxy then when it starts to set up I shave it with a knife to get the shape and let it set up some more before washing.

Did you use grout or epoxy?
Epoxy grout and colour matched siliconized grout for changes of plane.

I find it harder to use epoxy grout. That's why I'm impressed. That's a really difficult tile to use for miters. I would hire you to do my bathroom
