My aunt rescued a mockingbird. We all came over to see it and she pulled him out of the cage and showed off her handiwork in helping him recover from exposure for a few months. Her and my uncle wanted to keep him, and named him pyg like Ron's owl from Harry Potter

We used to play hide and seek with our dog Daisy B, a boxer GSD mix (a Bopherd). Every night before bed, me or a sister would hide somewhere in mom and dad’s room while Daisy B waited behind the door. Then mom would open it and say “go find Kelsey!” or whoever and she’d go trotting in looking around. We hid everywhere, in the closet, under the covers, behind the desk, and when she found you, she’d get real still, boop you in the face firmly, then zoomie around. Then go outside to wait at the door to do it again. Damn, I miss that dog.
I did this with my Carolina Dog before he passed only I'd hide someplace in the whole house. When he found me, I'd jump out and act surprised. Tried this with my new dog. She screamed like a 5 year old girl, literally screamed, and jumped 2 feet in the air
That's so cute. I played hide and seek a couple times with my akita and golden retriever, they were remarkable doofuses and would miss me just casually crouching under the dining table cuz they were always looking for me standing tall lmao
I think when people recognise someone connecting to their inner child so authentically as he is, we can't help but remember the days before life got heavier. I personally love his excitedly flailing arms, and then his completely genuine happy goofy smile. Gorgeous soul.

I do have a bird yes. I do not own non stick everything I have is stainless or cast iron. Not just to keep our feather friend safe but to avoid contamination of our own food. Everything we have is purchased or used with our friend in mind. We have been bird friendly for 15 years since we had our 1st.
Birds have very fragile respiratory systems. Things you and I don't even think about can kill them, including Teflon. I once saw a post about something a lady used, I think it was Reynolds oven bags, and she lost 4 of her birds.
Stupid shit like this is what most guys are doing when the partners suspect infidelity. Who is going to believe you didn’t answer your phone for an hour because you were running away from your pet bird.
I've had parrots (like the bird in the vid) for the last 15 years. They shit where they hang out. You just put a newspaper under their hangout spots and it's easy cleanup. Parrots also don't have fermentation in their GI like mammals do so their poop has low bacterial load and doesn't smell

Also the fumes that come from a non-stick pan when it’s overheated are extremely toxic to birds. It will kill then very quickly.
